I have had several visits with Dr Nutt and have been extremely impressed with her expertise and with her staff. She is efficient in her diagnosis and has always given me the opportunity to ask questions. I appreciate her and her staff. I definitely would recommend her to family and friends.

I have never been treated as rudely by a doctor in my life. My father is 84, has Stage 4 prostate cancer, rashes all over his body and now a probable cancer presenting on his hand. Yet, even though he requests my presence in his exam as I am his primary caregiver, the do not allow me to be in attendance. Rather, the cashier has to interpret what she can from the poorly written notes Dr.Nutt sends with my father. Then, when I question the updated diagnoses from our last visit, Dr.Nutt spoke so rudely and so condescendingly to me that I actually had to ask her why she was speaking to me as though I were not intelligent, and why she was being so condescending. She snapped and spoke over me, then turned and left. She was absolutely a horrifically rude human being. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. She shouldn’t interact with other people. That woman needs a desk job in a basement.

This doctor is THE WORST I’ve ever experienced. She is RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. The MOST condescending “care giver” I’ve EVER experienced. I literally had to ask her why she was being so condescending to me. She just spoke over me and turned and left. She is a horrific provider. NEVER AGAIN.

Extremely rude staff. My pharmacist has had trouble refilling my prescription countless times. After calling the office I was told I needed to renew my prescription yet again. I was charged $106 dollars once again for literally 2 minutes of Dr. Nutts time. Scam artists and completely rude staff.

Terrible! This office and this Dr. Represent what is wrong with medicine today... Greed, greed, greed...Arrogance, and pomposity.Be careful, elderly population.. Like a used car salesman, the nice building, beautiful furnishing, then you see what's underneath...a wreck... But only after you've bought in. They won't tell you UP FRONT about the $100 fee they make you pay to "hold" your appt. ONLY after you've established yourself. Listen to the warning people have posted here. It is the only way we as the public, can inform one another, about the terrible business practices of others! After seven minutes of arriving to a 330 appointment I was refuse to be seen because the doctor had already left since I did not show up for my 330 appointment!!!!! Knowing that the traffic is unpredictable on 1604 and in the area the doctor did not have the consideration to at least wait a few minutes before leaving. The staff was extremely unprofessional and seamed as they didn't care about my complaint. How can this happen with a Dr. recommended by tricare. This is totally unacceptable. PLEASE READ :UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR FROM STAFF, LOST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS HERE, MISDIAGNOSIS LEAD TO MONTHS OF PAIN AND SUFFERING. Do not waste your money here. I came to Terri’s office (she does not deserve the respect that comes with adding Dr to the title), FIVE months ago. I was severely itchy on my scalp and had a rash on my neck. She looked at my head for five seconds, diagnosed me with dermatitis, gave me prescriptions, charged me 120 dollars and I was out. Two months later and my issues had gotten worse, so I returned to the same office. Terri was out on vacation and another “doctor” checked my scalp again (for no time at all) and said the same thing. He gave me stronger drugs and sent me off. Another month goes by and I’m suffering. My head is constantly on fire, my lymph nodes start swelling up, I become weak and fatigued when walking for to long, I sleep all day, and I’m itching my scalp so bad that I’m losing hair (I’m only 19) and bleeding. I started doing natural treatments because I figure the doctors wasn’t working at all, and I ended up pouring olive oil mixed with tea tree oil in my hair. The oil is so sticky that I comb it out in the shower, and suddenly, THOUSANDS OF LICE are crawling out of my hair. The oil was suffocating them and forcing them out onto the surface. I’d had lice for almost six months, and two trained dermatologists couldn’t be bothered to be thorough and diagnose me correctly. This place should be closed down, and these “doctors” should have their licenses removed. Not only have I lost a lot of hair, I’ve developed anemia from the amount of iron I have lost, as well as a slew of strange allergies that weren’t present before. I called trying to get my money back from my previous visits since I’d clearly been screwed over. The receptionist could not have cared less about my situation and put me on hold several times. She said Terri would get back with me and she never called me back. I’ve proceeded to call every day now for four days and I keep getting transferred around, and Terri has NEVER called me back, and I’m starting to believe the idea that I’ll get any of my money back is a sad fantasy. Not only have I spread lice throughout my entire house, but FIVE other people in my household now have lice. My case was so bad that we had to go to a professional, and spend even more money because there was THOUSANDS of lice in my hair, not to mention eggs. I am furious. These are not doctors, they’re clowns. PLEASE READ :UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR FROM STAFF, LOST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS HERE, MISDIAGNOSIS LEAD TO MONTHS OF PAIN AND SUFFERING. … More

I would not recommend this provider and will not return. She spends very little time with her patients, will not return if you have questions, and I left the clinic feeling unwelcome. I don't feel confident in her treatment and don't think she provided a thorough exam. A full body exam took her two minutes at the most. I came in for a lip lesion and she was very aggressive when she examined my lip. Without warning, shined a bright light in my eye and aggressively palpated my lip. She did not tell me the cream she gave me would deglove my lip.

My experience with Dr. Terri Nutt is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor before. She is 30-45 minutes late to my appointments and spends a total of 2 minutes with me. She does not listen and she made me feel stupid for being frustrated with my acne. I paid my copay just to be told I need to be patient with my medication when she could've just called me to say that. She needs to learn a little bit about empathy and caring about her patients in my opinion. The only reason I chose her was because she was the only one that had availability that month and now I know why. I will be finding a new dermatologist.

Horrible experience like many of the other reviews stated. I was just a few minutes late bc traffic on 1604. I still managed to fill out paperwork by the time they took me back. I sat down for 2 secs and the staff escorted me back to waiting area. I waited 30 min and watched people who came in after I sat there be taken back one after another. Having read the reviews while sitting there I went to the desk and asked why people coming in after me are being seen first. She said the doctor doesn’t like tardiness. I replied so I’m being punished for being a few minutes late out of my control? She replied yes!! I asked her for a refund of my co pay and stated I refuse to allow her to make money off me after this behavior. It was probably a blessing bc several reviews stated the dr misdiagnosed something that should not have been. Silver linings?... don’t waste your time or money, go somewhere else. The front desk staff were very nice actually and seemed either scared or apologetic for their Dr. Horrible experience like many of the other reviews stated. Incompetent and dangerous! Six years ago, after examining me for five minutes, this “doctor” diagnosed me with psoriasis. This was even after one of the other doctors in her office had performed a biopsy and ruled out psoriasis. She prescribed a biologic. I had high hopes for this visit because of Nutts location. I was leaving an excellent and well respected dermatologist because of location, alone. I literally sat in my car in shock after the appointment, trying to process what had just happened to me. ~They swept me back to the office before I even sat down or had a chance to stop by the ladies room or fill out Any forms.(I arrived early to my visit) ~Nurse came in and wrote down a few notes. ~Office personnel came INTO exam room to get my credit card for expected charges. All while trying to get I dressed for my all over exam! ~Nutt came in and looked at me for maybe 60 seconds. Without even knowing significant health history, prescribed me 4 meds ( more meds than I take for anything!) and added another after some results came back. She froze 3 spots...the charge is stated to you per amount of places you want frozen, 10 for $100, etc. like ordering pizza toppings. ~Next office personnel swept in to schedule a follow up. This may have taken a total of 15 minutes. Maybe that sounds good to you but I told my colleagues that I felt like I had gone through a car wash. I wasn’t even dressed when the office personnel kept coming in. I finally in frustration said something to the last office girl that came INTO THE EXAM ROOM to schedule my next visit. She said Nutt insists on keeping on schedule.(at what cost?) When I left, I saw the word Filler in the plastic folder holder on my door and there wasn’t a single patient waiting in the waiting room. Thankfully, I contacted my physician of importance to ask about the meds that Nutt had perscribed. She said that one of them was double her recommended dosage for someone with my condition and it seemed like a lot of meds for her diagnosis. I called Nutts office back to see if she would adjust down that med for me so that I wouldn’t cause myself a flare and she said no through the nurse. Didn’t even talk to me. Needless to say, Ive already cancelled my return visit with Nutt and scheduled a visit to my previous dermatologist and will tell her how much I appreciate her talent, pace and personal care and concern. I didn’t fill ANY of the prescriptions. I totally wasted my insurance. This is the 7th largest city in America and we have many wonderful physicians to choose from and do not have to settle for inferior care, like maybe you would in a small town. A doctors office doesn’t need to be a place where needy people go to get their hands held, but, neither should it feel like a MASH unit where you have such a terrible experience. I’m 63 and have NEVER written a review positive or negative for a physician. I’m happy for the 5 star reviews left here, but I would have given a zero star, if possible. Nutt may be a good physician, but, I’ll never know, because she’s not a match for me. Hope things are different for you should you choose to go to this office. When I arrived the receptionist marked me as late when I was filling out paper work and had a time stamp of my co payment receipt. The receptionist was rude. I was left waiting in a room for almost 2 hrs after working an entire over night shift and driving out an hr to her location and was highly disappointed in the professionalism. HORRIBLE bedside manner. Told me I had herpes in a careless cold way, didn’t recommend a test. I told her it was very unlikely I contracted it and asked for a test anyways. And guess what I was NEGATIVE. I asked the nurse to have her call me because I need to figure out what it could be, the nurse was the one to call back with put a cream on it and you will be fine. Also I told her a lotion for my eczema changed my life and she told me not to use it, it wouldn’t work. Even though it already was.

I went into the office for a boil. Dr. Nutt injected the boil with something that should have made the boil disappear. The boil was on my face. I woke up the next morning and half of my face was swollen!!! Went back to her office after visiting the ER apparently after the injection the boil got infected!! Even the ER staff never seen anything like and recommend I got back to her to figure it out. More recently, I went to see this doctor for psoriasis treatment. Apparently they make 10-minute appointments. Because if you are late by 10 minutes because you’re stuck in traffic due to the location of the office, you will have to reschedule. It doesn’t matter if you’re skin is on fire and you want to scratch it off. All that matters is you were late. Keep in mind the treatment I needed the nurse actually gives it to me but I still needed to reschedule. When I refused to reschedule and remain a patient, the office tried to keep my medication that was processed through my insurance. After making few calls they handed over the medication. Dr. Milton Moore at Skin M.D. is awesome!!! A friend who had gone to him for a cosmetic procedure recommended me. My friend who is rather "particular" was very happy with him, so I knew he would likely be quite good. I met with him for a bridal beauty skin consultation. I am a few months away from getting married and I wanted a professional opinion on things I could do to get my skin looking its absolute best on my wedding day. Dr. Moore first took the time to discuss my concerns and goals (i.e. clearer skin, improved texture, etc.). Half the time I go to see a physician I feel as if they're on autopilot and just waiting for me to stop talking, but Dr. Moore was great - he was present throughout the entire appointment. I loved that he asked me questions before I had to ask them myself. After discussion and examining my skin, he went over all the options he thought would be most beneficial. He even asked about important wedding related events/summer plans so that he could give me advice on when to book future appointments based on the recovery time needed for certain suggested procedures (i.e. facial peel, IPL). After my consultation I had my first ever peel. I am very happy with the results. My skin tone seems more even and my face is much softer than normal. I would definitely recommend him to any to-be brides (or grooms) out there. Oh - and staff was nice; I only had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes before being called back. Dr. Milton Moore at Skin M.D. is awesome!!! A friend who had gone to him for a cosmetic procedure recommended me. My friend who is rather "particular" was very happy with him, so I knew he would likely be quite good. I met with him for a … More

I took my husband for the office visit. The doctor didn't say hello to either one of us when she walked in. She didn't ask me any questions about my condition and wrote me a prescription for something I already tried before that didn't work. The whole visit was over in less than 2 minutes.

I saw Dr. Nutt for a neck rash. She took one glance and muttered it was from a life of sun exposure. I told her it came on suddenly. She didn't care. I was told cold compresses would ease the pain but I was stuck with the condition and there was no cure. I was then ushered to the payment counter. What a joke. I went to another dermatologist. Saw their nurse practitioner. She diagnosed tine a versicolor and took skin samples and confirmed it under the microscope. I was given a couple of prescriptions and it was cured in 3 days. What a joke Doctor Nutt was. She was upstaged by a nurse practitioner in her area of specialty. Do not go to this doctor. I saw Dr. Nutt for a neck rash. Have always had good experience with the Dr but the receptionist when called named Janet was super rude. It's as if they get upset because you call and question the amount you have to pay to see the doctor. If you don't like your job go work somewhere. I sure do did ask for her name so that way next time I won't talk to her rude butt. If you go try to avoid receptionest because this wasn't the first time they have been rude. Don't understand why the doctor doesn't get girl that are not rude. Have always had good experience with the Dr but the receptionist when called named Janet was super rude. Wonderful doctor but terrible/unorganized staff. I had an allergic reaction and needed to be seen right away. The staff completely messed up my appointment by scheduling me for a time when the doctor was not even in the office! Besides the fact that it took them 30 minutes to figure that out, they were completely unapologetic. I am extremely happy with the results that I have seen with Dr. Nutt… If only her staff was of the same caliber.

Super disappointed I had little bumps on my face and all they wanted to do was put me on birth control, then I opted for more options where the doctor recommended a chemical peel and it did nothing for the bumps, she was super quick with me and didn't seem to really want to help, super waste of time and money

I have always found Dr. McNutt to be clinically professional as well as very personable. She always does a physical exam of any problem I have, even when I would prefer to just pull the pants leg up. Her suturing is excellent, the knots are small and so are the loops. Then there is the fact that she was a rated USAF flight surgeon. For me that pretty much seals the deal. I would trust her to work on any of my family for anything related to her specialty.

I have seen Dr. Nutt for 4 years for skin cancers. She is very knowledgeable and is a skilled surgeon. Had 7 surgeries and can't find a scar. Her staff has not measured up lately. I have waited a week to get a cream for my eczema. They ordered a cream I could not afford and told them I needed something generic and lower cost, so they order another one that was almost the same cost. I called the Pharmacy and got the name of the generic cream and call it to her nurse. They should have done that.

The Skin MD, I can't say a lot of great things. I mean the office is nicely kept. Anyway I made an appointment for dandruff and mentioned over the phone I wanted it gone. What irked me about my visit is that when I check in it took me 35 minutes to meet with the wrong doctor, get asked no more than 7 questions, and get a strong recommendation to try the dandruff shampoos over the counter. Cosmopolitan is more detailed than that! So trashy to charge for something they don't treat

This was the first and last time I will ever see this doctor. The nurse listened more to me than the doctor did about my issues. She entered the room without even giving me a handshake or eye contact then didn't let me get in a word about my concerns. She didn't take the time to examine me, her recommendation was Cetaphil for everything. I literally paid $55 for her to tell me to buy Cetaphil. I went for an expert opinion, instead I should have just gone on WebMD, not SkinMD. Nutt was horrible.

Terrible doctor. Would not let me go back into the room with my mother even though I told them she had a language barrier and cognitive issues. They said the nurse spoke Spanish so she would be ok, but obviously did not understand what cognitive issues meant. The doctor's policy is that only the patient can go back into the room. That has NEVER happened to us before. Will never go back again.

Very unprofessional and charged an office visit and all the doctor asked was if our son had finished his prescription. Didn't seem him and charged $70, then asked to pay $70 again for the next appointment where he will be seen.

After dealing with a very painful condition for several years I decided to finally seek medical help. After an extensive google search trying to find someone who can see me right away, I stumbled upon Dr. Nutt. I must say that this was the best thing to happen to me. After being seen I left the office feeling cared for and helped with a problem that I did not want to admit I had. Her and the staff there was very kind and understanding. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience with Dr Nutt although I've only seen her a few times since she bought the practice from Dr Louden. She gets people in and out while still spending a reasonable amount of time with them (or at least for what I see her for). I am fortunate that I have not had to see her for anything major, but if I did I am comfortable with her bedside manor and am sure she could handle whatever the problem was. You'd be challenged to find a more efficiently-run office. I have always had a superb experience when dealing with Dr. Nutt and her staff. They are prompt, thorough and expedient with the follow-up results if required. In fact, in my case, they've gone above and beyond expectations. The new office on Lockhill-Selma is making the experience even more enjoyable.
