The desk was very friendly however things changed when the issue of payment was involved. The Doctor is one of many on United Health PPO provider however they know nothing about the United Health Plans. They expected me to call my insurance plan to see what they would pay for. I always thought the clinic speakes with the insurance code and see what can take place and what cannot. Then he kicks me out the room literally tells me to leave because he needed to know how he was going to get paid. Which leads me to believe he wants the money more then doing his job and making sure his administration communicates with United Health themselves. Doctors pledge to care for thier patient and he didn't. While I was speaking to United Health on the phone she was requesting a CPT code to understand what they was ordering and they refuse to assist with that. Which could have been discussed better with two people that speaks the same lingo. Which again shows it's not about the patient. He should not be an PPO provider if him and his team is not willing to work with the Insurance Companies paying the bill. Dr. Carlile is a fantastic Doctor. He literally saved my life and I owe him BIG!
you have to get used to his ways but he is a great doctor. he does what he has to and he expects you to follow his information if you want to get well. I have no complaints.
He's a good doctor who will take the time to listen if you ask him to. It takes time to used to his ways but I have never had a bad experience with him or his office staff. My needs are always taken care of with respect and compassion. I have been his patient for 14 years and am always able to get an appointment either that day or the following day.
