I have been a patient of Dr. Barnes for over 5 years. He has been one of the best physicians I have seen. Caring, understanding, and thorough. I praise him to everyone I speak with. If you need a pulmonologist he is the one to have!

Dr Barnes has been my Pulmonogist for over 10 years - he is an incredible man & Doctor -- he was very honest with me & told me if I didn't make some very serious changes I wouldn't live much longer than 5 years -- you can bet that got my attention. I was 39 and put on oxygen 24 hours daily - I can say now I no longer need supplemental oxygen.... and haven't been to the Hospital in years - I have no plans of leaving this Earth anytime soon. Recently I saw him as I had a nasty flare up - he called me himself 2 days later to see how I was doing - I've never had another doctor call me personally..... He is kind but honest and very down to Earth . If looking for a Pulmonary team look no further than Dr Barnes & his staff - they are Great ! ???? He is very thorough and takes the time to explain in detail what is going on and what the plan of treatment is. He and his staff are excellent about returning phone calls and messages.

Dr. Barnes is an excellent pulmonary specialist. Have seen him for 6+ years since an auto immune condition occurred needing his care. He is well versed in his specialty and reaches out to other dr's as needed for further expertise. He spends appropriate time w/patient based upon case load at any given time. Good with evaluations, input, symptom analysis and meds. Very good with correspondence with other docs and returning emails. Would recommend him highly. Knows his stuff. Good PA too.
