I received a cosmetic rhinoplasty from McMallan about a year ago to remove a hump on my nose and give it more of an upward slope shape. I expressed to McMillan how important it was for my nose not to appear “droopy” anymore as it was one of the main reasons I’d be spending $5,000+ for this surgery. I was assured that my nose hump would be taken away and my nose tip would be given a more refined and less bulbous and droopy look. It has been over a year post operation and my nose still has a droop. I am very disappointed in my result and extremely upset I didn’t go with a different surgeon. I almost want to cry about it when I think about it. I’ll never get my $5,000 back and I don’t see myself getting a revision for a very long time as the cost of that is sometimes more expensive than an initial cosmetic surgery. I am so incredibly sad about my results.
Dr. McMillan strong-armed me into allowing him perform balloon sinuplasty for my very severe chronic sinusitis. I was never a good candidate for this procedure, but I understand it bills for a great deal of money, and must be frequently repeated - unlike the endoscopic sinus surgery that I should have had. The procedure was brutal; over two hours long, incredibly painful, and absolutely terrifying (no sedation was administered to me). Unsurprisingly (he was NOT gentle) Dr. McMillan broke a small hole in my skull, which has allowed cerebrospinal fluid to flow from my left nostril since. I have had two surgeries (by a different surgeon) to repair the leak, but it is a notoriously difficult problem to treat, and I am still leaking CSF. I have constant head and neck aches, am at terrible risk of contracting meningitis, and will likely need to have a craniotomy to permanently repair what this man did to me. Do. Not. Trust. This. Person.

Regret taking my elderly mother to Dr. McMillan. We disclosed that she had glaucoma; yet, he prescribed a nasal spray for drippy nose that caused my mother's eye pressures to shoot up and cause complications with her eyes! The nose spray was NOT supposed to be prescribed to people with glaucoma!
Had a sinus surgery by Dr. McMillan in his office. I was having constant headaches and sinus infections and the surgery has changed my life. He and his staff were very helpful and professional.
After two previous unsuccessful rhinoplasties, I could not breathe and was very unhappy with my nose. Dr. McMillan fixed the problem and I am very happy with the result- my breathing has improved, and I'm happy with the appearance. He was honest and upfront, and is a good communicator. Horrific experience! Surgical error during tonsillectomy resulting in months of suffering. Regret that we did not take legal action!!
