Tom took care of my late husband (he eventially died of Sepsis) and he was fabulous! I would recommend him to anybody!

Great Dr. Completely satisfied. Takes his time, talks to you, gives great advice. Mmy wife is a CVICU nurse of 30 yrs and worked with him and told me he was the guy I needed to see. Recommended!

Very through, friendly, compendent.

I had one visit with Dr. Lalonde and had some tests scheduled. A few days later I received a phone called with my results. This doctors office billed me for an office call when they only called me with my results. The phone call lasted 4 minutes and I didn't even speak with the doctor himself.

Dr. Lalonde has been my Cardiologist since 2004. He has performed 2 catheterizations and was my physician during a triple by-pass. Since then he has faithfully monitored my heart condition, prescribing medicine as necessary. He is more then the best in the Detroit area. He is the best period.

Dr. LaLonde is a very through, experienced and patient Doctor. He explains everything so by the time you walk out of his office you understand everything. He takes his time with you and answers all questions you might have. His staff is very organized and experienced. When checking out they supply you with all documents from your visit and any future appointments. They are very prompt and you never have to wait an unreasonable time to see Dr. LaLonde. My husband Steven is a patient of Dr. Lalonde. Steven has received the best care I have ever seen. Starting in the waiting room there is not much of a wait. The office runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Lalonde is top of his field as a heart specialist. Always kind and listens to all your concerns.

My visits are always satisfactory. Dr LaLonde always has time to answer questions and explain procedures. My only complaint is the telephone answering system which I find difficult to negotiate. I often get shut out and disconnected when a brief answer from a real voice would do nicely.

Excellent care. Attentive and concerned. Made very appropriate decisions.

Made a brutal call to try and open a healthy mans artery that was at 50% Went back and blew it open till the man died. 50% was fine. I don't care about age. The coroners said he was very healthy. He did not even ask the family if they wanted him to try and open it more. Shame.

Ego the size of Texas, astoundingly rude, and shamefully unprofessional reactive behavior as "punishment" for considering legitimate treatment options. I think we must have forgot to genuflect.

Dr. LaLonde is a profoundly caring, attentive and knowledgeable doctor. He's the best cardiologist I've had and I trust him completely. I'm so happy I'm his patient.

I am unsure why others have rated this Dr. poorly. My wife is a physician and trust his ability so much that she sends family members to him, high praise indeed. There is a reason why certain physicians are so busy. Convenience is not the only consideration of quality of care. I am very pleased with the care and treatment I received from Dr. Lalonde.

I lost confidence in his abilities as a physician and was forced to find another cardiologist. He limits his time for appointments and thus is not accessible to his patients. Decisions as to severity of issues, etc are left to the non physician staff.It is almost impossible to get in to see him if there is a problem or to get him on phone. The disrespect for patients from the front desk staff is very disturbing. They are staff is rude and inconsiderate. Their main concern is their convenience and how to best accomdate themselves, NOT THE PATIENTS. At my last and final appointment, I watched the front desk turn away elderly patients who came in due to problems with their heart or medicication, and were turned away because the doctor was 'busy' and they did not have appointments. So, there are non physicians in that office making decisions about a patient's 'emergency' and that is very scary.He could be the best doctor in the world but if he cannot find time to see and care for his patients, then he is useless.

There is a reason why he has been rated as a Top Doctor in Cardiology by Hour Detroit Magazine consistantly and is highly regarded by his peers. I have complete trust in him and would highly recommend him to other patients. Never have I felt rushed or uncared for. He is a no-nonsense doctor but is always willing to explain himself thoroughly to make sure the patient fully understands what is going on.
