Dr. Terence N Chapman

Dr. Chapman is a highly skilled surgeon and Lexington Hospital is lucky to have him. He was my surgeon and did a amazing job.

Both the in-office visits and the biopsy were done in an informative manner. Dr. Chapman does not rush his explanations and is a very relaxing and caring physician. This is a scary procedure, and he did a tremendous job.

Had my first appt this morning with Chapman.. spent less than 5 minutes with me; didn't bother to assess me nor ask what symptoms I've been experiencing with a kidney mass; went off a CT scan from ER and didn't even bother to look at my CT/Ultrasound CD that I brought with me... As a RN myself.... UNBELIEVABLE that a specialist would treat another medical professional this way.. then the practicing manager says, well most people don't have symptoms with these, 'Well I do!.' She actually covered up for him .. no surprise there!!! Great surgery results..March 2021..removal of prostate.. Had second opinion with Mayo in Jacksonville...Drs. There 100% agreed with Dr Chapman's findings and treatment...We would 100% recommend this Dr and practice!!!!! And already have!!!!

Excellent surgeon, great bedside manner, informative and caring. I had robotic radical prostatectomy in 2019 and have had excellent results in cancer cure, continence, and erectile function.

I recently had a mass on my kidney that needed to be removed. Dr. Chapman and his staff were extremely helpful explaining everything and walking me through my nervousness of having this type of surgery. After surgery, my recovery went well with no complications despite bleeding issues during surgery. I appreciate Dr. Chapman's straight forward talk and appreciate him explaining things in terms that I can understand. The biopsy was cancerous but using the robotic surgery, Dr. Chapman believes that he was able to remove it all. We have follow-up appointments already scheduled.

Doctor Chapman is awesome. He took great care of my mother. She has has kidney and bladder cancer. She had her kidney removed a few years ago - with check ups every six months there after. On her last check up they found a tumor in her bladder which was removed by Dr Chapman. He administered 6 weeks of a Mitomycin treatment directly into the bladder. My husband has cancer on both kidneys and Terence Chapman was taking the results of a scan to a cancer seminar he was attending. We never received the results of the scan even though I called and requested them numerous times. Our internal medicine doctor could not find them either. No one from the office would ever return my calls, It has been 10 months and we still have no answers. I am not sure who is worse: Terence Chapman or Stanley Greenberg.
