Dr. Hugec is very knowledgeable in the field of oncology. Patients can be assured prescribed treatment is the best protocol for them.

Dr. Hugec was suggested to myself through my doctor. I am so pleased with that suggestion. Dr. Hugec is very knowledgeable on all current cancer care and was a fountain of knowledge and help throughout my treatments. He and his team were the best thing for helping me through this.

I see Dr. Hugec along with Dr. Kwon from the Mayo Clinic on my metastasized prostate cancer. It has been nine years with Dr. Hugec!

I have been seeing Dr. Hugec for over 10 years now. I feel comfortable enough with him to ask him about any concern I have and know that he will listen and offer good advice. I really appreciate the depth of his medical knowledge.

Smart doctor. Helping me with my future

Dr Hugec was a wonderful oncologist for my mom so when I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, my family and myself would only go see him! He is very knowledgeable in all different cancers and always has my best interest especially when I’m not sure what to do. He takes his time with me, explains everything thoroughly and also gives great recommendations. He even shows me things on the monitor to explain things clearly which helps me understand easier. He has even caught things on my petscan that may be alarming but he always makes me feel at peace! I highly recommend him!

Dr Hugec is the Best Cancer Dr Ever.!He has been my Oncologists and treated my CML.2006. I Trust Him More Than I Do or have anyone in my life.. He is caring and knows what is best for me and his patients. His dedication to his profession and patients are impeccable and the integrity of a true Hero in so many lives that he's touched. As usual he summarized my latest reports. He asked me for any concerns I have. He reported a low score in anemia, discussed the ramifications and he offered recommendations for diet….vegetables, oatmeal etc. as well as pro-biotic chewable….places the supplements were available….e.g. Target. He scheduled me for a body scan which was coming due…and he checked on what we had discussed the previous month and outcomes !

Dr. Hugec has given me great care. His explanations are clear and easily understood. After leaving his office I never have questions. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. I recomend him highly.

Dr Hugec is experienced and wise. He’s always read up on current studies, and I like how he often quotes studies about how our own exercise and nutrition play a part. Since cancer feels like being out of control, he encourages us with data, to keep doing that which we have control over. He’s very familiar with the latest drugs, treatments, new findings. When things looked bleak 2 years ago, he guided us in a new direction. When PSMA testing came out he put us right in line to get that. My uncle has had a comeback he wouldn’t have gotten under another doctor. We feel our care is in good hands. He’s a good doctor.

Dr. Hugec was kind, knowledgeable, sympathetic and straight to the point. He did not rush me in my questioning and made me feel like I was his only patient.

Dr. Hugec is awesome and my care team is awesome! They show me nothing but love and care regarding my health.

Dr Hugec is my Oncologist. He has guided me through my journey with prostate cancer. My journey has included chemo and radiation treatments. Dr Hugec runs a very efficient ship. When we have our consultations, he presents my individual plan of attack. His genius inspires me to really hit my cancer hard. He is very thoughtful and caring with his patients. I am in remission now. Yet, I have more work to do. I will never forget his compassion and genius. I want a cure and I know who will lead me there. Thank you Dr Hugec.

I work with Dr. Hugec since 2018. I’m looking to see if he fulfilled the changing of my hydroxy I am waiting to see if the change was complete and only then can I rate if everything was acceptable.I am still waiting for the change

Dr Hugec gets right to the point and patiently answers all my questions. He doesn’t jack around and he doesn’t pull any punches. He says it the way it is.

My wife and I met with Dr Hugec after I had been hospitalized with sepsis, very low blood pressure and atrial fibrillation. After 42days in the hospital. It was a relief to talk about these issues and the impact on my cancer. He interpreted the findings and made treatment options. We left the appointment feeling confident in his treatment recommendations. I would recommend family and friends.

He was also my husband's oncologist and did a remarkable job of taking care of him!!! I would recommend him to anyone who asks without hesitation.

Dr. Hugec had several novel avenues of diagnostics, but did not do the definitive test until the disease had rapidly progressed.

Dr Hugec is very positive, competent approach to our treatment plan. He reviewed the tests and indicated the fact that treatment is moving in the right direction. I will see him again in 3 months. He is concerned about the issue of UTIs and encouraged contact with Dr Polcari re: Foley. I am changing it every month. Dr Hugec seemed to approve that. Dr H is quick and very positive in working with me. I would like to have him review the “why” of blood work and he mention liver … what is that concern. I certainly would recommend him to others.

The treatment I have been receiving from Dr. Hugec and his team seems to be working. Of course that makes me very happy and makes it easy to leave a positive feedback. I have been seeing Dr Hugec as a referral from the Mayo Clinic roughly 20 months. I wasn't sure what to expect when I had my first consultation. I left knowing and feeling that my health mattered to him, I wasn't another #. Dr Hugec and his team were right there with me thru treatments and continued follow up. Met him in 2008 when I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Finished maintenance treatments in 2011. Cancer free for 10 years now. A couple of years ago I needed a hematologist, and contacted him for help. My blood iron levels are now back to normal. Both illnesses were handled with kindness, patience and his expertise. My concerns and questions were always addressed in my visits. I feel lucky to have been referred to his care.
