Dr Johnson far exceeded my expectations not only on my initial appointment and diagnosis, but even more on the followup. Since my eye condition (blood droplets in the eyeball) had cleared up, I expected the followup to be quick and cursory. It was anything but. He basically did another complete eye exam and went over everything with me to make sure I was completely informed about my condition. He was not rushed and answered every question I had in a way that was very easy to understand. He is very professional, thorough, and patient. I would recommend him highly for anyone seeking a retinal specialist.

I see him regularly every six week. He is a consummate professional. He explanations are easy to understand, and he displays a personal interest in his patient's well-being.

Dr. Johnson surgically removed a "macular pucker" from my R retina in 2014 and has inspected my eyes annually ever since. No ne problem has emerged since 2014. I feel that Dr. Johnson has done a superb job.

I was referred to Dr. Johnson by my ophthalmologist because I developed some indicators of incipient retinal degeneration. At the first visit his staff mapped my retina and Dr. Johnson thoroughly examined my eyes. Based on the exam, Dr. Johnson prescribed a benign course of action designed to nourish the retina and slow the onset of the degeneration. After 6 months my retinas appear stable.

I've been seeing Dr Johnson routinely for over seven years now and am confident I'm receiving the best of care. And he's just as pleasant and communicative as could be.

Dr. Johnson is one of my favorite doctors. He is an outstanding doctor in all respects. He knows what he's doing (excellent clinician, surgeon, and decision-maker). He is also the doctor who works really well with patients. He explains things very well, and it is clear he cares about his patients. When I needed surgery for a hole in my retina, he explained the procedure, why it was necessary, and what I could expect. He gave me an accurate understanding of what I was facing and I trusted him.
