Dr Ehmke did a wonderful job on my hip replacement. Even down to my incision that has healed very well. If I had to, I would definitely use Dr Ehmke again. He also has a great bedside manner and seems to listen and actually care about his patients. Also the text messages were awesome!

Less than three weeks following right hip replacement surgery, I am walking up to two miles daily, mostly without a cane. My discomfort is minimal and my surgical site is healing beautifully. I am stable on my feet and fully independent. Thank you Dr. Ehmke and Team for your outstanding surgery and care.

This was a follow up for my 2nd hip replacement surgery with Dr Ehmke. Everything is going better than expected and healing very well and back to normal activities.

Excellent post hip replacement surgery performed and post op care and helpful staff

Having my left hip replaced by Dr Ehmke was a breeze. Very fast recovery. My pain is completely gone and have regained full mobility in my hip joint. The surgical center was exceptionally well staffed with friendly nurses and support team-

Dr Ehmke replaced my right knee. His overall pre-op, day of surgery, and post-op protocols resulted in a knee replacement experience that exceeded my expectations at the 6 week post-op point. All aspects of care were well managed and his staff was easy to deal with. A very well oiled machine!

It came as a bit of a surprise to me that my hip was as bad as it was. I thought it was back pain. Dr. Ehmke explained the situation, gave me options and I chose hip replacement. Surgery and recovery have gone smoothly. I’m 6 weeks into recovery. Dr Ehmke and staff use an app and texts. The app kept me on track with pre-op and post-op exercises as well the list of what I needed to be doing before the surgery from four weeks before surgery to the night before surgery. It also supplied what I needed to be doing post surgery. The texts came daily with reminders and motivation. There were also phone call follow ups. It felt like it was really important to the doctor and staff that the surgery and recovery go well and without incident and to catch any issue early. Very happy with my choice of surgeon.

The best. All staff and assistants of Dr. Ehmke are very professional courteous and understanding. I felt as if they were with me the entire Adventurel, questions were answered and explained with confidence. The physical therapist are most knowledgeable and work towards the needs of the patient, moving in the direction of recovery. Each and every visit with Dr. Ehmke and staff was a pleasure. Dr. Ehmke and staff have my 100 percent recommendation!!!

Had my right knee replacement done by Dr. Ehmke in June 2021 and it felt so good afterward, I realized how bad my left knee was. So I had that one replaced in December 2021. Both were out patient and robotic! I highly recommend Dr. Ehmke and his staff.

Dr Ehmke and his staff are exceptional. Had Anterior Hip replacement six weeks ago and I was home with a walker the same day... using just a cane in 3 days and now basically back to normal walking. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Ehmke. The surgery resulted in a much higher quality of life, with much less post-op pain than I expected. Ater a visit to Hinsdale Orthpaedics in April, I was planning to have a hip replacement sometime this year as outpatient surgery. It was done a lot sooner when I slipped, fell and broke my femur on a Sunday in early March. I had never been in the hospital or had major surgery so I it was scary and very painful. I am very fortunate and grateful that Dr. Ehmke was the surgeon available to perform the unplanned hip replacement the next day. He is very experienced, highly skilled and answered my questions in a way that instilled confidence. I had no pain after the surgery and thanks to an excellent at-home physical therapist and other therapists, I was walking without a cane after three weeks. I am very thankful for Dr. Ehmke, his staff and everyone who tended to me at the hospital. I will be back to riding horses and training dogs very soon.

My hip replacement took place with no complications and very little pain. My recovery has been good.

Can’t begin to express how happy I am with my results of my knee revision I had done 6 weeks ago. My physical therapist told me that he hasn’t seen anyone with this procedure done that has healed so quickly along with great mobility. Very professional, organized, and staff is very friendly.
