Dr. Visoth Chhiap

Dr.Chhiap is an excellent dermatologist who knows his stuff. He's treated me for a couple of different conditions I had & with great success. He was always very thorough & took his time to explain everything & answer any & all my questions. I highly recommend Dr.Chhiap!

After 25 years my husband finally found a Dr. who is actually helping him. They saw him same day I called and Dr. stayed late to make sure my husband was ok and even called him the next morning to check on him. He recommended products we should use and they are working!

Changed my review! This doctor doesn't do his job and made a racial comparison remarks that I didnt appreciate. Do your job and stop with the default answers! Yep he showed me pictures on Google as oppose to attempting to find out the root cause. DO BETTER!

He's a bad uneducated doctor who will take your money and spend 90 seconds with you showing you pictures of your problems on a simple Google search. He just gives you bad prescriptions. Try him out if you don't believe me. I have rosacea and he told me I would have it forever and my face is disgusting and pictures of people with rosacea are disgusting. Try him out don't take my word. I cured my rosacea w diet Google that instead. He's a Chinese doctor btw so him being rude is normal. Go see him I'm not making this up for a bad review, I'm just laying down the facts. Dr. Chip put my son on Accutane with a plan that this 6 month extensive drug intervention plan would be effective for long term acne management. My son endured muscle pain throughout the treatment to the point that walking hurt and running was almost impossible for the entire 6 month timeline. Then after his drug completion his acne was back in just 3 months. I also made the mistake of letting him evaluate me for a discolored mole I had. He recommended extensive tissue removal despite zero cancerous cells. I agreed after his long lecture of people dying from skin cancer. Then he makes bogus insurance claims stating the need to re-test my non-cancerous elective skin removal procedure. Excellent Dr.

I have been treated by Dr, Chhiap many times. It's easy to make an urgent appointment and he accommodates all my strange and sudden symptoms. He lets me know when something is serious and when we can wait and watch or treat with a topical medication and then follow up. I have been treated by Dr, Chhiap many times. It's easy to make an urgent appointment and he accommodates all my strange and sudden symptoms. He lets me know when something is serious and when we can wait and watch or treat with a topical medication and then follow up. He is personable and will engage in conversation and treats me as a whole person and not just empty skin.

I wanted to avoid a trip and the time to see a dermatologist in San Jose, so i went to Dr. Chhiap. I have a skin problem that's gotten worse, and of course I was worried it was skin cancer. The doctor told me that it was nothing to worry about, and would be gone soon with the cream he prescribed. The problem continued to get worse, and after a few more months I decided to spend the time going to a doctor in San Jose for a second opinion (I had read all the poor reviews of Dr Chhiap by this time). This new doctor took a skin sample for a lab analysis, reported to me that I had a serious issue, and now I'm undergoing treatment. Thank god I took the time to travel to a "good/competent" doctor. When I became aware of a suspicious mole, Dr Chiapp's office got me in right away. He correctly identified it as a likely melanoma. It was biopsied and confirmed as a melanoma. He sent me to an excellent plastic surgeon and it was quickly removed (Dr Melody Lynd). I now have a small scar in a relatively inconspicuous place. I was told surgery was curative. I became aware of a suscpicios mole. A friend who'd had a malignant mole removed by Dr Chiapp had first been to two other dermatologists who told her that her mole was not a problem. She recommended Dr Chiapp strongly and I'm very glad I went. Dr Chiapp got me in quickly, biopsied the mole and referred me to a plastic surgeon for removal. It's all gone now. He is an excellent dermatologist and I feel fortunate to have gone to him.

The staff was friendly and Dr. Chiapp was very professional and took care of the my problem right away.
