Does he accept federal blue cross blue shield? Is he in the network? I never met him or been treated by him thus far. I was recommended by a good friend to see him.

I went in for a skin problem which 2 other doctors could not determine, and he immediately determined that it was shingles and gave me the medication. He is very kind, patient, and listened well, and explained my condition in great detail. Great doctor!!

I wish I have a option to give more then a poor he doesn’t not know how to talk I took my 6 year old for rash and scar on his leg and when he saw my son on his face he said you are a mess and said he doesn’t know what it is and recommend me to see child Dermotologist. The worst dr I have experienced in my life. Please don’t see him bcz he doesn’t know any thing!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Keahey for about 30 years. Over that span I have had several different issues, literally from the soles of my feet to my scalp, and he has been able to treat them all effectively. As a result I have come to regard him as something of a genius in his area of expertise.

Three appointments within one month for two unrelated skin problems. One was successfully treated immediately. The other was more serious, and was successfully treated over the course of a month. Dr. Keahey, his professional staff, and the office administrative staff were all excellent. I don't think medical care gets better than this.

Dr. Keahy's staff at Shady Grove is rude and incompetent. Avoid this office at all costs.

The office staff is horrible especially Jan who was very abrasive and rude when I didn't understand and needed something to be explained to me. I told her I had disability and didnt understand and to please explain to me and she said no that I should go elsewhere if I dont get it! Dr should know the staff is running off patients! I have insurance but my friend was going to pay cash for the visit!

Dr. Keahey was trained in London and at Univ. of Penn. He is best in his field.

I had been to this Dr. in the past for Basal Cell Cancer which he diagnosed and removed. About 9 months ago, I saw him for an area in my ear that was not healing and was scaly. It resembled the other skin cancer I had in the past. BUT, Dr. Keahey told me it was not CA without a biopsy, it was only eczema! Well I went back to him about a month ago and he said it was definitely CA and I had to go through the Mohs treatment for removal with another Doctor. There were complications to that procedure. None of that would have happened if Dr. Keahey had diagnosed it properly when I had it checked the first time.
