Dr. Wayne E Moschetti

Simply said Dr. Moschetti is exceptional as is his entire health care team. Incredibly caring about me as a person from start to finish. (Hip replacement, October 2022).

Dr. Moschetti completed my left knee replacement in November of 2021 and the right knee replacement in February of 2022. It has been a great experience all the way. It is May of 2022 and I am able to do all the things I did before I was impacted by osteoarthritis in both knees starting in 2010. I am thrilled with the results and cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff in his office and the care I received from them and the staff at the Alice Peck Day surgery center. Dr. Moschetti was attentive and supportive throughout the process. So grateful to all who took care of me!

Left hip replacement November. 100% back by March.

Dr. Moschetti performed a right hip replacement for me in November 2021. From the pre-op visits, to surgery day, to the OR professionals, to recovery, to rehab, and responsiveness to post-op questions Dr Moschetti's team and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center exceeded expectations. I did extensive research prior to surgery and chose DHMC and Dr. Moschetti specifically and am glad that I did! Quality Health care, superb outcomes and reasonable pricing! Bravo, Job Well Done!

Superb person, excellent surgeon. I had both my knees replace in the past 6 months, now cross country skiing 12 weeks after my second surgery, great experience,perfect surgical result??

My hip replacement surgery was seamless. I chose and met the criteria for day surgery in Alice Peck Day Hospital. The nursing staff, Doctors, assistants were all professional, courteous and sympathetic to my pre-surgery fears. The operation was quick with no complications. My immediate recovery was handled with care and attention by Doctors, nurses, and physical therapists. I left the hospital that day knowing I made the right decision.

After a fall, I learned I needed a hip replacement. Everything went smoothly and every staff member I encountered was kind, patient, helpful, and focused on me. All my questions were answered and special needs accommodated. I will return to NH to have Dr. Moschetti replace my knees as well. Wouldn't think of having anyone else do it.

Dr. Moschetti is responsible for the overall operation of the surgical orthopedic department, he was originally scheduled to perform my procedure, but due to unforeseen conditions had to hand it off o Dr. Orem. My care , follow-up and the concern displayed by his staff was exemplary.

Dr. Moschetti was everything you would hope for in your doctor and your surgeon. I could not be happier with hip replacement. From Dr. Moschetti to the support staff to the hospital a first class 5 star operation. Thank you!

Dr. Moschetti does great work! He replaced both of my hips. He is personable, answers all my questions, is on time and has a great team!

After thorough research I selected Dr. Moschetti for my hip surgeries. Just had my second surgery yesterday. Results of my first surgery, In October, are ongoing, but so far have been wonderful. Results from yesterday’s surgery seem to be following the same path. Wayne presents himself well. His level of confidence and experience are just what I was looking for. I recommend him without reservation. I also recommend the medical center- from my first visit to my discharge, I was impressed with the care and friendliness of all the staff.

Originally, I went to see Dr. Moschetti for a total right knee replacement, which he performed in April 2019. The surgery went very well with little post-op discomfort or complication. During pre-op visits, Dr. Moschetti noted that my original (20+ year old) right hip replacement had worn out. Additional issues surfaced including the fact that replacement parts were no longer available and that there was erosion within the hip bone. Dr. Moschetti identified compatible parts. Hip surgery was successfully performed in September 2019, again with little post-op discomfort or complication. Dr. Moschetti and his team were informative and helpful at every step from pre-op through to recovery.

I was told what to expect and it largely happened as explained. I was back to normal activities within a month and hiking within two. Now three months out pain has largely subsided and I am very happy with the total experience. I do not wish to minimize the sometimes difficult and painful journey but if you have a positive attitude and a recovery goal, Dr. Moschetti and his team can help you reach it!

A great surgeon. Really knows his stuff, and the use of the Force program helped me to recover at my own pace without multiple follow up visits.

End to end, Dr. Moschetti and his team (as well as Dartmouth Hitchcock) exceeded my expectations....and I am an alum who has had interactions but never treatment with medical personnel through the years. So my expectations were high, compounded by the fact that my neighbor, also an orthopedic surgeon, had his artificial hip revised by Dr. Moschetti and recommended him extremely highly. (And our neighbor has been our family orthopedist for 40 years). The icing on the cake was when I noted that Dr M. also has a degree in Public Health, somewhat uncommon in the medical community. I have found through the years that a physician who picks up a PH degree almost always has a greater interest in educating the patient and is more sensitive to his/her role in the medical profession and community at large. That assumption, I believe, rang loud and clear in his case. I couldn't be happier with the process and the outcome. Thank you so much, Dr. Moschetti and team.

I had a Rt THR in early July 2019 for severe and debilitating hip pain due to osteoarthritis. I chose Dr. Moschetti because he is very experienced in anterior approach procedure which generally heals quicker and has shorter overall recovery. I can't say enough great things about Dr. M. He is personable, professional, and seems very empathetic. He is awesome at answering questions without making you feel rushed or as if your questions are annoying or insignificant. He made me feel as if I was his only patient and like he truly cared about my perioperative experience. I went to the OR in pain, and awoke pain free in my Rt hip. For the first time in approximately 6 years. It was amazing. I have remained pain free since. I think Dr Moschetti is wonderful! I never hesitate to recommend him to anyone contemplating hip replacement.

Dr. Moschetti was wonderful through this entire experience, as was his whole team. He listened to me me about my concerns and educated me on the whole process. I highly recommend him.

Everything is explained and laid out in a way that makes you eager to have the surgery done. The support and communication always reminds you that you are not in this alone. Dr. Moschetti is terrific as is everyone else that came in contact with me! I should have done this sooner!!

Dr modchetti, David, Daniel, and nurse Sydney made my experience very successful after my first hip replacement I quickly signed up for my second replacement and was completely satisfied with their personal attention and care

Dr. Moschetti and his entire team are the best. To be fair, I was in good shape except for an arthritic left hip before I had my hip replaced. Walker one night, off narcotics in four days, finished with cane after 5 days, driving in 6 days, lots of no-pain walking followed by 4 real hikes in weeks 5&6. Looking forward now to a slow return to golf. Highly, highly recommend! Thanks for giving me back a normal life.

Phenomenal from start to finish. Could not imagine a better overall process or outcome.

Dr. Moschetti and his staff are very competent, friendly, and professional. My surgical experience was positive, and my issues were handled in a timely manner.

From pre surgery to the surgery and then post surgery I felt I was being cared for in a way that reduced any risks to a minimum and assured my complete recovery. It was successful in that immediately after operation right hip pain was gone. It was not only Dr. Moscetti but his whole team that made it all work.

I can't imagine going to any other orthopedist. Dr. Moschetti is the best of the best. His attitude and professionalism is outstanding.

I had 2 total hip replacements, both with outstanding outcomes. The appointments are always on time, and the support staff is great.

This, my first hip replacement, could not have gone better. Every scheduled appointment was on time; Every effort was made to educate me in advance as to what to expect; the operation went without a problem and the recovery period was right on target. I was virtually pain free within 7 or 8 weeks and have remained so. I would highly recommend Dr. Moschetti and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital.

I cannot imagine better surgical experiences or outcomes than the two I had with Dr. Moschetti. I highly recommend Dr. Moschetti to anyone who needs hip replacement.

He was the only orthopedic doctor I saw that took my pain seriously. Within a week of my first appointment I had surgery. My pain ended. I would recommend him to anyone with an orthopedic problem. Thank so much!

I was fortunate to have Dr Moschetti recently replace my hip (anterior approach). He was very approachable, knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon. I was able to return home the same day I had the surgery. Every single interaction with him was professional and informative. I highly recommend him!
