Everything went great!

I was supposed to have surgery done on my hand to see what was wrong w it. They told me they would have to call in a plastic surgeon. And then this clown shows up to look at my hand, supposed to b one of the best plastic surgeons in the area. He was very rude and his attitude was horrible, so horrible I ended up walking out of Dominican hospital without being discharged, chancing losing my hand. He may b well received as a surgeon, but his attitude is not even worth the aggravation. I was supposed to have surgery done on my hand to see what was wrong w it. Dr.. Yen did my tummy tuck a few years back, since then I have had another baby and it still looks great! Highly recommended!

After being diagnosed with DCIS Breast Cancer, making the decision to amputate both breasts due to my young age, I could not have found a better team than Dr. Jessica Sanitllano (general surgeon) and Dr. Thomas Yen. Dr. Yen is generous with his time, thoughtful with his answers, and puts a lot of decisions in your own hands. He operated on me a total of three times, and saw me a number of times in the office, and each experience gave me the impression I was under the care of the best in SC.

I am very thankful for Dr. Yen's medical interest in my cancer case and in his personal compassion. He and his staff are very friendly and want to help their patients. He is willing to answer any and all questions without time constraints. He performed my surgery, and recommended me to another specialist because he felt my continuing treatment was out of his realm. I would recommend Dr. Yen to family and friends. Thank you!!!

I have seen Dr. Yen twice--once for a dog bite to the face and once for a broken metacarpal. The dog bite healed very well and is now barely visible. The broken metacarpal was a tougher fix, but Dr. Yen did a great job. He perfectly placed two pins in the broken bone and let it heal for 4 weeks. Once he removed the pins, Dr. Yen sent me to an OT who took great care of me during my recovery. I quickly regained full mobility in my once-broken hand and the sites where the pins once were are barely visible. Dr. Yen is precise in his work and cares about his patients.
