Dr Weiters and his staff explain everything and he is painless! Barely felt a thing during the entire quick vein procedure. Very professional and taking Covid precautions very seriously.

I have been amazed and heartened by Dr. Wieter's diagnostic and procedural skills and acumen. I brought him two clot-damaged and previously treated legs that were routinely swollen and ulcerated, preventing me from hiking and hunting. Amidst the Covid 19 pandemic, he and his staff have given me back proper circulation and function without swelling or pain. He is empathetic, encouraging and takes time to explain, follow-up and cultivate his staff to emulate his example. Dr. Wieters is a prince among physicians. I felt they were very kind, thorough, and most importantly conservative....this is not a mill vein doctor like many. They took their time and explained everything to me on a level I could understand and very happy. I drove an hour to see this doctor based on others reviews....glad I did.

Dr Weiters walks you through the whole process to make you feel comforable. Very happy with the results.

I have had a great experience with Doctor and office staff . I agree those 1 star people are people no one can please.

This practice is one of the most caring and professional in the Charleston area. I have been seeing Dr Wieters intermittently for over 15 years. Dr Wieters is a knowledge and compassionate care provider and I would highly recommend him.

Dr Wieters was very thorough in explaining the vein procedure. I went to another place first and was told my veins were very complicated and I needed to have them stripped, resulting in being put under general and 7 days of intense pain. Dr. Wieters said that that type of procedure isn't done anymore. Basically, they were trying to get more money out of me/my insurance and put me in pain. I am so happy I went for another opinion. I’d give this practice no stars if I could. Dealing with the front office staff was the worst experience ever. The receptionist hung up on me and wouldn’t answer my questions about their questionable billing practices. I’m convinced they owed me a refund but wouldn’t discuss it.

I'm not sure about this 1 star review from that person below because Dr. Wieters and his staff are amazing. Of all of the doctors that I've had appointments with over my life, Dr. Wieters was the most helpful and informative. I have my first procedure next week so I'll follow up on my review but, thus far, amazing doctor and amazing staff! UPDATE: 7 procedures later and my opinion is still the same! After having to reschedule due to both family travel and for jury duty, their receptionist/wife of the doctor decided that she would just hang up on me. Not professional and more qualified doctors in the area worth doing business with.
