Dr. Vincent A Fowble

I was referred to Dr. Fowble and heard good comments of the dr. Appointment made was seven weeks out. One week prior to the appointment, the office phones to tell me he is taking the day off and his next available appointment was two months later! I mentioned that since he was changing my appointment, he should squeeze me in as soon as possible. This wasn't an option, I was told. I asked what if I was in severe pain, waiting all this time. Then to wait another two months for an appointment! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. VERY DISAPPOINTED

My first major surgery, Dr Foble replaced my right hip Unbelievable healing and rehab, I was playing golf in 8 weeks walking 3 miles a day in 10 weeks and was able to get back to normalcy in 12 weeks He made himself available for any and all questions and X-rays show a perfect hip

Top Notch Orthopedic Surgeon! Met with us prior to emergency surgery assuring our concerns. Met once again after surgery prior to my wife taking her first steps within two hours of surgery. Thanks Dr Fowble, going strong one year later.

Dr. Fowble 10 yrs. Ago repaired my busted knee - Tibia Plateau Fracture. He did an amazing job! People can’t believe how well my knee functions !

Dr Fowble performed a double hip replacement on me. Within 3 weeks apart. I am doing really well. The pain is there but I have to put up with it. As anyone does. He’s a wonderful dr. You just better listen to him. Carolyn

I cannot believe anyone could give him a good review. He is rude to his patients and makes quick decisions without regard to the patients needs. His treatment decision with me resulted in an infection and second surgery after just 2 weeks. I would recommend you go elsewhere for your orthopedic care.

I had a complicated previous fractured knee and was told it was inoperable. I waited til I could no longer walk and went to Dr Fowble, who was referred by a local physician. The outcome was amazing. He didn’t ?????????? coat anything He told me everything to expect and the outcome was fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have trouble believing a few of these responses, because Dr. Fowble couldn’t have been more caring, more understanding, and more concerned with my rehab. He is straight forward; he tells it like it is; he doesn’t coddle; and he wants to do what is BEST for the patient. I am not a whiner, but I would guess he doesn’t put up with too much whining or complaining! I had one knee replaced and the second one replaced 10 days later! He did an excellent job; I faithfully did my rehab; and I swim and I walk beautifully today with no pain whatsoever! The quality of the surgery is a lot more important than a bedside manner! Dr. Fowble is an excellent Doctor/Surgeon. Performed a total hip replacement. Had me up walking the day after surgery with less pain than I had before the surgery. No complications at all. He and his office staff were friendly, professional and absolutely first rate. They gave me complete information about my options and what to expect. I couldn't be happier with the results and recommend Dr. Fowble without reservation.

BEWARE!! This practice no longer writes prescriptions for pain medication beyond Tramaodol which will not touch the pain from a total knee replacement or hip. Moreover, they don't advise you of this prior to surgery and when you call in serious pain, desperate for relief they truly could care less, and advise that you can go to a pain clinic. So an elderly patient, who can't even drive yet after surgery, who is crying in pain, can wait weeks to get into a pain clinic and meanwhile be in excruciating pain to the point of tears? They should have been told this prior to surgery. There are other doctors to choose from. It's shameful and inhumane how they are treating patients. SHAME SHAME SHAME

Very thorough exam and explanation of problem and possible solutions. Very willing to use conservative approach which was my preference.

I enjoyed meeting Dr. Fowble, he was very engaging and knowledgeable, he explained my options and what was best for now, very particular and realistic about what to expect with knee replacement surgery!!! Also a good sense of humor!!! Very Important!!!????

A previous Dr left my leg almost an inch short with a partial hip replacement, making it difficult to walk. Dr Fowble used his considerable skill to remove the cemented stem without cutting and wiring my femur as other highly-regarded Orthopedists thought would be necessary. He eliminated the pain caused by the movement of the head of the prosthesis in my socket and evened my legs with a new total hip. I now walk normally. At 61 and active, I am forever in his debt for his compassion and skill.

Dr. Fowble replaced both my knees 5 years apart. He is straight forward and easy to talk with. However, the real measure of his skill is in the results. Both knee replacements were successful and I have regained full function of both legs with no pain. I've run out of knees, but if I had to have a hip replaced, Dr. Fowble is my surgeon no question!

DR. Fowble was great in handling my case, which another surgeon had avoided. He told me that I was in a delicate category since on dialysis, but gave me all of the facts I needed to have the surgery. I liked his direct and professional manner, before and after the surgery, which was entirely successful.

My husband had bilateral knee replacements this past February and March. I can't say enough about his skill and expertise. He cares for his patients and sees to it that they get excellent care. He's the best in what he does and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hip or knee replacement. He is known for very difficult cases that other surgeons don't want to even touch.

Dr. Fowble is an excellent doctor; he may not have the best bedside manners, but he is direct. One will have a complete understanding of what to expect. In my opinion, one could not ask for anything different. I have recommended him several times and will continue to recommend him.

I hadn’t a very disappointing experience with Dr Fowble. During our appointment he used profanity, demonstrated grave unprofessionalism, and spoke to us in a very condescending manner. At one point he even told us to “learn some common sense” while we were asking him our medical questions. I would never recommend Dr Fowble to patients looking for quality care.

I would not recommend this doctor! He was very arrogant and gruff. He may be competent but his bedside manner is lacking. Surely there are more compassionate doctors in this area.I was hesitant to write this- thinking that every doctor may have a bad day- However after having spoken to another friend she confirmed my opinions.

I'm so grateful that our doctor friend referred Dr. Fowble for my knee replacement revision! Dr. Fowble is SO knowledgeable, confidant, kind, professional and explains procedures well. My surgery and recovery exceeded my expectations! He is the only doctor to consider for joint issues. Jane and his team are excellent as well!

Dr Fowble is simply the best! I did numerous hours of research looking for an experienced hip resurfacing surgeon. I went to two other hip surgeons prior to Dr Fowble. I'm a very active 56 year old and because of the hip pain I was no longer able to enjoy my favorite activity of kiteboarding. Dr Fowble reassured me I'd be back kiteboarding in a reasonable time as long as I followed his instructions. Surgery went extremely well. Pain after was minimal. Only took Tylenol. Dr Fowble is AWESOME!

I had my hip and knee replaced by Dr. Fowble. God willing I'm done but would look no further than Dr. Fowble if another replacement is necessary. We've all heard "you have to go to HSS" for knee or hip replacement. I say, "why". I would challenge any HSS doctor to tell me why as well. I've had excellent care, excellent results. Thank you Dr Fowble, Lisa, Jane and team.

I would Recommend Dr Fowble in a heartbeat.From the first time i met him and after my hip replacement he has been the best.He is very straight forward and tells ya like it is!
