Dr. Vincent Dicola

After visiting another cardiologist, who found nothing wrong, I went to Dr. Dicola, who took my concerns about heart pain seriously. He gave me several tests and discovered blockage in an artery. I am so glad that I visited Dr. Dicola.

Dr. Dicola is a very thorough, skilled, and friendly physician, He will never hurry you. I've been seeing him for years and feel very comfortable that I am receiving quality care in a timely fashion. Dr. Dicola is a true professional.

Too old to be a doctor. Has a hard time with responding to patients. Difficult to work with.

Worst office staff and dint ever call to speak to Dr you get an associate who sends you to nursing staff which is voice mail and you don't get a call back for days on end stay away from this office no bedside manner

My fiancée came in for a follow up appt with Dr. Dicola today and what an absolute disaster. He comes in and starts straight out by saying she’s out of shape and that’s she’s gained weight since her last visit. Asked if she’s still eating junk food, she said no then said “well you’re doing something”. Didn’t mention any of the test results before saying that. Nonetheless it wasn’t the right way to say something like that! He then continued to state that all her test results came back fine. Then circled back 3 more times! Repeatedly said she’s out of shape, she’s overweight and then had the audacity to ask if she’s afraid of exercising. He even said that a 150 bpm is normal which was found on the halter monitor. My fiancée wasn’t running or doing anything to get her heart rate so high. Her heart rate can even get that way just sitting down so I asked him, “wouldn’t you find it abnormal that her heart rate is so high sitting down?” Immediately came back with “excuse me who are you?” I told him and then completely blew off my question by once again saying that her heart rate will raise from activity. THAT’S NOT WHAT I ASKED. Dr. Dicola finally finished going over the same test results and calling my fiancée fat for the millionth time and continued on to the examination. He listened to her heart by putting the stethoscope on her back and instead of putting his other hand on her shoulder, he inappropriately placed his hand on her breasts! Then touched her thigh for no reason. He then had her lay down and just decided to ask if we live together. We said yes and just replied “hm ok”. Why would you ask something like that for no reason? After that he finished his examination, sat back on his chair then continued to repeat himself that she’s out of shape and overweight and the test results are fine. He spoke into his microphone to type into the computer for his post notes. We got the paper and he couldn’t even correct any of his typos, it looks awful and unprofessional. My fiancée also asked if it could have something to do with anxiety. He said we can do a stress test but she should really follow up with her pcp. He did advise a stress test and formally recommended it but didn’t take any time to ask questions about it relating to her heart rate. He did not care at all and was completely hell bent on her heart rate just being because of her condition right now. Unless you’re a female and would like to be called fat repeatedly and like to be touched inappropriately, DO NOT GO SEE THIS MAN!!! He is rude and arrogant and he doesn't know how to treat patients. I would never go to him! He talks down to people and reminds you constantly he is the doctor. Not worth your time meeting with him.
