Very happy and pleased with the service and care of this dental facility. Oral surgery went perfectly and the recovery was fast and smooth. Recommended 100%

I was a little nervous about getting molar removed. The “laughing gas” make the experience less frightening. It has taken about a week but jaw area is starting to feel normal. Per my visit yesterday, I am on the way to normal. Thank you Dr. Lozano.

Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lozano and her staff. My daughter received an amazing care during her wisdom teeth surgery. Dr. Lozano and her team went above and beyond to insure that she was comfortable and happy.

It was a very enjoyable experience. In going through with the procedure, she was sure to inform me on every aspect of it: recovery process, surgery, anesthetic options, etc. She demonstrated how to take care of my operated tooth after, which was incredibly helpful. She was attentive of my pain tolerance throughout the entirety of the surgery, and overall it was a very comforting experience.

I met with Dr Lozano in desperation after my daughter developed a really bad infection from a previous oral surgery with another doctor which I refused to return to. She immediately prescribed my daughter the proper antibiotics and scheduled her for a procedure with sedation to clean out the infected area. She put us both at ease and understood the trauma my 11yr old had been through with another surgeon. She is very gentle and loving with children. My 15 yr old son also had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by her and everything went smooth and recovery was quick. I also really love the fact that she personally calls to check on her patients after surgery. I am very grateful for her and her wonderful staff. Great experience with the whole office.

Dr.Lozano was absolutely amazing when removing my wisdom teeth. The procedure went great and I felt like I was in really good hands. Two of my friends also got their wisdom teeth removal done with Dr.Lozano and they both spoke wonders!

This is the second time I surgical treatment by Dr Teresa Lozano and her team. A few years ago I had extractions and dental implants with Dr Lozano, today I had to see her again for two failing teeth that needed extractions. It wasn’t a surprise to see in a new x-ray that my implants are perfectly well done and functioning. I had two extractions today, Dr Lozano and her team made me feel at ease and reassured me at all times. The procedure was completely painless and very quick. I can recommend Dr Lozano and her team to anyone needing any oral and maxillofacial treatment. I called to inquire about a consultation for my wisdom teeth and the receptionist, Cara I think her name was? Was SO RUDE and hung up on me. I am taking my business elsewhere. Hard to believe my amazing dentist referred me here. I will be letting them know they should refer people elsewhere.

The lady handling the insurance lied to me again and again saying that the insurance hadn't approved the claim when I had the approval number in my hand. I called the office multiple times and they always said they would call me back ... they NEVER did. When I tried to talk to the doctor about it the staff tried to keep me from speaking to the doctor.They made me wait for six weeks to do surgery on my son and at the end of six weeks they still were not ready. I had to go to another doctor and worse my son had to suffer the consequences. Feel free to go with her. You'll remember this review. Dr. Losano took me under her wing when I was only 20 years old and scared to have my wisdom teeth removed on my own. Wisdom teeth removal is a coming of age for most young adults. She made the process extremely smooth. I was awake the whole surgery as I could not afford the gas but she joked with me the entire time and was so sweet. I felt super comfortable and was able to afford without insurance. Thank you doctor, you are the best! Dr. Velasquez and her office staff were excellent, from my first call to make an appointment, to our first office visit, to the extraction of my 17 year old daughters 4 impacted wisdom teeth, to her follow up a week later. The cost was almost half what I had been quoted by another oral surgeon in South Miami. The care and attention to my daughter was superior. We highly recommend Dr. Mariana Velasquez! Dr Lozano is a great doctor. She is very thorough and has great bed side manner. She takes a stressful event, like removing your wisdom teeth and makes it an easy process. I just had mine done today and she called me around 7pm just to check in on me. Highly recommended!

I needed to have a tooth pulled and was very nervous because I was diagnosed with heart failure in July. They were highly recommended by someone on Facebook. I couldn't have asked for a better Oral surgeon. Dr Velasquez sat down and talked with me about my condition and even called my dr to consult with her. She sung Christmas songs while she pulled my tooth which took my mind off of my tooth, and she also called me the day after the extraction to see how I was doing, that totally blew me away how caring she was. The staff were all so nice. They made me feel so comfortable and I can't thank them enough. I recommend Dr.Lozano with my eyes closed. From the minute I walked into her practice I felt very comfortable with her and the staff at MOSA who are very nice, and helpful. As for my experience I can tell you I walked into many maxillofacial offices as I had a very hard case to take on. No one wanted to extract my lower 2 wisdom teeth as my roots were past the nerve and basically on my jawbone. Very risky procedure that no one wanted to do. All Doctors I saw explained that I would lose all sensation of my mouth, and tongue and that if my jaw happens to snap during the extraction I would have to go under reconstructive surgery right then and there. Therefore they would have to do the procedure in a hospital setting. ( Who would want to go through all that and then for what to have screws in your mouth and droll all the time due to loss of sensation ) I was having constant infections in my mouth due to the impacted wisdom teeth who ruptured a piece of my gum on each side of my mouth. I decided to just deal with it, and try to keep my mouth as clean as possible so no food stays back there. I really gave up on my mouth. It was very frustrating walking into so many offices paying consultation fees only to walk away, with no plan of action since one dr would just send me to another. Until a friend who is in the dental field recommended me to Dr.Lozano. I was so happy when I walked out of her office. Her plan was very different from everyone else I went to see. She considered having a coronectomy done. She explained the procedure & risks. And boom, I left with a plan of action! I went home to my husband so happy that he couldn’t believe that I found someone that wanted to help me. I had another appt a couple days before surgery where my husband came with me to meet Dr.Lozano and she once again explained and educated us on the procedure, what her plan was, and how I would have to take care of my mouth after surgery. Surgery day came and went. It’s been 2 years since the surgery. 2 years with no infections in my mouth! No complications from surgery! And I go back every year as she requests to followup on my roots which are still there in tact. She definitely changed my life. As no one wants to live with infections in their mouth, or a reconstructed jaw. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Maxillofacial Doctor. I recommend Dr.Lozano with my eyes closed. She is seriously the BEST doctor ever! I am VERY sensitive to pain and I took out my wisdom teeth with JUST the typical Novocain and I did not feel an ounce of pain! She was so kind and understanding and made me feel like she really cared. Look no further for an oral surgeon, shes the best!
