Reviews for Dr. Thomas D Rosenberg
A man who pretends to know wisdom and speaks down on others is not a man at all. But rather a pathetic excuse for a man.
I saw Dr. Rosenberg for a chronic knee issue. It was the worst experience with a medical professional (if you can call him that) I’ve ever had in my entire life. I visited him with my Mom and sister who were both overweight at the time, but not severely so. He didn’t so much as look at my knee before laying into my Mom about how her daughter is “obese” and her son has knee problems because she has a crappy diet. My Mom is an amazing woman. I have a brother with severe epilepsy who my mother spends hours a day caring for, and as a result of putting everyone else before herself she was overweight. This arrogant prick didn’t know a damn thing about that though, and immediately assumed it was because she has no self control. I suffer from a branch of chronic fatigue called “POTS” which is short for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. I’m a very fit person and I was in the middle of football season at the time, 6’3” 170 lbs wide receiver. He decided that since it wasn’t my weight causing the problems, I was making them up, and told me I was “mentally weak”. I began to break down crying from anger/frustration, as I wanted to punch him in the throat but was restraining myself, when my Mom said something along the lines of “Bryson has a lot to deal with and is plenty mentally strong!” to which Dr. Rosenbitch responded “Not from what I’m seeing”. I stormed out at that point, Mom and sister in tow, and we headed straight for the nearest Wendy’s to engage as heavily as possible in the “American Diet” lmao. I ended up having to go to another doctor about my knee cuz all I learned from this nutcase is that there are no fat people in France (which is just about the farthest thing from the truth) and that women in some Third-World country live crazy long cuz they walk miles a day with water jugs on their heads (also not true, the average life expectancy in that country was 32, we later learned). I had an appt. with Rosenberg about a sore knee after retirement from full time ski instruction, his 1st comment when we met was "Boy, you sure haven't aged well". He then began to address everything but my sore knee. He may be a good "mechanic", but he should be replacing U joints in cars, not people's knees. VERY negative experience!!!!! What a joke! I was referred to this doctor by a friend, and I'm starting to wonder what I did to upset this friend. I have lived a very active lifestyle including eight years marching/running around in the military, plus an additional twenty plus years running. Needless to say my knees are shot, as well as my feet. I also recently was treated for cancer. Because of these issues I haven't been able to be active lately and have put on a few extra pounds. I spent an hour waiting in his exam room. When Dr. Rosenberg came in he started in on the "Standard American Diet" or SAD as he refers to it. He literally spent an hour with me and my wife talking about his diet, and how all health issues are tied to diet. After being asked "What about his knees" several times by my wife he spent 3-4 minutes looking at my knees then went right back into his spiel on diet. My knees were clearly an unwanted distraction for him, talking about becoming a vegetarian was much more important. He proceeded to scan my hand with his special laser to gauge my dietary health. This laser could supposedly detect vegetable sourced nutrients in the blood stream. I then received a book on diet "free of charge", which I'm sure was billed to my insurance company along with some supplements also "free of charge". I was then told to come back in four months to see if a change of diet had fixed my knees. I need a knee specialist, not a nutritionist. My wife is a nurse, and I'm not an uneducated slouch. There is no known diet in the world that can repair cartilage. What a joke! I was referred to this doctor by a friend, and I'm starting to wonder what I did to upset this friend. DR. Rosenberg, is in my opinion a very poor knee replacement doctor. His bedside manner is non-existant, if you do see him, which I didn't my whole hospital stay; my leg is crocked, and I would not refer him to my dog, as I love my dog too much. Also having to wait in the office to see him for 2 or more hours is ridiculous. My implant is too big on the bottom and too small on the top, so my knee moves back and forth, as confirmed by two other doctors. So please find another doctor for your knee replacement surgery. DR. Had ACL reconstruction surgery by Dr.Cooley. A sport injury.Top notch hospital and patient care. Fast recovery and minimal scar damage.
My Right knee was replaced with a Stryker Athletic Knee by Dr. Rosenberg in 2006. It has performed wonderfully. I have no restrictions in my activities and no pain. Thank you Dr. Rosenberg

Dr. Rosenberg did a wonderful job with the replacement of my husband's knees. We loved the Park City IHC, and the care he was given. It's been almost four years since the surgery, and everything is great with his knees.
