Dr. Sy is very nice and easy to talk to. He explained everything I needed to know and answered all my questions.

I believe Dr. Theodore Sy is an excellent gastroenterologist. He is very attentive to the course of diagnostic and takes to the account all the nuances of the patient’s problem. He is the best doctor I have ever met. While others may just drop you in the middle of nowhere with inconclusive diagnosis but prescribe the hard medications even when the necessity hasn’t been proven, he takes all the attempts to make patient’s real health problem revealed and cured. DR SY Memorial Care Awesome!

Doctor Sy was thorough and informative. Excellent bedside manner. Caring and very professional. Recommend him highly.

This is long overdue but I am so very grateful to be under Dr. Sy’s care. I was scheduled to have a procedure done the day after Easter but that weekend, I really wasn’t feeling well and had a new development that I was concerned would impact the procedure. I messaged Dr. Sy late on Saturday nite and assumed he wouldn’t even see it until Monday and I was worried about what this would mean for my scheduled procedure. Dr. Sy actually called me on Easter afternoon! Not only did he call me himself on a major holiday but he discussed at me at length regarding the symptoms I was having and determined that he wouldn’t be able to know what was really going on with me until he examined me and that he didn’t want to put my health at any risk and so he advised that he see me asap before determining next steps. I was so relieved and when I saw him, he explained in detail what he was looking for in the exam and what it could mean. Procedures and new symptoms are always a stressful situation but the fact that Dr. Sy was so thorough, empathetic and went above and beyond the call of a duty on a major holiday made me feel lucky to be in his care. Although I am not looking forward to my rescheduled procedure, I am so glad that it will be with Dr. Sy! This is long overdue but I am so very grateful to be under Dr. Sy’s care. Dr. Sy is kind and patient. He is a good listener and goes out of his way to explain everything clearly. He makes me feel incredibly confident about my health care!

Great doctor but that is just about it, the office will never answers your phone calls, they ask you to leave your number to get a call back and it never happens. I have left my number seven times for an upcoming surgery and I am yet to receive a call. Went into the office and explained to front desk lady and She was utterly rude and unprofessional. As a 63 year old who unfortunately sees a lot of doctor due poor health have never seen such a poorly run medical office. Dr. Theodore Sy has an incredibly calm, “good listening” demeanor! Excellent bed side manner and helped me remember things at the end of my appt. that even I had forgotten to revisit. My husband is now switching from his Irvine Gastrentrrologist to Dr. Theodore Sy!

He really took time to ask many questions about my symptoms in order to determine how to treat my condition. He also ordered labs, food plan, medication, etc. I feel better knowing I will improve based on his knowledge and wisdom. Very nice man too.

Dr. Sy was super great. I appreciate his bedside manner and for him taking the time to thoroughly explain my concerns and symptoms. He made next steps In my plan of care very clear. I would also like to acknowledge Cynthia, RN. She was covering for another employee and drew my blood at the end of my appointment. She has such a kind and caring presence. She was very gracious with me and her colleagues. It was such a pleasure to work with her for mere moments.
