Dr. Conologue is the best in town!! Her and her team are so wonderful. Dr. Conologue knows what she is doing and I highly recommend her to all my friends/family.

Dr conologue is so amazing!!! Have had skin biopsies multiple times. Barely can see the sites. She is so personable and made me feel comfortable. Great office staff and perfect experience.

Dr. Conologue did a biopsy on my arm and didn't bother to tell me any care instructions, including not to lift anything heavy. It had to call numerous times before getting a response from a different doctor 3 days later just on how to care for the wound after I already tore my bicep since the anesthetics numbed my whole arm when it shouldn't have since she hit a nerve. When I went back a few weeks later for a different procedure she denied the fact that my whole arm should not have gone numb and they don't normally tell patients care instructions after a procedure. I'm still suffering from my arm injury and other side effects a year later. Don't recommend her and not going back. I've been going to Dr. Conologue for many years & have been nothing but impressed. She's a warm, caring & extremely professional person. Always so very kind.

The whole office is a joke. Their practice will choose to accept or decline you AFTER looking over medical history first. If you're accepted and they decide they can help you, you will then get an appointment. I went to Dr. Conologue last week with the hopes of having my skin evaluated and I brought along my three children. I signed in and when the nurse called me, she informed me that they could not see me because they have a one-child policy, much like China. The nurse informed me that they have small rooms and sharp objects, which is justifiable, however, no one notified me of this policy when making the appointment or when I first arrived. I have never been turned away from an appointment before because I brought my three children. It would be helpful if the receptionist and/or website had some sort of disclaimer so a parent could adjust accordingly. I've been a patient of this practice for years now and I've never had difficulty with the staff or making appointments. I had one blip which wasn't a result of the doctor but from the receptionist. I showed up for an appointment that was confirmed via phone, but then they said i didn't have an appointment, but they fit me in within a couple of days. Annoying, but could be worse. I'm a freckled redhead and have had skin cancers already (not even 40 yet) and they have provided me with professional care and education. I totally agree with their 1 visitor/ child policy. Why are people so upset? There are needles, razors and scalpels in the rooms on the trays to do biopsies and removals. It's a liability issue, not that they don't like your children. Have been seeing Dr. Conologue for several years. I have had numerous cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions removed so I go in every six months. I have always been seen in a timely manner and with a smile. As for the child complaint, if you plan on bringing 3 children with you, mention that when you make your appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Conologue! I was nervous going to see a dermatologist (I have lots of freckles. . ), and her office staff immediately made me feel more less nervous. . from the initial phone call to my very quick appointment! The office staff was helpful and very pleasant in person as was the nursing staff! I really liked Dr. Conologue, and I did not feel a bit rushed. . After the exam, we chatted for a couple of minutes about our kids. . and I had no previous knowledge of her at all! If/When I need to see a dermatologist, I will definitely return to her office. . and I'll certainly recommend her to everyone I know!

I'm a Nurse Practitioner in the Community who refers patients. I do not recommend this Practice especially for those with special circumstances. When I made the appt. I was not informed that children and a grandmother with Dementia would not be permitted in the room. I was turned away from the appt. Opportunity was not even granted first to determine if the children would behave in the room or not. The office needs to work on communication. It should be made clear while making an appt. Their expectations. I have never been turned away for any appt before at other Practices nor had problems with the behaviors of my children or grandmother I care for, during an appt. I had been a patient of Dr Conologue's for several years. I drive a convertible, and, if the sun is shining, the top is down year round, we always vacation at a beach and we now have a pool so I'm very conscientious about making sure I get my skin checked regularly. I called to make an appointment and was told that it had been quite some time since I'd been in. I told the receptionist that there must be a mistake in their paperwork but was told, that according to the records it had been too many years and I would have to fill out new-patient paperwork. I (believe the receptionist said 4 years which would have been impossible). I said that would be fine, I'd be happy to fill out the new-patient paperwork and asked when would be the first time I could get an appointment. I was absolutely dumbfounded when she said, I'm sorry, Doctor Conologue, is not taking any new patients!!! I'd been going there for several years and had always had a positive experience. Since moving back to the area, I have been a patient of Dr. Conologue and her practice. My visits are excellent as I am always welcomed with a warm smile, brought back to the exam room timely, her staff addresses all my questions and concerns professionally, and I leave with a smile (even when I've had diagnoses that I would prefer no one to ever have as the skin cancer battle continues on). Dr. Conologue and her staff have wonderful, professional attitudes and I highly recommend her to all family/friends! My visits are excellent as I am always welcomed with a warm smile, brought back to the exam room timely, her staff addresses all my questions and concerns professionally, and I leave with a smile (even when I've had diagnoses that I would prefer no one to ever have as the skin cancer battle continues on). I have been a patient of Dr Conologue for many years and have always been extremely pleased with her care. She has treated me for numerous skin issues and in all cases the issue was resolved in 1 visit! She is very customer oriented and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Conologue is amazing, her and her team are so nice. They have helped me through the toughest times and saw me the same day I called about my concerned mole that ended up being stage 2 melanoma. They made all my appointments with my surgeon and oncologist for me leading up to my surgery. As long as I live in Fredericksburg I will never see anyone other then her team at Horizon plastic surgery and dermatology. Dr. Conologue is amazing, her and her team are so nice. My wife have been pleased with Dr. Conologue's professional care that she provides at the same time she is interested and relaxed. She immediately found a melanoma that another dermatologist's office had recently said was nothing. Fortunately for me, it was still in early development and was removed before the cancer had spread. I have come to greatly rely on and trust Dr. Conologue as an outstanding physician.

I missed an appt due to a personal reason and did not have time to cancel. So now she refuses to see me again. The first procedure did not work and that cost over $400. Get off your high horse. Regular people have lives too!

My husband and I have been patients for several years. I recommend Dr Conologue and this practice wholeheartedly. The staff is very kind and professional. I am confident that our care is the best possible. I have and will continue to recommend Dr C.

Apptmts felt rushed. Refused to write a letter to my insurance co. for a med. I have been using for yrs. Claimed ins. wouldn't cover it. I told her for yrs, other derm docs and a PA in her office had no prob. getting my ins. to cover my med. She suggested I buy my med she said ins. wouldn't cover from THEIR OFFICE. Claimed it would save me $. Their's cost $80, mine cost $10. I went to a new derm doc and my med was covered! Also, canceled an apptmnt on me & had to wait over 1 mo. for new appt.

Attentive to patient needs. Mindful care. It's no wonder her schedule is full. Great doctor. She has added other doctors to her practice. Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend Dr. C to family and friends. She's a very good doctor and has a great staff. The only down side, in my humble opinion, is that she gives you the bare minimum of time. It appears her practice is overbooked.

She is NOT taking new patients. They said check back in August , maybe? If a person needs to see a doctor it is NOT helpful to be told SORRYnothing we can do, call back in a few months. The website says they ARE accepting new patients. They aren't.That gives a great sense of their lack of concern. you can't even get in to see the doctor

I have total confidence in her diagnoses and decisions regarding my dermatological health. She has been very helpful to me and always provides very good suggestions and guidance. I have yearly exams to keep on top of non-malignant skin lesions and she is very thorough and prudent. On top of being a valued and professional doctor, she's a very nice person too!

She isn't taking new patients. The girl who answered the phone was rude. The people one hires for office staff is a reflection of the rest of the decisions they make.
