Dr. Todd E Wynkoop

Dr. Wynkoop is an exceptional endodontist who specializes in root canal treatments. I recently had the pleasure of visiting his office, and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, expertise, and kind demeanor. During my root canal procedure, I felt no pain whatsoever, and I even dozed off a few times because it was a breeze and ... well ... uneventful. I highly recommend Dr. Wynkoop to anyone in need of this type of dental procedure.

Great care. My canine tooth had a crown on it and the root was long and curved near the end. Procedure successfull. He preserved my crown and I felt no pain during or after the procedure using a local anesthetic.

The best endo dentist I've ever visited. He's done two root canals on me. Both have been painless and effective, and the appointments have been right on schedule. His office staff is also very efficient, and took care of all the insurance filings. I am dental phobic and Dr Wynkoop was very empathetic. He prescribed an oral sedative and I floated through the whole root canal procedure with no stress or pain.

I was referred here by a general dentist for a root canal. After doing the eval and all the tests Dr. Wynkoop determined that I definitely didn't need a root canal. I appreciate the honesty, especially when I never would have known the difference and they missed out on collecting a couple thousand dollars. Ten years ago, I was referred to Dr. Wynkoop for a major root canal work. Today, I was referred to him again for a more complicated root canal on a different tooth that needed a surgery. Dr. Wynkoop still did an excellent job. Wow! Surgery without pain. It's been three weeks and my tooth is still doing great. The staff were very caring and professional. Went to go have my first rootcanal and it went very smoothly. Everyone in the office was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable, especially the doctor! definitely recommend this office, great team :)

Developed an infection after my root canal treatment which can happen. I called the office to advise I was in pain and was told it could be from keeping my mouth open too long. Um no I had facial swelling and a stiff neck. I was prescribed an antibiotic but no follow call no nothing.

Dr Wynkoop was awesome with a root canal I had done yesterday, and his staff was great as well. He explained what he was doing as the procedure was underway, and they all did their best to be sure I was as comfortable as I could be while having the root canal done. I must say I was very impressed with Dr. Whynkoop and how he really did take some extra time to ensure that the root canal was done correctly, and I am very thankful for that. I'm just here because I'm just going to give this doctor advice. First, I do believe you are extremely talented and do great work. However, during the consultation, I had with you. You were short and rude. First, you tell me I have "Horrible teeth and I obviously didn't take care of them". You know you could have reworded that differently. Second, I asked a same question twice. The first time when you answered it. I was working through a panic attack. You didn't know, but I was trying to control my breathing and not disassociate. So, when that passed I asked again. You said, "I just told you that answer and now I feel like we are going in circles for no reason". When you left your dental hygenist apologized for your behavior. I know we are all human and have bad days. But, for a less than 15 minute $90 consultation. You should be able to fake it. If not, then I would take a personal day and take care of yourself. I didn't get a root canal from you because I thought you just didn't want to deal with my tooth issue and you were just done with me. I didn't feel like being treated like that again. I know I sound sensitive, but if you were in my shoes and somebody talked to you that way. Would you want their hands in your mouth for an hour and half? Just think about it. Other than that, the front desk ladies were extremely polite and kindhearted. The dental hygenist was so sweet and caring.

Dr. Wynkoop and his staff have been excellent! My case has not been an easy one but Dr. Wynkoop was very reassuring and the staff has always followed up with me after visits to make sure I was doing well. They are very up front about costs so there are no surprises.

I was referred to Dr. Wynkoop for an urgent manner yesterday and they were quickly able to get me an appointment same day. The front office staff and hygenist were all very friendly and welcoming, able to answer all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Wynkoop is not your typical Dr. He exceeded my expectations with his friendly bedside manner, he took the time to listen to my concerns, and he explained to me all possible outcomes, side effects he has such a sweet personality too! While listening to him completing the procedure I know he took every measure to ensure that my issue was resolved, double and triple checking his own work. I was so impressed and very thankful to have been referred to such a fantastic practice. The next day I was given a follow up phone call to ensure that my pain had been relieved. Dr. Wynkoop and his staff are amazing! I have had some serious work done there and it has been absolutely painless! I just about fell asleep during the procedure because it was that easy.
