Dr. Venkatesh Sundararajan

Dr Venk, My name is Paul kleinguenther, DOB 02/05/1959. I saw Amy for my monthly Medication refill and I explained to Amy that the Percocet's were definitely working better for my pain however there were several days were 1 tablet BID just wasn’t working the entire day and that I did have to to take an additional tablet. I also asked her if it would be possible to change the prescription to 1-2 BID PRN or 1 TID. I also explained that I was currently out due to having to increase the amount. She agreed to send in 75 tablets in place of the usual 60 however she wrote to fill on the 14th instead of the 16th. When I explained (via email) to Amy I received call from the office from a front desk coordinator say that Amy made me aware of the fill date and that it was an insurance issue and couldn’t change it. I contacted Highmark Health options and the gentleman explained that it would just require a new preauthorization and that he would fax it to the office. He then placed me on hold to call your office. The gentleman said he was able to fax the form over. That was Wednesday and I still don’t see anything in my Walgreens app indicating the new prescription. Also, Dr Kim said that I had to have my hemoglobin A1c at 7 which I accomplished by getting it from 11.1 in November 2020 to 7.2 in February of this year and now says my hip replacement surgery (both hips) have to be done first. Dr Johnson was going to die my right hip on March 29th however the preparations such as all the different surgical clearances and other necessary required testing was trying to be done in a few weeks and honestly, I got completely stressed out when on the Thursday before the surgery telling me I needed to have cardiac clearance from Dr Kelly’s office. I don’t have transportation and every drs apartment for me to get to is extremely difficult. My question is, since I honestly don’t feel comfortable yet with being admitted into a hospital until after I’m completely vaccinated, can I possibly get the spinal cord stimulator implanted before I have my hips replaced? If you remember, my trial was pre-Covid and the implementation part was canceled and that would have been done before knowing about my hip condition. I’m only asking because the sooner the implant is in place, the sooner I can come off the medication. Your response would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you, Paul Kleinguenther 302-264-0500

Dr. "Venk", as his staff calls him, was my saviour! His treatments for my severe and debilitating back pain was like a miracle! He also, later, diagnosed my deteriorated hip which he treated for a year, gave me total relief until it finally needed to be replaced. I have recommended him to several others who were extremely happy with his skill and his bedside manor. He is my hero!

My experiences with Dr. Venk have been nothing short of positive. Each time he treats me, my pain disappears for a long time. He has a very charming and calming bedside manner. The only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth is the wait time and no staff advising me of the wait and approximately how long I would have to wait. Today I waited an hour and 15 minutes for a 2 minute post op appointment with no one coming into the room that I was in to make sure I was OK, and to advise me of an approximate wait time. I left without rescheduling because I had someone sitting in her car waiting for me to take me home and we were both tired and very hungry. I worked in health care for over 40 years and always made it a point to let my patients know that I respected their time and that if I were delayed, then I'd have someone let them know or I'd let them know. Perhaps a little staff training in customer service is in order. Our time is just as important as theirs.

Dr Venk is a very compassionate caring doctor, he treats patients with the upmost respect and like he would treat his own family. Recommend highly!

Absolutely excellent

I have pain in both my shoulders and back. I was in an accident a couple of months ago. I see Brad here, he is great. My pain has not gotten any better so I hope by coming here I start seeing results that will be able to help me and manage my pain better!

I found you guys from google search. I live in Felton, DE so this location is close to me. My pain has gotten 90% better from coming here. Everyone has been very nice here which is really comforting. Everything is great, I can not complain. This is a very positive place to come to.

I recently got an injection, it was good for a few days but now experiencing some pain. The pain is in my lower back and hips. I have been seeing you guys since June now. My experience with Brad has been good. He listens to me. I really just want more help managing my pain better and to be comfortable. I am hopeful the doctors will help me!

I was experiencing pain in my knees. Which is now effecting my hips and my back. I have been coming here for a year. My experience is good. I did see another pain management group before coming here. When I first started here, I saw Jessica. She was amazing. My pain is getting a little worse. I am in and out of the house running errands daily, so I really need a little more to help me. I like it here, I've called 5 other pain management offices and this is the only one that didn't turn me away or treat me differently. I found out one of the nurses here has the same conditions I have and that made me feel so comfortable. They were relatable. Dr. Venk is really nice and understood my condition. I called them and they made me an appointment right away. If I run out of medicine and call them, they work with me! I found you guys through my medical provider and when the 5 other pain management groups turned me down, I called here and they got me in, in a week...it was amazing.

I had a knee replacement, my full knee and I wasn't happy with it. I was referred by my primary care doc. My pain has gotten better. Brad is great too, he listens to me and makes me feel comfortable.

I was referred here by Dr. Luna. My pain started in my back and now it's throughout my entire body. Coming here my pain is manageable. I see a few docs here, they are all really good! I don't wait long here either, you guys keep it moving!

It's pretty easy to make appointments here, I actually called in on Monday and now I'm here and it's Thursday. I was surprised to get in so soon, other places take months. The front desk is very friendly. Dr. Venk was good, I really liked him alot. He cared about what he was explaining, he was really patient with me since I have short term memory loss. He was working with me the whole time and that means alot. There's not alot of waiting out there either, my appointment was at 10:45 and now it's 11:00 and I'm already back. So that's awesome that you don't have to wait.

I have alot of pain all over. I was going to the Middletown office, but the Milford office is closer for me since I live in Dover. I would say there is nothing to improve on, everything is fine!

I have an autoimmune disease and sometimes I am in alot of pain. I was very unhappy with the care at my previous provider. Dr. Venk and Brad, I love them both! I am 100% happy with this office, the staff is happy and friendly. My injections are great, no issues there. I am treated like a person here, not a number like alot of other places.

My pain has improved with medicine. For my appointments I see him and Brad. He really understands me! There really is nothing for them to improve here, so far so good!!

I researched CIPS on google, plus my mom comes here as well. This is my second time here. I started coming here because I have arthritis in my knee. My pain is spreading all over, it has gotten a little better so far with the medication.

I was recommended to come here by Christiana Hospital. I see a bunch of doctors but mostly Dr. Venk. Dr. Venk is very good, listens and answers all of my questions. My pain is tolerable and seems to be improving each visit.

I was not pleased with my last couple of doctors because I was having severe back and leg pain. It's way different here, the doctors take care of you at the discretion of what's wrong. I can't see any other group of doctors now.

Dr. Venk is great and so is Nilima. I definitely come here because they actually do care and they don't just give you meds and walk away. I was having more increased pain and had two surgeries and I was pretty much concerned about being on pain meds and Dr. Venk found an alternative med and that was huge! Dr. Venk really looked out for me. I love Nilima too! The only issue I ever had was my prior-auth took a month once that is really my only 'complaint.' It's been great!

I like Dr. Venk, he's really on it! He's just very knowledgeable. He was really straight and stern and made me feel comfortable with his knowledge. He didn't beat around the bush, he came in and dd what he needed to do and I liked that alot. Nilima is very gentle. She asks me questions like "how do you feel today" and shes very personable and very soothing. I like the staff but they are always changing - but they are pretty good. One of my friends told me about you guys and I had to check it out.

The staff is really decent, I really like them. They are over nice. The doctor is doing what he can do, I want more but he knows what hes doing. Dr. Venk is a good guy. They are good people, i have no complaints.

The staff is polite and helpful. Dr. Venk explains your pain and why you have it. He also explained where my pain is located. For me, I have a real issue, so he's trying to find a procedure that will help my pain so I can get back to my normal everyday life. He is very informative.

I came here for pain management. Dr. Venk and I worked together to manage the pain. My pain management has been successful. My office visits are managed quickly, I called yesterday and I'm in today. The staff is very understandable, the waiting time is not long at all.

I feel like everyone here has listened to me and is very kind. Dr. Venk was the one who actually triggered my pain that was in my neck when no one knew that was the issue. He caught my neck pain that's been over looked by many of my other doctors.

I have been seeing Dr. Venk for over three years with L4 L5 herniated disks pain. I have seen him approximately ever 6- 9 months for lower lumbar injections at the Abington surgical center in WG. He is a very compassionate doctor and is concern with your total well being. I am thankful for him and his expertise in administering the steroid injection as I am renewed and can live pain free for almost a year. I was referred to Dr. Sundararajan to get an epidural. My consult visit lasted about 1 minute. He was friendly, but not thorough. He didn't explain anything, just told schedule an appointment for the epidural. When I came in for the procedure, he seemed rushed. He didn't walk me through what he was doing, nor give me any warning before the injections - which startled me since I couldn't see what he was doing on my back. I felt like a dog at the veterinarian.
