The appointment went well got new x-ray and got some necessary therapy to help me recover all okay

On January 13, 2023 I had an appointment at 8:00 am. I didn’t have to wait long before the nurse took me to the examine room. She was very pleasant. I had another appointment I had to be at in the morning so that is why I set up an early appointment. I waited for an 1 1/2 hours from the time I got there and Doctor Gleason had not shown up. I had to leave by that time for my other appointment. So I did not see Dr Gleason. As I left IBJ, I spoke with Mary Ann Palermo, who was the manager on duty, about how no one came into the examine room while I was there to tell me Dr Gleason was running behind schedule or to keep me informed. I said that my experience that day was “poor customer service.” I was hoping that someone from IBJ would have reached out to me afterwards about my concerns. To date no one has. Generally IBJ is pretty good, but this day they did not deliver their service as I expected.

Explained everything in detail, very knowledgeable, office is efficient and prompt. Also very attentive to Covid. Did an excellent job at all of the above!

Dr. Gleason is a patient and attentive physician. He addressed all my concerns in a polite and concise manner.

The staff from beginning to end of my visit was excellent. Alexandria who assists Dr Thomas Gleason was wonderful and very welcoming. I had met Dr Gleason when he visited me at Lutheran General Hospital but this was first time in his office. He’s amazing. Very thorough, explains everything and takes his time during the visit. I highly recommend Illinois Bone and Joint Institute!

I have been going to Dr. Gleason for the last four years. I always feel like I am getting the best care. He always takes time to explain everything and shows me the results of any MIR or other tests. Always listens to my questions and concerns. Also his support staff are always pleasant and helpful. I am in the best of hands.

I’m very happy with all that has been done. Over the years I’ve had back problems and double knee surgery. The surgery went without any problems And recovery, with the help of very encouraging and competent people. I continued therapy at IBJI FACILITY in Morton Grove. Fantastic people. I took my father today to see Dr. Gleason. His previous doctor has retired and IBJI set up an appointment with Dr. Gleason. My father was told to arrive 20 minutes before his appointment to fill out paperwork. Upon arrival we finished the paperwork and were told the doctor was running an hour behind schedule. A few minutes later another patient came up to the desk to see Dr. Gleason and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. An hour after his appointment time I went up to the desk to ask for an approximate time we would be able to see the doctor. We were told he was running late and they will check back with us in 15 minutes to give us an update. 30 minutes later we were told there hasn't been a change and the wait would be even longer. There 5 other patients who had appointments within 5 minutes scheduled to my father's. We left because we weren't given a concrete time to see the doctor. Dr. Gleason returned my call on Sunday afternoon. Surgery was scheduled for Thursday since I was in much pain. Pain relieved after surgery and he discharged me the next day. Grateful to him!

He made me wait for him for 4 hours before he saw me, and he is inpatient to listen my complain. He is the worst dr I had ever had. If you want a better dr, please go somewhere.

Dr. Thomas Gleason is a very compassionate and kind person..He took time with me to go over my MRI scans, thoroughly..Assisted me to the examination table, and off as well with care in all the steps involved in testing and treatment plan..Follow-up visits have been great as well..Thank you so very much ! Grateful to have you as my doctor..

Dr. Gleason is an excellent orthopedist with an amazing reputation. When I was in the hospital each department I was sent to for tests commented on what a wonderful doctor he was as did former patients of his who were medical people. When looking for an orthopedist I wanted someone who was really good, not necessarily someone who would sit and chat with me. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Not sure if it's the office or Dr Gleason himself, but I was hugely disappointed with my experience. I cannot speak for the doctor's expertise due to the fact that I was unable to see him. Upon waiting for an hour after my scheduled time, I spoke with the other patients in the waiting room and discovered that all had appointments within 5 minutes of my own, and all had been waiting for over an hour. When they called my name and placed me in a room, I waited another 30 mins before I left.

Dr. Gleason is the best knee and hip surgeon in the area. He is kind, efficient, and thorough. Dr. Gleason is well respected by the nurses and other staff members at the major hospital where he performs surgery. I have sent many friends to Dr. Gleason with the assurance they will be taken care of very well.

He is professional. Sent me to Physical Therapy both before and after surgery. I had NO pain from incision. Only problem was a reaction to a drug made me dizzy after surgery. No adverse reaction to procedure. Only problem is each office appointment started about 2 hours late.
