After reading all the one star reviews I completely agree with the extremely poor communication from the staff. One day before my surgery the office manager Victoria calls me to tell me my endoscopy and colonoscopy was not approved!! This was scheduled since november 2022, my procedure was on march 14 2023. Victoria tells me that I have to call the billing dept. So, I, the patient had to do her job, that I was paying her to do. I am a primary health care provider, took TWO DAYS OFF, CANCELLED MY PATIENTS FOR THIS PROCEDURE AND VICTORIA TELLS ME AT THE LAST MINUTE IT WASNT APPROVED!! Contacted billing , took 2 hours OF MY TIME to get the approval. Victoria told me if the approval wasn’t submitted by 3:00 pm they would reschedule; she waited till 12:00 to inform me!! Shame on you Victoria for putting a patient through unnecessary stress when you were in fact notified by the billing dept back in January 2023!!! MY ADVISE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE! They DO NOT CARE!

My husband was schd for a colonoscopy and did the whole bowel regimen day before... They called confirmed appt day before and on day of procedure, foud out it was canceled at the hospital. Per hospital, we were suppose to be notified by his office. Such a disappointment...

HORRIBLE!!!! After my Endoscopy and colonoscopy I had stomach cramps for weeks still do. I called and left messages every single day for 5 weeks because NO ONE answers the phone at this office. The girl I finally spoke to was Christine her response was "oh yea I got your messages" you didn't think to call me back?? I received a call over a month ago from the Nurse Practitioner who submitted a prescription for me. It was declined. tried finding her to fix it, apparently she has disappeared from the planet. tried google all her listings she "supposedly" works at she doesn't. I still have cramps that I didn't have prior to this Doctor getting his hands on me. Thank god for my regular Doctor who is amazing with his patients. Took up the slack of this crappy office and was able to help me. There lucky I live so far away the urge to cuss them out in person has crossed my mind but after seeing the other results I am not alone in my anger. If it was life or death I would be dead.

Took 2 months to get an appointment. Despite the wait, Mittal didn’t bother to show up, just a PA. She convinced me to have an endoscopy. Another 6 week wait. They called me and confirmed the procedure Monday. Did the whole miserable cleanse procedure. Friday morning arrived at the hospital, no one had a clue about my appointment. Waited over an hour as they attempted to contact Mittal. Walked out, never again with Mittal. Still no call from his office, and obviously no apology.

I had a much better experience than many who posted. In 2010, I previously had an endoscopy thru another doctor who diagnosed me with Barrett's Esophagus. I was told I would be taking Omeprazole for life which is not desirable. In 2016, I decided to go to Dr. Mittal to get a different opinion. He took about 12 biopsies around my esophagus, and said that although my condition looked like Barrett's, it was not. I then phased off the Omeprazole and have been fine since. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Mittal for helping me to get off a medication that most recommend taking for less than two years. I recall the wait time in the office was a bit long but also remember that Dr. Mittal was very thorough in his explanations and I never felt rushed. This year, I decided to book a reservation with Dr. Mittal for a colonoscopy. There were some discrepancies between what Anthem would cover and what type of facility it would need to be performed at. I had multiple calls with both Anthem and Victoria from Dr. Mittal's scheduling department. Victoria was wonderful! She was always friendly. despite my many calls to her. She always answered her phone with a "smile" and was helpful in addressing my needs. I had a much better experience than many who posted. I have my referral with them form 5 months ago and they told me from October 20 that I will get everything done by 3 weeks but took them more then 4 months I been calling them they answered but they’ll say just hold for moments they they put me on leave a message voicemail and no one responded to my voicemail

The worse customer services I have seen so far, since two month s they are not able to submit the prior authorization form to my insurance every day I go there and I spoke with them and they telling lie lie you will get your medication today or tomorrow today and tomorrow. Dr Mittal saved my life. After detecting cancer he fast-tracked my follow-up care with the oncologist and surgeon. Thank you Dr. Mittal

Customer service is horrible. The staff doesn't return phone call messages with regards to, scheduling appointments, lab information, and pertinent information with an upcoming appointment. I've had to resort to driving to their office multiple days in a row to get answers about anything, due to the fact they don't pick up the phone. Don't trust the staff to send over your labs to any place either. You will be disappointed when you show up to your appointment and lab requests weren't submitted as stated. I'd give this place negative stars if I could. I will not return to this place of business again, and definitely wouldn't recommend this doctor's office to anyone. Customer service is horrible. Dr.Vivek Mittal performed a endoscopy procedure on me and made me feel very comfortable. The nurses at St. Agnes were considerate, kind and helpful. Dr.Mittal took the time to reassure me at our consultation before beginning the procedure and reassured me that it is a safe procedure. He was caring &listened to my concerns. He even relaxed me with his positive attitude & sense humor which definitely eased my anxiety about the endoscopy. It was quick & returned home to my loved ones pain free. Connie is completely incompetant! For 6 weeks we’ve waited for this office to call in a prescription and still nothing! Find a different doctor cuz this place is a joke!

This Dr office is a complete joke. I highly advise you to do your research before you step foot in this office. I don't know how Dr Vivek Mittal got his licence to practice. He did nothing to help me with my condition. I've had to demand to be referred to a specialist. Connie his receptionist is constantly lying saying she's calling in prescriptions and referrals but never does. You wait almost an hour with an appointment. Then taken to a room for another 30 to 45 min wait . Dr will step in for less then a minute. He don't answer any questions. Just reschedule for your next appointment. Worst place to get medical advice. Do not go here. They don't care about your health or helping you get better. I really feel like they didn't care if I live or died. I had this Doctor confused with another doctor. I gave this doctors office a bad review and for that I am sorry. I know from speaking to manger that they do go out of their way to clear up any misunderstanding and correct any errors ,which in my case I was at fault. The wait to see him is excruciating. For a 9:15 appointment, I didn't even get called back to a room until 10:40. Then it was almost another hour until he came in. I wanted to bill him for my time off from work.

This is an update on my previous post. Dr. Mittal took the time to call me and explain that due to all the medications I take, an all the illnesses I have, I did not react as I should have to the Versaid. He expressed concern over the pain I felt. I appreciate his call and explaination.
