Dr. Chatrath was very kind. Explained in layman terms what was wrong with me & was very thorough. Short wait time & got plan of treatment going quickly. I definitely give him & his staff a thumbs up!

Battled a painful knee for over a year. Visited some wonderful drs in my hometown in Texas with little relief My niece insisted I come to Bossier and see Dr Vik. So glad I did. He spent time explaining everything and explaining knee replacement was really my only option with bone on bone. I’ve tried everything Injections, meniscus trim and HA injections. Nothing helped. Dr Vik explained the new technology in knee replacement and I would need to commit to post surgery therapy to get a good outcome Dr Viks and his staff are so kind and gave me hope to getting back to active. Minimal time in waiting room and no waiting for staff and Dr Vik to come in to the exam room. Even being busy they didn’t waste a second of my time.

The entire experience with this clinic was great. Appointment was on time and the entire staff was great. Dr. Chatrath was patient and took time to explain every step to my 10 year old son.

Absolutely great from the check in process to end of visit was outstanding.

Very professional and very informant. I felt very comfortable although I was very nervous being put to sleep the whole staff including my doctor was absolutely wonderful. I’m still waiting to be healed completely so I don’t know the outcome but I’m sure it’s gonna be absolutely wonderful.

The best knee doctor I had total knee surgery done by him and i was walking ?? with a cain and walker before two weeks healing was not hard only minor pain. They send you home with a nurse and a trainer and all the equipment you need to make a speedy recovery I am very happy with my knee surgery

I've had some trouble with my right foot. From the moment I saw Dr.Chatrath, he was professional- very polite, and detailed. He has a nice sense of humor too. He made me laugh a few times during my initial visit. I've seen him twice now and he was the same. I could not have chosen a better place for my Healthcare needs.

Everyone was fast and courteous. Could not ask for a better visit. I had only met Dr. Chatrath in the ER after breaking my hip. I had seen his ad and liked it and planned on seeing him about replacing both knees, but this happened. At the office visit he explained what had gone on and answered my quick questions without acting like he wanted to leave. I think that I have made the correct decision about going with the new Dr. in town rather than one of the well established ones. YES, I will recommend him to others, family and friends.

Kim met with me first and I was immediately at ease. She laughed with me, listened, and was thorough in gathering information for my meeting with Dr. Chatrath. When Dr. Chatrath came in he was also very friendly, professional, frank, and set course of treatment for immediate relief and short term goals for further treatment. Office followed Covid protocol, was very clean with friendly office staff. If it's possible to look forward to next visit, I do! After just one visit I would recommend without hesitation.

I finally got the answers I needed for my leg pain, and he showed concern and compassion. Very helpful!

The staff was very welcoming along with Dr Chatrath.Was not what I was expecting but I'm super excited to know I actually have a orthopedic who shows he actually cares about my well being..

He is very encouraging. He is confident in his work. He communicated well and explained everything that was going to happen and what to expect throughout the entire process. Very professional, he made me and my wife very comfortable during my surgery.

My visit was exceptional we were in the lobby no more than 15 minutes moved back to a room, doctor was in within 15 minutes. All questions were answered all concerns were addressed. I couldn’t be more pleased with the speed, professionalism and attentive care I was given by all staff members.

Dr. Chatrath and his staff are very nice and professional. His nurse Amanda is the sweetest! He explained what is possibly going on with my knee and the next steps to be taken; he didn't mind my questions either! I have all confidence going forward that Dr. Chatrath and his team will take wonderful care of me.

I had to have emergency surgery for a broken femur. I luckily was told Dr. Chatrath would do the surgery. I did not know him, but I am so glad he was my surgeon. He did a fabulous job, and I have healed up beautifully. I had virtually no pain after my surgery. He truly is a very skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend him.

Very through about explaining procedures! Also, he is very personable with a quick wit and smile! His personnel was also a joy!!

Dr Chatrath is an amazing orthopedic surgeon! I, at a young age had to have a hip replacement and he went above and beyond to work with my insurance and performed a great surgery. I’m 2.5 years out from my surgery now and doing well. I highly recommend him!

I have been a radiology tech for 10 years and Vik is the best orthopedic surgeon I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He’s always interested in learning new techniques and he does amazing work for each and every one of his patients! I am working as a nurse currently and have referred all of my patients to him for anything ortho related. Sad to see him leave MN but he’s the best without a doubt and I will stand by my word that he’s the best orthopedic surgeon in the area no matter where he is and who else is in the area:)

Dr Chatrath is the best. He is genuine and cares deeply for all of his patients.

I worked with Dr. Chatrath's patients for 4 years while he was in Marshall, MN (physical therapist here). He had fantastic patient outcomes post operatively, but he also knew exactly when patients would benefit from a more conservative treatment approach. I have been a radiology tech for 10 years and in that time worked with several different orthopedic surgeons. Vik is the does the best work I’ve seen! Cases that would be very long for others he performed in half the time, with amazing results. I am a nurse now and throughout the past few years I have always referred/spoke highly of Vik Chatrath and many of my patients were also happy with his/her results… If your looking for a great ortho doc it would be him:)

In my opinion, Dr. Chatrath is one of the best surgeons in the Orthopedic arena. In January, I needed total shoulder replacement surgery, in the reverse configuration. The recovery from the successful surgery was relatively easy, due, in large part, I believe, to the performance/knowledge of Dr. Chatrath. He also performed a total knee replacement surgery for me about 6 years ago. The replacement was very successful & that recovery was quicker than this latest shoulder surgery. Dr. Chatrath is very knowledgeable, very easy to work with, very patient-oriented, and a great person to interact with. I highly recommend Dr. Chatrath to anyone whom is needing orthopedic surgery and/or care. I wish him the very best in his new location - I am quite certain that he will find the same success in Louisiana (or anywhere, for that matter) as he has had in Marshall, MN, and I would like to extend my personal thanks to him once again.

Without hesitation, I give Dr. Chatrath an EXCELLENT 5 star rating! My son was a patient of Dr. Chatrath in high school. He suffered a hip injury playing football. My son had big aspirations to play Division 1 football and a goal to play in the NFL. This injury was devastating to him. Dr. Chatrath was extremely professional and thorough but but most important for us, an absolute expert. He answered all of our questions, we never felt rushed. He put us at ease by explaining exactly what we could expect. His attention to detail and concern for his patients is above and beyond! Dr. Chatrath is very educated, experienced, and knows how to get you healthy again. We trust him completely and would return without hesitation. I would request him again & recommend him to any of our family or friends. Ultimately, with the help of Dr. Chatrath, my son came back extremely well from this injury and was a first round Draft Pick to the 49ers in April!

Dr. Chatrath did my knee replacement with excellent results. I couldn't be happier with my new knee. My only regret. Not doing it sooner so he would be here to do my other knee. He explained what to expect and how I should do therapy before and after the surgery to help with the healing process. I wish he could have stayed in Marshall, MN.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Chatrath, both personally and professionally. Professionally, as an occupational therapist, I frequently collaborated with him and treated many of his patients. He was always kind and respectful to me and all of the other professionals that he worked alongside, and he always had fantastic bedside manner with his patients. He is the most exceptional orthopedic surgeon that I’ve had the privilege to work with. Personally, he also treated one of my family members who fractured his humerus. After reaching out for his professional opinion, he came in on his day off to give a second opinion. Dr. Chatrath was very patient and informative in helping my brother-in-law determine whether or not he should have surgery. Thankfully, an unnecessary surgery was avoided and his arm healed beautifully. I highly recommend Dr. Chatrath to anyone who wants exceptional orthopedic care!

I have had the privilege to work with Dr Chatrath for the past 4 years as he cared for mutual patients. I was a colleague and patient of Dr. Chatrath during my tenure at Avera Marshall Medical Center. Dr. Chatrath provided exceptional care and went above and beyond throughout my diagnosis, surgery and recovery process. He provided effective communication and always made sure I understood the next steps and what to expect. Five stars all around!

I saw Dr Chatrath for 2 different issues. One was a frozen shoulder the other was knee pain. He explained what was going on with each joint issue and what options, he thought would be best for me. I ended up with injections in both joints and have gotten a 2nd when it was needed. I had instant relief with the injections, but was told if any issues to call right away. My husband had knee surgery with Dr Chatrath 5 years ago--everything went great and he is very pleased with the surgery. His office was helpful in getting you in ASAP when there was an issue. My husband had slipped off bottom 2 steps and hit his knee about a year and half after surgery. they got him in right away to make sure there wasnt injury to the knee. Dr Chatrath explained that husbands surgery would only be a partial knee surgery BUT if after going in they find he needed a full knee replacement they would do that instead. Everything was explained about the surgery what all would happen.

Dr. Chatrath performed a knee replacement surgery on my right knee which has given me a mobility that I would not have today at 84 years of age. He had a wonderful positive attitude ever time I visited with him and his staff. I noticed a delightful team spirit in all of his associates as a result of his leadership. Dr. Chatrath took excellent care of me with the torn meniscus in my knee. I was concerned about the impact surgical recovery would have on my work. Dr. Chatrath determined that My knee may respond well to an injection and physical therapy. It did and I’m back to doing all my activities without any restrictions. Dr. Chatrath is a tremendously skilled orthopedic surgeon. And one of the most important skills of such a surgeon is knowing when you do not need to perform surgery. He explains things clearly and keeps the patient’s best interest as his top priority. Dr Chatrath took excellent care of me and I would not hesitate to entrust him with my care again or the care of those I hold most dearly.

I had the pleasure of nursing with Dr. Chatrath. He was always so polite and courteous to both his patients and employees. Patient's rarely had a long wait time to see him and they rarely had a complaint about his care. He is very diligent at making sure that each patient receives individualized care along with educating them on what to expect with any procedure or process to be done.

He focused on explaining, completely, all of my options for treatment and consistently allowed me to feel a part of the decision making process, (which can be rare with many physicians!). I was gong to go to Sioux Falls and have knee replacement but I broke my knee in an accident and Dr. Chatrath came into the emergency room and after xrays suggested that total knee replacement was needed after the knee healed. It took that one visit to know that I want Dr. Chatrath to perform the surgery. I have never regretted it and plan to use Dr. Chatrath for replacement of the other knee. Not only is Dr. Chatrath a good Doctor is entire team is top notch.

Dr Chatrath was very professional and made it very easy to understand my knee condition and the reality of what replacement entails. His approach was very much appreciated by both me and my wife.

It has been three months since my hip replacement surgery, and I am so pleased with the outcome. I am walking well and have no pain. Dr. Chatrath and his staff were attentive, personable, available and encouraging. I appreciated the information I received in advance and recommend that everyone attend "joint camp." Had a very good experience.

I had knee replacement with Dr. Chatrath and the surgery was almost pain free and the results are excellent. He knows what he is doing and I highly recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.
