We love and have had all the faith in the world in Dr. Saunders! My Son had a stoke at birth and has cortical vision impairments that only the best of the best has the knowledge and understanding to get it right every single time! God bless him and his whole family!

When it comes to the challenges with my vision, I always leave confident Dr. Saunders has my eyes in as good a shape as possible.

Dr Saunders and his staff are wonderful. I have been a patient for many years and always had the best professional care from Dr. Saunders he takes his time to evaluate the problem an then resolve the problem.

I went to Dr. Saunders to have strabismus surgery and one of my eyes. I had strabismus surgery on it it many years ago when I was a young teenager and it had drifted back and my eyes were terrible looking to me because they were not even close to being lined up. But I went to Dr. Saunders he does great work he has an awesome personality in bedside Manor I guess you say but the main thing now is my eyes are straight and all because of Dr Saunders I was a 60 year old female when he did my surgery a couple years ago and he is one of the few people one of the few doctors in the area that actually does what’s called the re-do for strabismus & he was able to straighten my eyes up and I would do it all over again if I had to with Dr Saunders I cannot give him anything less than a five stars he is an amazing person and an awesome awesome ophthalmologist I went to Dr. Saunders to have strabismus surgery and one of my eyes. Dr. Saunders have seen my son since he was four years old. It has been 6 years now, and Dr. Saunders has always been very thorough checking past tests, MRIs, eye exams; very patient and kind. Dr. Saunders is the best!

Dr Saunders is truly exceptional. As an epilepsy patient having a doctor with his knowledge has been life changing. My eyes have been a problem for 37 years. No one had been able to improve my vision like Dr Saunders. He takes as much time as is needed to find a solution. Dr. Saunders is the absolute best... he repaired the 4th optic nerve in my right eye seven years ago... today, at 71, I still have 20/20 vision... don't know where I would be today without him!

Dr. Saunders was very responsive to my many questions and reassuring, but also realistic about what was possible for correcting my double vision after a difficult retinal detachment surgery. Dr. Saunders is wonderful... really professional, yet friendly and personable. And clearly he's as knowledgeable and effective as they come. CEENTA is far superior to my previous ophthalmologist office, with which I was unhappy (Horizon Eye)-- much more thorough, knowledgeable, clean and safe. Before seeing Dr. Saunders, my vision was degrading quickly and I was without much hope... now I look forward to seeing him (only once a year now) and feel like of all the problems I have, my eyes are not one of them. Dr Saunders has been wonderful with us as we’ve had to deal with my son’s eye issues. He performed his surgery recently and was very insightful, skilled, and caring throughout the process. We are very glad to have been referred to him.

Dr. Saunders has seen my son, since my son was two years old. He successfully fixed some problems early on with surgery. He also checks my son’s eyes for any diabetes complications now. The office is always professional and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Saunders to anyone!

No parking, waited in line in to get to Kiosk for 10 minutes, machine hung up then the staff said they cancel appt if 15 minutes late. Took 2 months to get appt. They would not even try to work us in!

Takes his time with special needs children. He has always done well with my daughter who has complex special needs. He also explains everything in terms that are easily understood! Would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Saunders is the most thorough, knowledgeable, and professional Neuro-Ophthalmologist I’ve had... his staff is always professional and friendly. I have very light blue eyes and they always remember to dilate my eyes with the lowest % drops. Dr. Saunders is so good it’s hard to get an appointment so, when you get one make sure you go because it may be 8 or 9 months before you can get another. Dr. Saunders is an extremely amazing, and professional Neuro-Ophthalmologist. He has been my childrens physician for about 10 years now (since oldest was 1). But has been treating my sister for longer. He is very skilled at what he does, his knowledge is great and always explains what has/needs to be done very persis! Very patient with children and those with special needs as well. I highly recommend him, he is one of the best ophthalmologists that southpark has left as other have retired. He is always booked! My son, Nolan, has been seeing Dr Saunders since he was 4 months old. He is now 13. Dr Saunders was highly recommended to us by several physicians. We have received nothing but exceptional visits from the staff and doctor himself. Nolan recently had eye surgery (4 days ago) on both of his eyes. The surgery was thoroughly explained, all questions were answered, the surgery went as expected, and Dr Saunders’s office has called everyday to check on him and to see how he was recovering and if we had any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Dr Saunders and would travel longer than the hour it takes to get to his office, if needed be. We went today for a follow up appointment and was there less than 30 minutes. He answered our questions again and explained the healing process of his surgery and how everything is looking really good and healing quite well. Dr. Saunders is outstanding. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and really cares about his patients. I have a rather complicated eye issue that requires the use of prisms in my glasses. A lot of times doctors may want to rush immediately into surgery and bypass the more conservative approach, but Dr. Saunders took the route of being patient with the approach and leaving surgery as a last resort, which I greatly appreciate. He was able to nail the prescription on the first visit and my quality of vision is back to a much more comfortable level. Even with my yearly checkups, Dr. Saunders continues to take his time during the visit and address any and all concerns. I cannot imagine going to any other doctor. He is the best! Very frustrating office, they make you wait more than one hour for the doctor to see you, even when you are early to your appointment. I really need a new ophtalmologist ASAP

I would not recommend this practice or physician to anyone. The wait time for an appointment is ridiculous, over 2 hours for (not even a new patient appointment) and not even an appointment which involved dialaion. If you enjoy being talked down to, and 5 min of face time, with unfriendly nursing and support staff , then you have come to the right place. They are over booked and underserved and it clearly has an impact on staff morale. I would not recommend this practice or physician to anyone. He was very thorough with my special needs daughter. Very impressed with the due diligence and thoroughness of his eye exam with my daughter. Very pleased.

While I agree that the office isn't the friendliest, there seems to be a lot of turn over, & the waits can be long, Dr. Saunders himself is a great physician & surgeon. I trust his advice. He's quiet but thorough. He cares about his patients and is conservative with surgery. He's performed 2 of my son's 3 eye surgeries. I've learned that when it comes to ophthalmologists, a good one is worth the wait.
