Dr Badwey took great care in explaining my ankle issues to me. I appreciated his thorough treatment plan to avoid surgery and with the exercises and brace my ankles are finally on the road to healing!

Dr. Badwey is an excellent physician. He explains procedures and directions clearly and thoroughly. He makes sure I understand everything, always asks if I have any questions, and listens patiently and attentively when I do. His "bedside manner" makes me feel like I have his complete attention during appointments. My foot is healing well under his supervision and care and I would (and have) recommend him to anyone needing foot or ankle surgery.

Excellent Doctor

Dr. Badwey performed surgery on my husbands foot back in 1996 due to tendonitis. First he wore a brace with a special boot and lots of therapy before the decision was made for surgery to fuse the foot. So he try’s very hard to avoid surgery as his last option. My husbands foot pain was resolved all these years and now he started having pain in the muscle behind his ankle, Achilles and after Dr Badwey took a thorough exam and X-rays he determined he had a torn Achilles and ordered an MRI to determine what his options are. I don't typically leave reviews, but felt the need to give Dr. Badwey one. So many orthopedics are quick to cut, but Dr. Badwey wasn't that way at all. He explained everything in detail of why I had the issue I had, what I needed to do to help my issue before surgery and also what the process would entail, if I chose to do surgery and of course the recovery time. Surgeons only make money when they do surgery, so the fact that he told me to go home and think about it and call his nurse if I had any further questions was amazing!!!! No bad mouthing of other doctors, staff or other patients, screams character and integrity. I chose to see him at the plaza office and everyone from the front desk and beyond was above average. If you have foot or ankle issues, don't hesitate, schedule an appointment to see him now! I have no idea the cost of my surgery, when I choose to schedule it, but I would pay out of pocket if insurance didn't cover a drop of it. My visit with Dr. Badwey went very well. I found Dr. Badwey to be very professional with considerable expertise. In dealing with my little problem, he took probably more time than necessary examining my issue, explaining why I developed hammertoe, and gave me an exercise to prevent further problems with my other foot. The Dr. didn't seen to be in a hurry and his full attention was on my issue.

Doctor badway did surgery on my severely injured ankle 26 years ago. Just recently started having issues with arthritis in that area. Doctor badway knows his stuff, and will be doing any and all surgeries on my ankle if required. I believe him to be one of the best.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Badway. He is an outstanding surgeon who truly cares about his patients. He has preformed two surgeries on me and one on my daughter, all with wonderful results. He takes a vested interest in his decision to operate as well as the care he gives throughout the recovery. Dr. Badwey was my last effort in trying to find out what was wrong with my foot and what could be done to fix it. His bedside manner put me at ease. He took his time explaining things and took the time to let me ask questions and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. I’m glad I found him.

I have been seeing Dr. Badwey for about two years. I had major ankle reconstruction in December, 2019. I have never been disappointed in my appointments with his office. They get you in if you need to be seen, have very little waiting time in the waiting area, are courteous and knowledgeable and above all friendly. Dr. Badwey has exceeded my expectations. I was referred by my regular ortho Dr. since Dr. Badwey specializes in ankles. He prepared me well as to what to expect with this surgery and was correct at every point. He informed me too, that he hoped to alleviate 90 of my ankle pain. To date, I have NO pain. I would highly recommend him, or his office, to anyone needing help with their ankles. Dr.Badwey & Team have been extremely diligent with my case. I shattered my ankle & broke my tibia. This was the most painful injury I’ve ever had in my life. The team & Dr were quickly able to assess the severity & go into an action plan immediately. 2 surgeries in the span of a month & half. A lot of care was taken into effect to monitor progress & advise based on milestones we set during our consults. So far, the plans worked amazingly, everything is aligned & healing beautifully. We still have a bit of ways to go but out of the pain window & in the recovery/rehab portion of things. I love that his team is very reliable whether it’s a partner doctor, Tracy, front desk or X-Ray techs. Everyone is genuinely concerned & eager to see your journey through. Consummate professionals & highly competent. I highly recommend them as they’re probably the most experienced orthopedic/surgical team in the area & it shows. He really takes the time to listen and understand my needs and Tracy returns calls quickly always with the easiest resolutions!
