About Thomas Allen Manning III
Reviews for Thomas Allen Manning III
Love Dr. Manning!! But whomever little Miss. Erica is that works under Laura, is very rude and doesn't need to be a "manger". Continuously hanging up in patients face, not wanting to helop, neither answer simple questions, because "they're on lunch". I didn't appreciate her service at all and will be getting connected with higher up. Thanks
The front desk staff person was very unprofessional in her conversation to another staff member because I went to the restroom after checking in as a new patient. I stepped out to let her know that I heard her comment and did not appreciate it. Dr. Manning wasn't very personable. I didn't feel like my concerns were addressed fully. I called today to inform the office manager, Laura of my concerns with the front desk person's comment and to let her know I wouldn't return as a patient. She apologized for the incident. Again, I won't return to see Dr. Manning. My experience was not a good one at all. I would not recommend this clinic for anyone looking to form a partnership with a dermatologist.
Dr. Manning did not evaluate me despite requesting a full body skin evaluation, did not look deeper into my skin and the condition it was in, only gave me two treatment options— neither of which i felt comfortable committing to due to prior medical conditions and was very uncomfortable to talk to. He also did not recommend other options or offer a referral to other doctors or professionals to help me. Overall a very poor experience and made me feel insignificant and untreatable. I cried because i was so frustrated with how i was treated at my appointment. I do not recommend dr manning. Quick and effective. Very educated and experienced dermatologist. Great service. Friendly staff. Good experience.
Dr. Manning and his staff were very professional. He was very concerned about my health issue and put my mind to ease as i begin my journey to treat my skin cancer. I will recommend him to anyone.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Manning for 10+ years now, he is a great doctor, after many failed attempts at other dermatologist offices, he knew exactly what my skin condition was. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Not very knowledgeable will never go back! He gave some steroid injections but he was not very knowledgeable. At all about research or my skin! Smh wouldn’t recommend anyone. He should go back to school or surrender what ever Paper that was given to practice
I went to Dr.Manning for growing moles and light spots in my face. He didn’t take the time to listen, act as if he doesn’t like his job. I honestly didn’t feel comfortable talking with him. His office just wasn’t welcoming. He needs a new profession. My new Dermatologist is way better! Would never recommend anyone too him...
First time patient. Very impressed with cleanliness and staff. Dr. Manning very efficient. He provided pre-screen and performed procedure on my lunch break. Much appreciated.
Not impressed. First visit and it will be my last. I will see Dr. Dewyer or Dr. Wayne next time I need an appointment there. Waste of time. I found him to be Dismissive and basically uninterested in my concerns. Like I was an imposition to his day. Zero bedside manner. He was in and out in 5 minutes tops...Sorry I bothered you w/ my abcess.
Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Manning. Very professional and takes great concern in treating me.

Talks down to you as though you don't know what you're talking about acts as though you don't know your own body and what changes it's been through
Dr. Manning seemed very bored with his profession. He was barely civil to me and gave me the impression looking at my skin was a great inconvenience for him. I've found another dermatologist and hope that he can find a profession better suited for himself.
This is my second time to use this facility. I was seen promptly both times. Dr. Manning was polite and professional. I had seen several other dermatologists for the first condition he treated with no results. Clearing it up has been slow, but it worked. Today, again prompt, professional service, explanation of procedures were clear and accurate. If you're looking for 'warm and fuzzy', Dr. Manning may not be to your taste; however, if your emphasis is professional and getting results, he does a great job. Professional, knowledgeable, explains thoroughly, goes about business, allowing time for questions.
Well I have been seeing Dr Manning for last 6-7 years. I don't do too many reviews but I was looking today because my last visit I noticed they are doing fillers and Botox injections and realized Dr Manning do the botox. Anyway I have never experienced the negative vibe come gm djust a
After reading previous comments, I almost cancelled my appointment. I'm very glad I didn't. Dr. Manning greeted me with a handshake and a smile. He was thorough in his examination and provided an excellent diagnosis. He asked questions about family history, time spent in the sun, etc. If I have any future skin issues, I would happily return to see Dr. Manning.

I was referred to Dr. Manning and as I always do, I looked him up online and honestly was a bit apprehensive given a lot of the reviews. My experience with him was great! He diagnosed my problem with ease and even joined in my sarcastic wit about having to be sent to him in the first place. So I found him to have a good sense of humor albeit a dry one.
Dr. Thomas Manning is rude, condescending and shows no concern for his patients. After suffering for 2 months with a blistery rash , I began getting a differnet rash as well. This one made my skin very tight and made it crack. So I am referred to him. My doctor beloved the blistery rash to be scabies. So I put that on my form. I had mono not long before and scabies is easier to contract and harder to fight when you have a low imnune system. he came into the room angry. Told me this was in ny head, refused to do a culture, said it was a bacterial infection, prescribed antibiotics ans sent me out the door. Guess what Dr. Manning... I didnt take the meds you prescribed. I went and acquired Ivermectin, began taking it and the blisters stopped. So it had to have been a parasite of some sort. Then the secondary rash worsened. I went to my PCP and he did a culture. Guess what Dr.Manning. ..it was fungal. No bacterial infection at all. Your ego is too big to allow you to be a good doctor. Learn humility and it will do wonders. Not only for you but for your patients. Dr. Thomas Manning is rude, condescending and shows no concern for his patients. I was a little nervous about going to see Dr. Manning because of negative reviews on Healthgrade I'd read, but my doctor had recommended him so I went. I'm writing this review because he was a GOOD DOCTOR. Warm and fuzzy? No, but that's not why I go to the doctor. He listened, answered my questions, did not make me feel rushed or belittle me. I will see him again in a year or sooner if I need to. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a Little Rock dermatologist!

We took our daughter to see Dr. Manning one time & we will never step foot back there again. That was a complete waste of time. He was completely dismissive, condescending, & did a very poor job of diagnosing the problem. The diagnosis we were given was eczema, & we were dismissed when we told him our son had developed the same rash & both had cleared up w/antibiotics. I don't know much about dermatology, but I do know that eczema isn't contagious & doesn't clear up w/antibiotics. Horrible.

I have never meet a more arrogant, condescending "doctor " in my life. Either he really is full of himself or he has very low self esteem. Maybe he was just trying to impress the young girl he had following him around taking notes. I could have overlooked the dingy, worn out waiting room and the rude staff had he been a decent doctor.

Do NOT waste your time with Dr. Manning. I have never experienced a Dr. as rude and condescending as this guy. I switched to Dr. Kagy who is much more knowledgeable and has a better bedside manner.

My husband and I both have had appointments with Dr. Manning. He was on time and very professional. We both had separate appointments on different days and are highly satisfied. We are making Dr. Manning our dermatologist of choice. We both recommend Dr. Manning.

Read several neg reviews about his bedside manner but didn't have that experience at all. He greeted me with a handshake, made good eye contact, & listened while I explained my complaints without interruption. He easily identified my problems & offered an array of solutions, taking into account my wishes while formulating the treatment plan. He is efficient, will definitely be on time. Short visits are the mainstay in outpatient care & the time constraint shouldn't reflect poorly on him. A+ Doc!

Dismissive of my concerns so much that I stopped telling him anything further. I will never return to this doctor.
Dr. Manning may be perfectly intelligent and capable of dx and tx . However, he is the most icy and detached physician I have ever met, and I have met a lot since I also work in a hospital. His manner was superior and defensive. He responded to several legitimate questions intended to gain information with well you can get another doctor if you would like response. Compassion, empathy and kindness are not his strong suites. His office staff and nurse/assistant were very nice and efficient.

Dr. Manning provided the best treatment for my psoriasis - after being to several dermatologists, he is the only one who took my condition serious enough to do something about it.
