Did a partial hip replacement on my brother, very little scar, wonderful job.

Are you guys crazy. My husband is now on disability due to that Dr Ekpo operating on him. He definitely is not a good Dr. He smiles and is very nice because he's getting your money. But you don't tell someone they can go back to full work duties after 3 weeks of surgery. 4 years later my husband is in excruciating pain. We will go back to that doctor. NEVER!!! This office is great- never had any problems with getting questions answered. Had total knee replacement done in May- and am back to doing what I like. Definitely would highly recommend Dr. Ekpo for any replacement surgery.

One of the best physicians I have ever had. He is kind, patient, listens to you and is a top notch surgeon. He did my total knee replacement and treated me for a sprained ligament. I really like him.

He does not rush when he talks to you. He makes sure you understand everything and does what he can to take pain away and ease your mind. One of the best doctors out there.

I went in with a replacement knee that was 10 years old caused alot of pain.Dr Ekpo did nuclear images and found my knee had moved and was cIsing paid.within 6 -8 weeks I had revision surgery. It been 2 weeks since the knee replacement and im a 4 on pain except for physical therapt times and times i do alot. .I am happy with my new knee thank you Dr ekpo and all your team .???????????? Very nice and polite, takes his time with you and listens and it's just a good all-around doctor

In the 1 1/2 years going to his office I seen him once. In my opinion the staff didn't know how to give shots. When I questioned it and asked to see the Dr. I was put off. They do not use ultrasound which would've helped when giving the shots emencely. On top of that they stopped giving Supartz shots! It was time for me to go.

I had knee replacement surgery with Dr Ekpo. Ibegan having issues of increased pain and swelling within a month. I was seen and told that pain was normal.ifelt I was not listened to. When am xray was finally done, it showed a displaced kneecap. Dr Ekpo had injured his own knees and I had to wait,in pain, while he healed, before it was surgically repaired. Within a couple of weeks, my knee became more painful and again, I was not listened to. My primary care physician sent me to an infection and infusion clinic, where I was given daily antibiotic IV treatments for 14 days. My knee felt a bit better but it never felt good. I returned to Dr Ekpo, I continued to say my knee was painful. Again.I was not listened to. Finally there was anuclear scan done which showed that the knee implant was loose in my leg! I am still in very severe pain, and I have chosen not tio have Dr Ekpo operate to replace this knee. While Dr Ekpo is a nice man, I question his expertise at this point. Don't go here!

Dr. Expo is very knowledgeable. I think I have finally found someone after that knows what to do with my knee pain as I have had constant pain since my knee surgery which was done by a different physician. He is very personable; you can’t help liking him. GREAT DOCTOR!

He and his team are exceptional. My surgery went very well as did my total Knee Replacement Recovery!! Recommending him to all my friends with any joint issues!

He was supposed to do a complete knee replacement. Without my permission he did a partial. Surgery did not work. A year later another surgeon who is more experienced removed partial and did a complete replacement.

I did tons of research for best doctor's for hip replacement..this gentleman by far was amazing .i could go on and on..he was the most informative doctor, and caring person I have ever met..I will never forget him, and his team for the rest of my life...Thank you Dr Ekpo...

He is the most amazing doctor at not only his surgery skills, but his personal skills as well!! He calmed my nerves even with my complications I knew were going to arise and now he will be replacing both my knees! I hope they go as well!! To be continued!!

He's very respectful great bed side manner. Did a great job. Will sit with you too answer any questions you have. Would recommend him to anyone that is in need of a hip surgeon.

Dr. Ekpo could not be more awesome! Calmly explained procedure and decreased my anxiety...he is intelligent, easy to talk with, often smiling. Just such a nice man...hope he stays in Jackson, we are very lucky to have him.

One and a half years ago he did a total right knee on me. Veryrespectful attentive kind and caring. I was very nervous but his kind caring nature put me at ease and surgery was very successful. I am having my other one done this month. Thanks to him and his outstanding staff I'm going be a new woman. Highly recommended..... Praising God for you and your care team

I had emergency surgery with Dr. Ekpo and received the best care I have ever received in a doctor. Very professional and his attention for well being of his patients his excellent! He is an amazing surgeon & I look forward to continuing all of my care with him. I highly recommend Dr. Ekpo to anyone looking for the best medical surgeon they could find. Look no further this is the surgeon you need!!!!!

He was the most easily approachable doctor I've had. He made it easy for you to talk to him, and he wasn't all "by the book" lingo. I loved him and wish I had went to him sooner, like before my hip replacement because I would have chose him to do it! :)
