Dr. Patel was awesome! She is very friendly, humorous, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciate her taking the time to listen to me, I never felt rushed. She is extremely knowledgeable of autoimmune conditions and how they affect the body. When I mentioned a new medication I'm taking that she wasn't familiar with, she immediately Googled it to discover how it worked and I respect a person that wants to continue learning. I would absolutely recommend her!

Dr. Patel was excellent! She was extremely thorough and kind and patient. I did not feel rushed at all during the appointment. She explained everything to me throughout the appointment and made sure I understood. The staff was great as well. The office was very clean and nice. Highly recommend!

It went well .. Dr. Patel took one look at my skin, asked a few questions & assessed my problem!

Scheduling was a challenge as different reps gave me conflicting information but eventually got the right person on the phone who was able to schedule our appointment and take the referral verbally from the PC’s office rather than wait. Dr. Patel did an excellent job explaining asthma and my 6-year-old’s condition. She was so gentle during the physical exam and involved my son in the process. She also told him several times that nothing she was going to do would hurt. This helped him relax. The nurse we saw was also fantastic and helped my very anxious child relax and “enjoy” his visit. She genuinely cared for my son. When the time came for blood work the phlebotomist let me take my time helping my child to participate in the blood draw vs holding him down. He was very scared and nervous and she never rushed us. She was so patient, skilled and kind. As a result my son was able to have as positive experience for his first blood draw.

Dr. Patel is one of the most intelligent and straightforward doctors I’ve seen in awhile. She’s friendly and kind. I definitely recommend seeing her.

This was my first time visiting an allergy doctor. Dr. Patel was extremely caring and knowledgeable. She was/is determined to find the root cause of my reaction. Dr. Patel and her staff made me feel comfortable and worry free during my visit.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Patel’s for almost 8 years. She is so kind and empathetic with young children and friendly. She has gone the “extra mile” for my son and myself so many times with information and making herself available, even after hours. I have recommended Dr. Patel more times than I can count.

She listened to all of our concerns and took the time to explain each step of the process. We didn’t feel rushed or unheard. We also observed how she interacted with other co-workers, which was very respectful and polite. We look forward to our next visit with Dr.Patel.

I wanted to have an appointment with Dr Patel so I went to another office location for my annual examination. Not only is she personable and knowledgeable but she is thorough when talking to me about my diagnosis and knows exactly how to treat my condition. She is courteous and her goal is to help recover my health to as normal as possible. I highly recommend her.

The dr was great but her staff told me I was done and could leave and they never followed up with the things the Dr ordered for my so like paperwork that needed to be signed for his mediation because he has uncontrolled asthma and even the follow up appointment. So they had to call me to try and finish everything

We’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for years and really love seeing her at Carolina Asthma & Allergy now. She is so patient, personable, and kind. Not to mention wicked smart! We go to her because she knows her stuff and is a straight shooter. We wouldn’t trust our son’s allergies to anyone else.

My son and I visited Dr. Patel for our annual checkup. She is so knowledgeable and always answers all my questions. My son has a peanut allergy so I bend her ear quite often. I always feel informed to make good decisions. I would highly recommend her to others.

Knowledge and friendly.

Dr. Patel is very kind and knowledgeable and personable with my son. The office seems to be very slow in visits (doctors coming in, nurses coming back for tests, and bringing back any results or checkout papers) and also does not do a good job of communicating with patients when in office, ex:what you are waiting on. This has happened at each visit we have had (4-5 total).

Dr Patel is by wide and far the GREATEST medical provider I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. She literally blends the greatest bedside manner one could imagine would be impossible to have, with am extremely powerful and vast knowledge of her field. Not only is that abundantly apparent mere minutes into first conversation, but she also conveys her wealth of knowledge in a way thats easy to grasp from a layperson point of view, all this while in no way insulting patient intelligence. This makes it crystal clear that she is listening as she tailored her communication based on my knowledge level. Was in no way dismissive toward any of my concerns, nor thoughts on treatment, moreover solicited my input on past, present and applicable modalities and treatments possible and not possible for me. Dr Patel is a great doctor and we have been pleased with the treatment plan she set our daughter on as it’s helped a lot! My only complaint is the wait time, our appointment was at 8:15 am and didn’t leave until 9:45 am.

She was overall awesome. Explained everything well and had an upbeat attitude. Answered all of my questions and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

As a new patient, I was greeted warmly at the front desk and by the nurse. Dr. Patel gave a clear, concise and new explanation to a decade-old issue. Very personable and an overall good experience.

Dr. Patel is a great Allergist and because of her attention to my health she first found that I had something questionable concerning my lung health. She recommended an X-ray which did show an anomaly. She is just that detailed. My sons and their families also have Dr. Patel as their allergist. We all have confidence in her expertise!

Dr. Patel explains things in a way that can be understood easily! She also talks to my children and explains what’s going on so everyone knows and understands why and what to expect next. I love that she will push to challenge an allergy to overcome it (if it’s a possibility) for you or your child. She is very on point and has improved both of my kids quality of life not only with food allergies but also with outside allergies as well as immunological. Without her guidance, both of my kids would still be avoiding eggs and carrying an epi-jr around. My son would still be having eardrums rupture frequently. I’m just saying, she is one smart Doctor.

Referred for sensitivity and RX reaction testing. Doctor Immediately jumped into possible Mast Cell disease. Ordered tests in 9/23 Tests came back negative. Saw Patel day of PFT. She laughed and said tests were not normal. 0 action. Asthma began to escalate, after Xolair injections were denied, I sought help to calm my pulmonary condition pre surgery around Feb 1. I got a portal note advising me to go to the Mayo Clinic for Mast cell diagnosis. Stunned! I tried to call her. She refused to speak. Practice manager reached out to all CAA doctors. They all agreed I must go to Mayo Clinic. Called Mayo only to be told that NO Mayo Clinic diagnoses nor treats Mast Cell. When seeking another option from CAAI, a nurse referred us to Mast Cell Society. I am enduring level 5+ Hip pain. Surgery was to be March 23rd. Being that anesthesia can be deadly w/Mast Cell, I feel I must delay until we have answers. We find Dr. Patel to be actionably incompetent, arrogant, and frankly cruel. Below a 1.
