Dr.Kovack and his staff have always been very good to me…he is a very caring doctor and a great doctor

Dr. Kovack is an amazing surgeon ???? If you are experiencing rotator cuff or any shoulder issues he is excellent!!! Highly recommend.

I sustained a rare break in my right shoulder assembly. When the shoulder did not heal on its own, Dr. Kovack operated on my shoulder. After 6 months of PT and lots of rehab, my shoulder was like new. I was able to compete in high school sports and had successful seasons.

Not only is Dr.Kovack excellent but so is the staff!

Dr. Kovack is a professional,competent,skilled orthopaedic physician. I would recommend him based on the qualities stated but also because he cares. He will take time with you and listen. Most physicians do not listen. You can put your trust in Dr. Kovack.

2 weeks post op all is going well. Shoulder replacement, bicep tear reattached, and rotator cuff micro tear repaired

I went to see Thomas today and it didn't take long for him to figure out my issue. He gave me a cortisone shot and that is already working wonders and wrote a script for physical therapy. This was everything I needed as far as I know. Not often you get a medical issue addressed and fixed that quick.

He is a great listener to your symptoms and very caring. I am thrilled to call him my doctor.

I was having severe shoulder pain even after 2 previous rotator cuff repairs. I saw Dr. Kovack, and he recommended a total shoulder replacement. He explained the process, recovery, etc to me and I agreed. I had my surgery. Best decision I've ever made.

Dr. Kovack is a great surgeon and his interactions with patients is excellent. If you need rotator cuff surgery he is the best surgeon to choose.

Over the past 10 years my husband and I have seen Dr. Kovack for several foot and knee health issues. He is professional, giving explanations of surgeries and other concerns. His office staff is helpful and cordial. He is our go-to orthopedic physician.

Dr. Kovac has done 3 shoulder surgeries on me and I have always been grateful for his integrity and follow-up care. He doesn't "beat around the bush" and tell you only what you want to hear and I appreciate that in any medical professional.

Serious issues with the staff. I was suppose to get a joint injection, but I got a “tissue” injection instead. So much pain for over a month. No refund, no sorry, no nothing!!! Then I had to pay to go in so someone could tell me that it was injected incorrectly!!! Pass on this practice!!!

I found him to be kind, compassionate, and conscientiously focused on improving his patients' quality of life. The staff is also courteous and friendly as well. I am fortunate to live in an urban area of Ohio blessed with highly qualified medical specialists and major medical facilities of all types. For shoulder issues, I have chosen Dr. Thomas Kovack in Columbus because of his reputation for quality and excellence in the very highly specialized field of shoulder orthopedics. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but a friendly and engaging medical specialist, and a great communicator. What I appreciate most about Dr. Kovack is, that he does a very thorough medical assessment, explains the various options and alternatives in laymen's terms, and follows the patient every step of the way, from physical therapy and rehabilitation to recovery. My experiences with Dr. Kovack have always been great! He replaced my left knee 2 yrs ago and everything went quite well. I am now having a problem with my right knee which I am sure he will correct. He always explains my problems so that I understand and can make a good decision concerning my care. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Kovack with great confidence.

Dr. Kovack & his team are amazing. Answering any questions about pre/post op information that I had and my recovery has been great. Therapy has also been wonderful with helping strengthen my shoulder area.

I had a Shoulder replacement surgery in March. Dr Kovack explained the surgery very thoroughly and I felt very comfortable with the surgery. I am 8 weeks post op and doing great. I still have a little ways to go but I am thrilled with my outcome and it is truly miraculous that I am able to move my shoulder with no pain. I am doing Physical Therapy twice a week and super thrilled with my progress. I honestly wish I would have done the surgery years ago. I highly recommend Dr Kovack and I very pleased with my surgery and how the surgery went and my outcome.

Dr. Kovac repaired my shoulder. I chose him as he had great reviews and he did not disappoint. His staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

Minor tear of the rotator cup, great advice and direction. Dr. Kovack recommended a shot of cortisone and physical therapy to see if minor tear will heal on its own. Love the option of PT vs just jumping into a surgical repair.

He and his staff have been very helpful post-surgery as well as pre-surgery. The PT instructions provided were the most thorough that my doctor of physical theory has seen, she commented on.

Dr. K is extremely knowledgeable and has a great bed side manner. He was my ER doctor when I broke my hip and I have had no issues with my hip since that surgery. Sad that his area of focus has now changed, but very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. Hi

Dr. Thomas Kovac, did my surgery 15 yrs. old ago and he was amazing. But before he actually did my surgery. There was 2 doctors. that belong with Grant Hospital kept telling me it was just a simple spang and it will get betterJust keep it wrapped up and elevated. . So I got tired hearing the same BS when nothing wasn't getting better at all. So now I just called the office to make an appointment as a returning patient and learned that the office that's also new to me as well don't take caresource. And that's fine so I asked can I pay out of pocket to see the doctor to tell me why I'm having major problems with the same knee and the front reception tells me I don't think we take payment to see the doctor. Only Dr office I've been to where someone answers your call, or at least calls you back quickly - day or night. If I have any concerns, they have me come to the office so they can make sure everything is going well. Everyone in this office is wonderful!

I had a badly torn Labrum and Rotator cuff which Dr Kovak repaired in December of 2021. Surgery went well, communication was great from start to finish, and after 2 1/2 months of taking my therapy seriously I can share with you that my shoulder is already back to normal activities with no pain. Dr Kovack was a breath of fresh air. I felt like he was completely honest and not pushing any one treatment for my shoulder but really focused on helping me make the correct decision. I really felt like I could trust him.

I have seen Dr Kovack a few times for a shoulder and elbow surgery. He is very efficient, easy to talk to and did a great job with my shoulder and elbow both of which turned out like new. I highly recommend him.

Knee Pain it wears you down mentally over time and can be a distraction in your daily life. It doesn't have to be go see Dr Thomas Kovack and make a plan to change your Life.

I had questions about how to manage many medical issues as I get into old age, including many joints. Dr Kovack answered my questions and gave suggestions on next steps, when indicated. He was pleasant and helpful.

Dr Kovach is s top surgeon the best I’ve ever been to. What sets him apart he treats every patient like he’s a member of the family. After seeing other doctors with menu unsuccessful results God put me on the right path with Dr Kovach.

Dr. Kovack and staff have ALWAYS been very accommodating, compassionate, and genuinely sincere in their care and treatment following Robin's MAJOR surgery !! They have never failed to 'squeeze us in' to be seen, even when it is a last minute crisis situation !! He's THE BEST !!
