1/30/23 had appt. Scheduled with Dr McCall waited over 30 days for appt. they had my MIR from Halifax health which said I have an torn rotator cuff well as we’re driving they call & say Dr. McCall looked & wants Dr. Matthews to see me & they will get back to me 9:15 as of 4:20 no call so we call & they say we may be able to get a appt. In mid March??? We will find someone else

Very professional and Dr. McCall and his PA were genuinely concerned about diagnosing my problem and finding a solution.

Dr McCall performed a total hip replacement which was my only major surgery. His practice was very accommodating to allow me time to decide on the procedure without any pressure. Once the decision was made the office scheduled a date and prepared me for what to expect in a joint class prior to surgery date. Surgery was performed as an outpatient at East Coast Surgery Center who I also highly recommend. Aftercare was efficient and seamless with home nurse and physical therapy visits. My assigned nurse Michelle was always available for any questions. My follow ups have been smooth and positive. Highly recommend DrMcCall and staff at Orthopedic Clinic of Daytona Beach.

I fell and broke my wrist and hip last year, and I recently fell again and thought I re-broke both. This week his staff squeezed me in to check for new damage. The doc and his staff have been fantastic at every encounter.

While the office was quite busy and probably a bit backed up, when it was my time Dr. McCall and his team spent appropriate time with me and fully explained my upcoming surgery. My experience with Dr. McCall and the Orthopaedic Clinic of Daytona has been nothing but positive. I truly know I am in capable hands with Dr. McCall and his team.

So Thankful that I got Dr. McCall and his team when I got admitted to hospital when I broke my leg . It been 2 months since it happened.. Got the date yesterday at his office June 30th I'll be able to put weight on my leg when I see the team.. Always answers your questions and reminds me put No weight on it and why not too..

Long wait times in the lobby, but once you're seen the medical personnel are professional and caring.

This Ortho Clinic has a Great Staff. The are Friendly and Courteous. They will Assist you in any way they can. They are very knowledgeable and will put you at ease. Dr. McCall is attentive, and will Explain Everything. Well Done Keep Up The Great Work.

Very Professional. I like that he asked me whether I wanted surgery. He explained that at the moment it was not necessary because I have a hard cast on and we’re going to see if that will take care of my arm. Most doctors want to do surgery.

Dr. Mcall is a very caring and knowledgeable Doctor. I have been to him on 2 different occasions and his conservative approach is so appreciated. I have also had my son there years ago with sports injury’s and he was emailed from the receptionist and allowed an opening to get my son in ASAP. He has such a great reputation with so many people and with good reason! Great feeling knowing your in good hands!!

I was very pleased with Dr McCall. He listened to mess if I was his only patient or family member. I received a shot in my hip and he numbed the area so I didn't feel the needle going in. Everything was timely and everyone polite.

Dr McCall was very thorough and took time to explain things. He was also studious with my time, I did not have to wait a long time in the patient room .

Dr McCall is the best trauma surgeon in our area. Great bedside manners. He was recommended to me by many friends who are also doctors and after my first visit with him I could tell why. I was impressed the moment I walked in the door! The caring friendliness could instantly be felt from the front desk all the way through seeing Dr. McCall. His PA, Trent, was wonderful, as was Dr. McCall. There was no pushing or rush towards surgery like so many others would have done.. Was seen quickly by the PA and x-ray tech. Both were very pleasant. Dr. McCall came in shortly. Answered all questions; seemed caring and interested, was not in a hurry - has a pleasant demeaner.

Dr Todd McCall gave me all the time I needed.. He was extremely through in his examination, in his consultation and diagnosis.. Very happy with my experience with him....

In 2010 I had a terrible double compound fracture,I was 34 . It was the middle of the night, Dr.Mcall was coming out of surgery as I was rushed in, he chose to stay to try and save my foot!! It was a very long surgery but without Dr.Mcall being there that night I would have lost my leg. I am a runner and most told me I would never run again …but since the I not only continue to run but coach cross country and track. I don’t even walk with a limp, in fact I forget most of the times I have a plate an many screw in my foot. Dr McCall and his team are the very best. I was 63 and had a fall from a ladder that severed my tibia and fibia. Highest level Schaztker. Many hours, screws and plates latter I was put back together and after short rehab resumed my life. I was afraid of not being able to be as active and am happy to report that I actually have increased my level of activity. After 4.5 years my leg and knee are still in great shape. I cycle, walk and swim and will be skiing again as well. So thankful after such a high level of damage that I was fortunate to have such an experienced surgeon. His team of assistants and PTs was also excellent. Very appreciative of their care.

Dr. McCall is among the very best of trauma surgeons. I have required his services twice and both times I healed strong and healthy from complex fractures!

All of the staff was so nice!

I was referred to The Orthopedic Clinic by my local urgent care on Sunday (I broke my foot,). I called their office 1st thing Monday morning and had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 p.m. the same day. I was so thankful they were able to get me in so quickly. I was so impressed by the staff in this facility. They were helpful and kind. It's obvious that their patient's care is their top priority. It definitely shows. Dr. Todd A. McCall and Michael Hensler PA-C, make a great team in my opinion. They thoroughly explained the treatment plan and answered all of my questions. They are awesome!! I personally highly recommend!!! This is the best orthopedic doctor office there is. I mean they really deserve over 5 stars ⭐️. Ever doctor and receptionist is smiling and welcoming. I had a breakdown my first visit just overwhelmed from the injury and they were there every step of the way . Definitely recommend.

I’m the type who is particular on doctors but this group and their staff are amazing! I was told by another doctor I needed a hip replacement last year but COVID hit and Dr. McCall said not yet and advised injections instead. Now that’s a great doctor! I highly recommended this group!

I’d forgotten my virus mask and the woman at the front desk grumbled “I’ll give you a mask this time, but next time you’ll just have to reschedule”. Apparently things are so tough, these guys can’t take a $2.00 hit more than once without factoring their receivables. Perhaps a GoFundMe page is in order. I’m 65 and have severe arthritis in both knees and also my right hip. PCP refused request for much needed pain relief (yes, we’re still fighting the phony “Drug War” after 40 years. Apparently surrender and the sanity of a legalized drug use system wouldn’t be comparably profitable.)I subsequently tripped slightly and was unable to catch myself due to limitations via pain, so I simply fell to the ground like a hobbled goose fracturing my hip and tearing my right glute. MRI’s proved this to be the case, but still no pain medication from ol’ doc. He instead decided on a course of rebuilding the house before actually putting out the fire, and referred me to the orthopedic specialist I now review. Not trusting the compassion of doctors at this point, I scheduled a referral to a pain management specialist (hoping someone will eventually remember taking the Hippocritic Oath (pun intended). I figured this way I wouldn’t subject the surgeon to night spasms involving his probable dread of the DEA. (Speaking of defunding...) After arranging for surgery in 6-8 weeks and after the surgeon acknowledged the abject severity of my now worsened pain, I asked if he’d be kind enough to prescribe a pain med to last a few days until my appointment with the pain specialist. He indicated he would prescribe a 5 mg dose of hydrocodone. My 92 year-old mother takes this same tablet which consists mostly of acedemetaphen (Tylenol) which is basically useless in treating my level of pain. When I made this assertion he told me it would “help a little”. Since he seemed to see the logic of this concept I suggested that when he billed me for my upcoming surgery I would feel obliged to remunerate no more than $10.00 being as this would “help a little”. In the end I suggested he keep tilting at DEA windmills and I would continue my search for compassionate medical care... He is an awesome doctor. Not only is the main orthopedic doctor awesome so was his other assistant doctor. The shorter dude with hot face. I’m lucky that I had him as my doctor. He did a great job on my shoulder.

So when I had my accident "motorcycle " on 6/14/20 and heard he would be my surgeon, I knew I was going to be alright with out worries. I'm now still under his care and healing ahead of schedule. I was very happy to get first appointment very quickly for tennis elbow. Very good service upon arrival. Top notch initial Review by nurse .. set up and complete X-ray right away . Then met with and did further review/ exam by extremely knowledgeable physicians assistant and discussed options for treatment to go over with the Dr . I’ve had a similar problem with my other elbow several issues the past so I knew cortizone shot which helped previously was likely a good option. When the Dr. came in he was fully up to speed on me based on the briefing from his capable staff. He was attentive and cordial. We decided on going forward with the shot right then. He did it and we discussed other meds and pt things to do as well to help with recovery.. Amazingly I walked out in a little less than 2 hours . How can you beat that!!!! The Orthopedic Clinic is excellent at diagnozing and solving issues, especially if you are in pain. Dr McCall is an excellent physician. He is detailed in his analyses, clearly explains your options for treatment, and makes you feel a part of the process to a solution. This is my 3rd time meeting Dr McCall, and the 2nd time getting treated by him. In all instances, my cure progressed well. First I met with Jason who was extremely professional. I got my x-rays. Then I met with Trevor. This man listened, took his time to ensure his diagnosis was correct. He thoroughly examined me. He was comforting and thoroughly explained my x-rays and what his diagnosis was. Trevor reminded me of my doctor I had at Mayo Clinic which was the best doctor I ever had. That doctor moved to New York to work with children. So when I had gotten Trevor I just knew I was in good hands. Our family couldn't be more thankful to Dr McCall and the whole Halifax Health organization. My grandpa is 87, has never been to a hospital. Shattered his femur, needed a hip replacement. Everybody at the ER treated us like family, the Dr made a fabulous job on my old boy. We are a little over a month out and we just put grandpa back on his tricycle. It's a long way to full recovery at his age but we are more than happy with the outcome and the care he received.
