This dental practice is like no other, with a team that's equal parts skilled and hilarious. Not only do they offer top-notch cosmetic dentistry services, but their restorative dentistry and oral surgery skills are also on point. I had some major work done and the team at Ghotanian Dental made it a breeze. They were cracking jokes left and right, which definitely helped calm my nerves. I have to say, I was impressed with their state-of-the-art facilities too. The latest technology and equipment helped ensure the best possible care, which made me feel great about my decision to go to Ghotanian Dental. Overall, I can't recommend this dental practice enough. I recently had a visit to Ghotanian Dental Toluca Lake for an emergency dental service and I can say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The dentist, Dr. Ghotanian, was extremely professional and highly experienced in Oral Surgery - yay! He worked quickly and efficiently, providing top-notch care. From start to finish, my experience with Ghotanian Dental Toluca Lake was nothing short of phenomenal! I give them 5 stars without hesitation - the service is outstanding and their prices are incredibly reasonable. If you're looking for a great dentist and Oral Surgeon, this is the place!

I would avoid this practice if at all possible. I was referred by a friend when I moved to the area, and the only positive thing I have to say about the experience is that Dr. Ghotanian and the hygienists were friendly. Yelp is full of reviews with experiences similar to mine, so it surprises me that there are none listed on Google. First, I waited for about a half hour past my scheduled appointment, due to "issues with our system." I was taken into the X-ray room, and these had to be taken multiple times, due to "issues with the system." Finally, I was seen by a hygienist who told me I needed a "deep cleaning". Never before had any dentist offered any indication that this could be necessary in the near future. Dr. Ghotanian came in for a minute to confirm that I had no cavities, but would need a deep cleaning on a future visit. And that was the end. I was blown away. There were more communication issues after that with the insurance pre-approval for the deep cleaning, which again got blamed on "our system." My favorite part was when I later checked my insurance's explanation of benefits for the visit, and they had been billed for a full cleaning, which never happened. The whole experience didn't feel right, so I went to another dentist in the neighborhood, who said everything looked great, and a routine cleaning would suffice. No multiple visits, no expensive, invasive procedures. I've since moved and gone to a new dentist twice, with the same comments. I remain utterly confused and disappointed by the entire experience with Dr. Ghotanian's office. I would avoid this practice if at all possible. 2 stars for Dr. Tina Ghotanian because she’s a nice and professional dentist. The office staff however, is not. Last October, I called to confirm MY OWN appointment only to find out they lost my appt (which I had scheduled work off in advance). Frustrated, I tried to reschedule only to get hung up on over 3 times. Apparently, they were having internal phone issues which is understandable, but the receptionist attitude with me was nasty. Fast forward to my most recent appointment. As I was checking out from my cleaning, I asked the receptionist how much Invisalign typically costs (there is typically a range since it’s not a one size fits all treatment). She acted so annoyed and responded “it’s going to be at least 5k” and spoke to me in a way where she was almost implying I couldn’t afford it, I was so offended. That was my final straw with this office. 1) I can afford Invisalign, me asking for a price range is totally acceptable 2) I don’t understand why a receptionist at a dental office needs to be giving a patient attitude. 3) 5k for a simple Invisalign treatment for someone who has already had braces is actually outrageous. Anyway, I just chose a new dentist and orthodontist where I spent $2100 (my portion, not including insurance) for my Invisalign treatment AND they have a gorgeous, modern, up to date office where Dr. Ghotanian’s office is seriously lacking. My friend just went to this practice for teeth cleaning, see her invoice attached. Her insurance paid for 80% off the treatment. THE TOTAL IS 20% she has to pay OUT OF POCKET! Which came to $300 for teeth cleaning (that's what 4 charges of $72 are for). The total for teeth cleaning without insurance would be $1500 for simple teeth cleaning. Are you kidding me???? Dr. Ghotanian is a fantastic dentist and her office/staff are wonderful. My husband and I have been going there for several years now. We rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes and dental work is very gentle. She's the best dentist I've ever been to.

Just like my teeth, I like to know that the same individuals will be in about the same places in six months. Last year when I first started with Dr. Ghotanian and her staff, I was coming from a corporate dental facility that, ironically -- since they kept using "smile" in their marketing and advertising -- left you leaving their "care" scowling and howling. When I finally found a good dentist at that corporate place, she was assigned to this facility and that at some CEO's whim and they couldn't even get my records and X-rays over to wherever she was working so that I could complete my dental work with her. AND THE WAITING TIMES TO BE SEEN WHERE HORRIBLE! Dr. Ghotanian's office is small, friendly, warm, and FILLED WITH FAMILIAR SMILING FACES! Dr. Ghotanian's expertise is up to parr with the excellent dentist I lucked out in finding at the corporate place, BUT SHE'S GUARANTEED TO BE WHERE SHE IS SINCE IT'S HER OWN PRACTICE! Additionally, Dr. Ghotanian's billing specialist has no problem with explaining why things cost what they cost and offers, too, alternatives in materials and/or appointment timing to reduce the patient's out of pocket costs! Dr. Ghotanian is great, and her office staff is very helpful. I love how quiet and private it is. They are speedy & professional. It feels great to find a dentist I can see myself going to for years to come.

I've been here 4 times now and as much as I HATE the dentist, it's pretty quick (never waited more than 15 minutes in waiting room), there are TVs in every room for distraction, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
