During my yearly dental visit, Dr. Drake brought to my attention that I might have sleep apnea. He recommended that I complete a home sleep study. Both the assistant and Dr. Drake explained how this home study worked and answered all of my questions. I was able to get the required equipment from Dr. Drake’s office. Another doctor reviewed the data from the sleep study and concluded that I did suffer from sleep apnea. A mouth guard was then purchased through Dr. Drake’s office. I have been wearing my mouth guard almost every night for over a month and I am seeing great results. My husband reports that I am not snoring, as long as I am wearing the mouth guard. I forgot the mouth guard one night and did snore that night. When wearing the mouth guard, I wake up the next morning eager to get up. I have more energy and focus throughout the day. I wish I had done this sooner. I am grateful to Dr. Drake for bringing this condition to my attention.

Had some issues with missing teeth and Dr. Drake and his staff really did a great job. No discomfort, my smile looks so much better. Thank you.

I have been going to see Dr. Drake for almost 20 years. He cares about his patients. Before any procedure, Dr. Drake takes the time to answer questions. During the procedure, he makes sure the patient is comfortable. His staff does an excellent job of letting you know how much each procedure will cost prior to scheduling the procedure. Dr. Drake and his staff are always caring and friendly. They will send texts, and emails, or will call if you prefer, to remind you of your appointments.

I needed to see a dentist quickly for an emergency. After contacting about 15 different dental offices, I only received a return call, text and email from the office manager at Dr. Drake's office. I contacted them in the afternoon, and they were able to see me the next day. Dr. Drake made me feel comfortable and took care of my issue quickly. He took time to talk to me about the issue, and made sure I understood everything. He also provided me with a detailed treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr. Drake! So personally I'm terrified of dentist always have been. But I can tell you from my own personal experience what a gentle and caring doctor Drake it. He's an extremely friendly and legit caring doctor who has called me personally to check on my after having a wisdom tooth removed. He runs a very nice and clean which is important dentist office. Ok you guys, listen up! All you that have a great fear of going to the dentist. Stop searching and go see Dr. Drake. My story is long and complicated but bear with me...to make it as short as possible... I had a couple of horrible experiences with the dentist starting when I was in 2nd grade. Those experiences created a very horrific fear of going to the dentist and I went years and years without going. I would only go when I had an abscess and had no other choice. Then the next time would be many years later, a different dentist and so on and so on. I would always find a different dentist each time because of embarrassment. Too many times I was scolded and made to feel 2 feet tall because I hadn't kept up with my teeth. I felt judged instead of supported. Then early this year (2021), once again I was needing help. I searched reviews everywhere. I came across Dr. Drake and read his reviews. I read about how they were accepting and understanding of the phobia and that they were sympathetic and nothing but supportive. So I went. Well let's just say that was the best decision I've made in a long time. Dr Drake is the best. And the ladies at the desk are always pleasant and greet you with a smile. Then everyone who helped work on my teeth was very gentle and calming. No fast pace, stressful atmosphere. Dr. Drake always tells you what is going to happen before he does it. He always stops and checks to make sure I'm comfortable and do not feel anything. And the best thing is...he did not make me feel judged. He understood. He only wanted to help me and I felt like he cared. They all do. The ladies all are so nice and gentle. I am still going in for more work done (some 7 months later) and I still get nervous, but I am no longer terrified to go in. Dr. Drake did an incredible job with correcting my newborn niece’s tongue & lip tie. He understood the emergent need from my sister and her husband, and took them in that very day. I watched as he preformed the procedure with his assistant, they were an amazing team. He was incredibly calm, extremely kind, and was truly an answer to prayers. Best dentist experience ever.

Dr Drake does excellent work! He also came in on a day when the office was closed and he was on vacation but I had a dental emergency, so he took care of my issue and my mouth has felt great since. The office staff is also very friendly and will work with you when life happens and you need to reschedule.

Simply put, Dr. Drake was incredible! My two day old daughter had bad tongue and lip ties which kept her from nursing ???? We were on the hunt for a quick solution and were met with scheduling multiple weeks out at every turn. No good! Through a miracle we found Dr. Drake’s office number and got right in same day. Let's face it, no one enjoys dental work, but a good dentist can make it as 'less terrible' as possible. Got three fillings done in 45 minutes, and even the numbing shots were relatively smooth going. For a generally unpleasant procedure, Dr. Drake made it as quick and painless as possible. Can't beat that.

I have been to many dentists in my 65 years. Not knowing that the best was a block away from me. Gentle and kind he knows how to treat the person before the teeth. I can’t say I enjoy having teeth pulled etc. but Dr. Drake made it easy and unstressed. If you are older and have had bad experiences at the dentist-come to Dr. Drake!!

I usually show up anxious, Dr Drake and staff are always kind and put me at ease quickly. The most painless experience I have ever had with any dental procedure, weather it be a simple cleaning or getting a filling. Can't say enough good things about them!

Dr Drake’s office is exceptionally thorough and does not try to add unnecessary dental work for extra pay, as previous dental offices have done with us. The office is clean and the staff are friendly! Great place.

2019 I was new to the area looking for an experienced dentist to manage my dental issues and concerns. After reviewing Dr. Drake's experience and talking with his great staff over the phone I made the decision to get established with Dr. Drake. Dr. Drake is compassionate, soft-spoken and very knowledgeable with his many years of experience. His office is immaculate and he has gone over and above what needs to be done to keep everyone safe coming and going into his office. Dentist is a SCAM ARTIST. I went in for a routine checkup and was told that I needed multiple crowns due to stress fractures. He tried using scare tactics, telling me my teeth could break at any minute which could cause more issues in the future. Alarmed at this information, and never having had any previous teeth issues in the past, I decided to get a second opinion. I’m SO glad I did. I went to another dentist in Kansas City area, and the other dentist told me that my teeth were in perfect condition, and that I had absolutely no stress fractures. The new dentist had no idea why Dr. Drake insisted I needed multiple crowns. Please, if you value your teeth and don’t want to be scammed out of money for things you don’t even need, GET A SECOND OPINION. I’ve had the unfortunate circumstances of needing a dentist throughout my adult life. Nobody likes to go to the dentist but from time to time we all need their help. Dr Drake and his staff are by far the most professional and caring people in the dental industry. Only briefly have I ever had insurance to cover my dental needs. I’ve been to over a dozen different dental offices over the years. And wether you have insurance or not I would recommend you visit Dr Drake and his staff. In my opinion I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Bottom line THEY ARE THE BEST IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE DENTAL BUSINESS. You can’t afford not to go to them. So give them a call and I promise you’ll be very satisfied with the outcome you receive.

Dr. Drake saw me for my first visit. He identified two cavities very early. He asked me if I wanted to have been taking care of that very day. He filled them so quickly and professionally I didn’t even need any pain medicine. His staff were very lovely and accommodating as well. All-around very professional and very nice.
