Dr. Paliwal provided a terrible experience for me. I have a fib and was looking for a new cardiologist after moving to the area. Upon entering the examination room his first words were to tell me I needed statins and was extremely belligerent when I demurred. He became very agitated and did not provide any real rationale for his insistence. After further tests proved even more effectively that my condition was not as as dire as he predicted he continued to push me toward statins without once considering that I exhibited none of the symptoms that called for statins. after analyzing my halter monitor results he then insisted that I see one of his partners to evaluate me for a pacemaker. In the meantime, I needed. surgery for another condition, but when asked for his release he lied and said that I had turned down the pacemaker - not true. I just didn’t go to see his partner. The doctors for my other surgery balked and I was left hanging. I finally went to a renowned cardiologist who examined the halter monitor data and told me without a doubt that I did not need a pacemaker and that statins may be useful in ensuring that my calcium score wouldn’t worsen but my total cholesterol (150) didn’t warrant statins and that we should look at it in a couple of years. Dr. Paliwal did not take any of my history or present physical condition into account. I have no symptoms, I am in fine physical condition (exercise every day, have a history of endurance sports, etc.). It seems he only wanted to push a medication and treatment on me that would significantly affect my quality of life. Very disappointed that someone like this can do this. One of the finest heart doctors around. Has taken care of my heart for the past ten years. Pleasant and competent to deal with. No BS or fudging on the truth. Highly recommend.

Dr. Paliwal and his Nurse Practitioner give a very comprehensive visit covering all needed topics with clear instructions. They listen well and review all the needed history prior to the visit. They make a very specific plan with you as well. Really a great visit and great team.

Terrible experience. Seemed to only be interested in putting me on statins without any analysis of my overall health or the fact that I had no symptoms calling for statins.

Dr. Paliwal recommended an esophogeal echocardiogram prior to doing an cardioversion for atrialfibrulation primarily to check for a clot. I appreciated his concern and caution.

Exceptional concern, time spent w/me, thorough exam w/in-room EKG, in-depth yet understandable detailed diagnosis, sensible rx, great staff. Dr Paliwal treats several friends/relatives incl my PCP & they ALL recommended him HIGHLY when my atherosclerosis issues arose. I'm grateful for Dr Paliwal's kind manner and am very lucky he was willing to add me to his patient roster. His time spent carefully enlightening me about the med in his treatment plan for me overcame decades of resistance on my part to taking such meds & in so doing it's very likely he has given me a chance to add decades to my life.

Dr Paliwal is professional at all times. He asks questions about my general health and how I’m feeling. He always asks if I have any questions and responds in detail.

From the very beginning of being a Patient of Dr. Paliwal, I have found him a very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate individual. He is always willing to answer my Cardiology Questions. Went very well, all my concerns were addressed. Both Dr. and his staff were great to work with.

It was just an update from a previous visit, and it was via telephone. He was informative, and he was very kind.

This was a follow-up visit for my stress test and to evaluate changes to my medication to manage recent raised blood pressure readings. My blood pressure readings have been significantly reduced resulting in my feeling more relaxed and more active. We have more to do but the progress has been wonderful.

Dr Paliwal clearly explained my Cardio physical situation & answered my questions to my satisfaction.

October 2017, I saw Dr. Paliwal. I waited 20 minutes, and then he left in the middle of my appointment to see someone in the ER. I spent 15 minutes with him. He ordered tests. He sent in the wrong codes and the tests were denied. I finally got testing December 2017. I got results 1/17/18, after calling numerous times. He called and said the tests were "basically" fine and hung up. I received a bill for $3995.50 for a stress test, a 24 heart monitor and his visit. Terrible EXPENSIVE care.

I will not be returning to see this doctor. My first and only visit with him he told me I should have surgery for weight loss. Not once did he suggest diet or exercise. He spoke down to me like he was better than me. Also...I had to have an over night blood oxygen test done. It took me two months and several phone calls to get the result from that test. According to Dr. Paliwal I have significant sleep apnea and he will refer me to a sleep lab. He never sent that referral to the lab.
