Lady I saw was nice but seemed unconcerned. Will not return because I had concerns regarding infertility after a year of trying so I had my blood work/ pap and ultrasound done to start. Was told I would get a call with results of the pap and blood in a few days. . They never called. Only after I left a bad review did I get a call with my results 3 weeks later. I was told my blood work was normal."in normal range".which is obsurd. I have a hormone imbalance which is why I needed proper blood work done. Normal range doesnt mean anything. They are clueless. My ultrasound came back with a ovary cyst as I made sure she knew Iv had a history of problematic cysts. My Pap came back abnormal also and they waited 3 weeks to tell me? That is just incompetent. Scheduled a colposcopy but later had to reschedule and so I called them several times with no answer..I left a message and never got a call back..that was 3 months ago. Unfortunately this place just didnt care to help and give the proper care I needed and never got the proper testing done. Never even mentioned my options. I obviously have issues that Im trying to resolve but I cannot do that properly without knowing whats causing it..without proper bloodwork and other testing. I was left hanging. No one cared. I really think my insurance has something to do with it because some woman leave great reviews?. If their care is so good to others why was my experience so poor? Being nice and informative got me no where Seems to be, unless you have good insurance and they get paid good you just dont get good care thats sad. There must be doctors out there that actually care regardless of how well they get paid for your visit that actually love their job to help and resolve medical attentions.

Very kind and informative team who provides quality care and who seems to care about the patient. Dr. Dara Som is very informative and explains things in detail. I'm satisfied with the care I've received so far.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! YOU CAN NEVER REACH ANYONE!! THEY DO NOT UPDATE PATIENTS WHEN DOCTORS HAVE LEFT & NEW DOCTORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED!! EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED! I WILL BE SWITCHING TO ANOTHER CLINIC ASAP! I CAN'T EVEN GET A PRESCRIPTION REFILLED! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!

Had a great experience. Staff was professional, place was clean and they really took care of us as patients.

You can never get a hold of anyone, no matter if you call first thing in the mornings, mid day or end of business day. This is ridiculous! And if you are lucky they answer the receptionist are very rude ????

I have tired to call them for weeks now. I was trying to schedule an appointment, but no one is picking up or returning my calls. My due date is close and I have not seen my obgyn for quite a while.

If you are in pain go to emergency room or walk in I need to see dr we don’t any appointment for you !! Really !!!! Don’t recommended

Hands down this is the worst place I've ever been to in my life. They mistreated my sister so bad! They are so disrespectful, uncaring, unprofessional, and just down right mean! They had nurses coming in apologizing for other nurses. Great care for over ten years. Yes, sometimes you have to wait. Bring a book, just in case. Other ladies may be worked in during the day because of an urgent need. Just be glad its not you.

Out of my almost 30 years of being a woman and multiple pregnancies, never have I had an OBGYN office ask me such personal and unneccessary questions about my life. The questions aren't necessary and they feel like data mining. Also, having had multiple pregnancies, I'm treated with an air of "why are you here". Scheduling staff is nice. They don't do their own ultrasounds, which seems weird for such a large company. It was my first pregnancy and they made sure my needs were their number one priority! First pregnancies are already scary as it is and the UTOBGYN center as well as everyone working in labor and delivery made sure I had nothing to be afraid of. So thankful for each and every person who’s helped me on my journey to motherhood there. If you’re having a baby, please go to Saint Thomas and use the UTOBGYN Center as well for prenatal appointments. You’re pregnancy experience will be 10x better! Best Dr. I have ever been to. He is compassionate, caring, attentive, & made my pregnancy and child birth experience amazing. I wasn’t just another patient. His faith in God is evident and I know God placed led me to him during a difficult time in my life to get the best care I could have gotten.

BEWARE! Very poor customer service and dishonest practices! Unfortunately, after years of having my mammograms done at St. Thomas Midtown (formerly Baptist, which was MUCH better run) , I will now be seeking another provider. In addition to agreeing with comments of others about the general atmosphere of scheduling in as many people as possible (and this is not a commentary on the technician who performed scan, as she was fine)--the attitude toward service to patients is appalling. I have been waiting for someone to call me back as promised for weeks now, after at least 6 different calls to the billing office and the office that handles scheduling (all with lengthy wait times and being passed to different people). I scheduled a normal mammogram in February. Shortly before the appointment, I received a call from the Center for Breast Health to ask if I wanted to change that to a new technology they had available--a 3D mammogram. I asked if that would be covered by my insurance and if it would cost more--they already had all of my insurance information. I also asked what they would recommend, and they recommended having the 3D. The person who called me told me not to worry, that if my insurance did not cover the difference, they would not charge me for the difference. After the service was performed, I received an EOB from my insurance and a bill for the provider. They charged me for the difference, as the carrier (BCBS) only pays for the regular mammogram, not the 3D. Had St. Thomas not represented to me that they would not charge for any difference not covered by insurance, I would have stayed with regular mammogram. I also received a bill from the radiologist engaged by St. Thomas who read the report for the 3D mammogram and charged additional charges related to the fact that it was 3D. The reason I am so upset is that they actually took the time to call me--clearly as a part of some type of campaign to push the 3D vs regular (I am sure I am not the only one who was contacted)--and now I cannot get anyone to take the time to actually resolve this issue---it is really the principle of the thing more than simply the additional cost. Unfortunately today the St Thomas Center for Breast Health continues the cycle of disappointment from this Hospital. Ladies and Gentlemen do your research before entering these doors. The general feeling here is assembly line. If you are looking for personal and informative care, keep looking. It's sad that I need to leave this review but patients need to know before coming here that you will be treated as a billing number. Doctor JT Thomas is very professional and has a very good bedside manner. He was very thorough and making sure I had the proper testing done before he recommended a treatment for my terrible hot flashes. I was quite miserable. He was very kind. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I can't even begin to say enough good things about these people and Dr. Barrnett taking care of my daughter 21 Diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3 He is a God Sent for her Thank U so much???? They know their stuff ????

It was a BLESSING I came across Dr. Thomas through a friend of mine. Best doctor ever! So sincere, so caring, so knowledgeable for my twins pregnancy/delivery. Wish all doctors were like him!! God bless him and his family always!!

Best doctor ever! Very trust worthy! Very sincere!

Absolute best doctor I have ever had. I have been seeing him for about 6 years now. He delivered both of my daughters and has also seen me through multiple miscarriages. He truly cares about his patients and shows compassion and doesn't just see them as a paycheck. I have never had a dr. who took the time to get to know me as well as he did and to make me feel comfortable. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I just found out he is moving to another state and am completely devastated. He will be leaving some other doctor some BIG shoes to fill. I can't imagine finding another ob/gyn who will live up to Dr. Thomas' care. Me and my family will miss him tremendously! Can't praise Dr. T. enough!
