Dr. Wayne Allen Hopper

This dentist was seriously beyond rude. I’m a chronic illness patient & have worked with many doctors, I have never been treated so badly or talked to so rudely. When I’m supposed to be trusting my life & teeth in the hands of this man and I don’t even feel the slightest bit respected, what am I supposed to do? I would not trust him with anyones life. I waited months to get into an appointment and left in tears after he scolded me for missing a couple appointments at a different clinic because I became homeless & had no transportation to get to them or way to contact them. He wouldn’t even allow me to explain he just said my teeth are “rotting” because of my “refusal” to do restorative work when in reality before moving to this city I had consistent annual cleanings & care my entire life. Please, please go elsewhere.

If you are LGBT presenting please go to anyone else. He will profile you. I did not feel safe working with him to the point that I left the appointment within minutes. He was unprofessional and rude. It literally scared me.

Dr Hopper brought me considerable relief and hope for a brighter tomorrow. He met all my expectations for a dentist...a courteous and truthful diagnosis, expedient treatment that offered me renewed trust in the medical profession. I left his office painfree and happy.

Dr. Hopper has been taking care of my mother and I for 4 years now. We are very pleased with his service, his wonderful staff, and his caring manner. He has gone out of his way to help with dental needs that are not a part of his expertise through referrals and providing information to better enable us to make dental service decisions. I love the fact that, when time permits, Dr. Hopper and Tam, his receptionist take time to talk with their patients in an informal friendly manner. It makes us feel like family when we walk in.

I would highly encourage anyone who wants to receive even the slightest amount of decent dental care to look elsewhere than Wayne Hopper. This 'doctor' was possibly the most unprofessional, rude, indecent and overall terrible healthcare provider (or lack thereof) that I have ever encountered. I came in for a filling as well as a cleaning. He kept on missing the exact spot in my gums where you're supposed to administer the anesthetic and when I realized I still wasn't numb he laughed it away as I was writhing in pain. But that was the least of my worries. As a woman I felt somewhat violated as I could see his eyes above me shift downwards where my blouse would be. This happened several times, enough to notice what was going on. That and the fact that I could overhear him in the other room making a lewd remark as I was leaving convinced me never to come again. Overall there are plenty of other dentists to choose from, even if it sometimes means taking the extra effort to drive farther. I could go on and on regarding my visit but it would just be beating a dead horse. Having said that ride your horse far away from this man and his questionable establishment.

I have spent the past 5 years trying to make up for years of dental neglect. 5 years of torture and enough money to put a kid through a year of college. I switched to this practice; they treated me with care, compassion, tact. The receptionist went out of her way to point out I could get a discount with a coupon in the $0.50 local,paper. As of right now, 5 stars and above.

I have been seeing Dr. Hopper since he began his practice in Rogue River. He's fixed a broken tooth, provided a root canal, replaced a few fillings and provided routine check-ups. He's unfailingly courteous, professional, calm, and thorough.

We are new to Rogue River and were looking for a dentist who accepted Cigna discount plan. We were very pleased with our visit/exam with Dr. Hopper and his office staff.
