Dr.Barefield's MDVIP practice is the best in the CSRA area. I love the detail she gives every appointment. A Physician that listens to her patients. And the staff is so friendly. If you are looking for a Family Practice physician in the area you need to be here.

Dr. Barefield is an approachable, caring doctor. She listens to my concerns. She is available when I have a problems and refers me to specialist when the need arises. Her staff is friendly and efficient. She has a wonderful sense of humor.

We've gone through two other doctors trying to replace our old doctor after he retired. We're not looking anymore.

Dr. Barefield is the best doctor in the universe!!!! Not enough stars to rate a phenomenal physician!!!

Having a physician who allows you the time to address all of your questions and concerns is very refreshing and very much appreciated.

Dr. Barefield is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever met. I wish everyone I know could be her patient. She never rushes me and is always there when I need her.

Not only is she good at her job but she EXCEEDS expectations of any doctor. Since I wrote my review, I have had another 5 star experience with Dr. Barefield. I fell when I was visiting a relative in Texas. The ER dr. did an x-ray and told me that I was ok, but I knew I wasn't. I couldn't put ANY weight on my right leg. My husband called Dr. Barefield, and she arranged for me to have an MRI the next day. They found that my femur was broken in 2 places and my knee had a damaged ligament. Without her, I don't know what I would have done. This was during Covid, so I understand things being crazy, but Dr. B. knows me and she knew that something was seriously wrong. I ended up having surgery on Christmas Eve and staying in the hospital for four days...in New Braunfels, TX. Recovery and rehab were very difficult, but I can't imagine what would've happened without Dr. Barefield. She and her staff are AMAZING!! I truly love them!! I don't know that I've had a better experience with any doctor...ever. Dr. Barefield and her staff are the best! They are so friendly, patient, and understanding. I've had several emergencies since I've been seeing Dr. Barefield, and she has helped me immensely through every one. I highly recommend her practice. You will not be disappointed! I have been so pleased with the office. Shirley in the front office is so friendly and kind. She makes me feel like a valued patient! Dr. Barefield has been a great doctor, willing to listen to my medical concerns and not feeling rushed during my appointment. I’m happy to have a primary physician who cares about my well being!

The whole office atmosphere is one of cheerfulness and friendliness with an attitude of 'how can we help?' I've never been treated with such kindness, compassion, and caring as I have/am by Dr. Barefield and her staff. The ability to call the office and actually get help/advice/make an appointment is wonderful. However, the most important thing is that I'm listened to, cared about, and not just a file with a name. The wait time is pleasant and short. Dr. Barefield takes time to see how you're doing and really cares about what you say. Questions and concerns are answered, either in the office or after research. I moved here to Augusta in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina . I was in a new City, and my family was in need of a new Doctor .my daughter at the time had just started college at Augusta State . I was doing research to see what Doctor would best fit my family needs . I was given Dr. Barefield "s name , and information from A coworker . My Daughter fell in love with Dr. Barefield she told me numerous of times that when she opens her practice she will treat her patients like Dr. Barefield . My daughter is now a Pediatric Dentist and I'm so proud that she was able to experience how Dr. Barefield really cares about her patients !!!!!! I could have chosen any Doctor that's close to my home , but I choose to drive 25 minutes to see Dr. Barefield !!! I had an appointment at 7:45am. The night before the appointment, I received a texted telling me my appointment time was 8:10. I arrived at 8:00 am. I was told, quite rudely, that I was late for my appointment and I would need to reschedule. I showed them the text on the phone. I was told by the office manager, that I was told on the phone my appointment time and it didn't matter that I received a text changing the appointment time.
