After my eyelid surgery to remove a precancerous growth, 2 ophthalmologists told me the punctum was now oriented in the wrong direction. As a result, my tears cannot properly moisten my eye, so mucus accumulates in the corner.

In my opinion Shepler is a very poor communicator. He did not inform me of any of the side effects of eyelids surgery he was going to perform on me, not one! These side effects included the following: -my existing eyeglasses were no longer any good because the surgery changed shape of my eyeballs -my vision became blurred and seeing double worse worse than ever -extreme itching in both eyes which badly disturbed sleep for weeks -could not get new prescription for glasses because it took 5 months for my eyeballs to "stabilize" -without glasses could not drive a car for 5 months. Terribly inconvenient -had to pay to get new glasses At a meeting with me after the surgery he said, without explanation or elaboration, "this will be our last meeting". What did he expect me to do if I needed help? I would not recommend him to anyone. In my opinion Shepler is a very poor communicator. Dr. Shepler was extremely well mannered, explained where I could understand and took of the problem with confidence. He made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout the whole procedure. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with the eyelid surgery that Dr. Shepler performed on my mother several years ago that I asked him to do the same surgery on me. He was very informative prior to the surgery both during the office visit and just prior to the actual surgery. He was very attentive to all of my concerns throughout the process. Dr. Shepler and his staff took excellent care of me for my eye procedure! They got me scheduled right away. I get so nervous but he reassured me and it was completely painless! I will definitely use him for any future eye issues! :)

Dr. Shepler performed an amazing eye lift, both upper and lower! My results are very natural looking. He has an excellent bedside manner!

Dr. Shepler is an amazing professional. He personally greets his patients in the waiting room and walks them back to the examination room. Wow! I have never had a doctor do that. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the surgery which was quick (30 minutes), and painless. What a blessing. Appointment times were on/or before time which is much appreciated. The staff is courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. My overall experience was absolutely positive.

I have and will continue to refer my friends and family to Dr. Shepler. Great results.
