Doctor Rogers did an excellent job identifying and treating the skin cancer that was on my forehead and face. He fully explained the treatment plan and I 100% follow the directions. The rough scaly skin is now 100% healed and is nice and smooth. This was a process over 7 weeks. I went back for follow up visits and they always went well

I always arrange an early morning appointment so I can make it to work. After arriving on time for my appointment, I sat in the waiting room for over 15 minutes and then was escorted back to a treatment room where I sat for over 45 minutes. Looking into the hall, there was no one to alert and, having to leave for work, I left. Upon calling to reschedule, they informed me of a $50 ‘no-show’ fee necessary to get an appointment. It was actually the doctor and staff that were ‘no-show’ - perhaps I should have billed them. Overbooking to fill time slots is a no-go for me. Dr. Wayne Rogers is retiring as of today 4/29/2021. He has always shown me the highest level of care and is an exceptionally gentle, kind, doctor who takes his time to explain everything in easy to understand language. I’ll miss him, but hope that he enjoys his retirement to the fullest

I regret that I didn't check the reviews before my appointment. All negative reviews about Dr. Rogers make sense after my visit. He barely looked at my skin, gave a very vague diagnosis (which I already knew from my two visits to Urgent Care). When I asked about some tests, he looked quite offended and rejected my request. He gave me a brochure to read where it says that "Testing, such as allergy tests, blood work or a skin biopsy, may be necessary". Yep... BTW, he left room before I shared all the symptoms with him and the nurse didn't even want to bring him back. After starting a medication he prescribed, my condition got worse. I had to go to Urgent Care again. I definitely will not be back and hopefully my feedback (and lots of others) will help people to stay away from this doctor.

This was the most ridiculous “dermatologist” ever. Dr. Fox rushed everything and was in the room for 1 minute to cut my skintag off which hurt like hell. I do not recommend this place at all! It’s very ghetto and unprofessional.

Called to set an appointment after 10 years and was hit with....."you must pay a$50 no show balance before setting appointment" they said I made this appointment March of 2017. Well news flash I was going through breast cancer March 2017 I didn't need dermatology!!!! My ENTIRE CANCER TEAM WAS IN CHARLESTON! Run away from this place, not only was the lady who answered not listening that I couldn't have made that appointment, she was really stuck on$50 . No wonder your office is 2.7 in reviews, and I was willing to try again, against the reviews. Goes to show, the reviews DON'T LIE! It's way too many places out here. .....this is my “opinion. I visited this office for many many months , only to witness my psoriasis get worse! Due to lab work , I was instructed to discontinue one medication which had shown marginal improvement. I was never provided an alternative medication nor a follow-up appointment. Wait times are ridiculous. My daughter and I went here for 2 years. In the beginning, he did help me because I was having some hair loss issues due to my recent diagnosis of Lupus at that time. Well, apparently we missed an appointment that had been set up so when I called back the admin lady informed me that we didn’t show up for an appointment so before I could schedule another I would have to pay a $50 fee. I told the lady we had never missed an appointment and wasn’t aware the appointment had been scheduled. The lady did not care and would not waive the fee. Honestly speaking, I really didn’t want to continue to be a patient here because Dr. Fox doesn’t take the time needed with us. He would write me the same prescription every month with no refills so I would have to come back every month and continue to pay a $60 copay every month. This place does not care about really taking care of their patients or discovering what is really going on. I will never pay them $50 for missing one appointment and then pay $60 copay. Don’t waste your time going here to receive mediocre service and for the doctor to see you 2.5 seconds and send you on your way. Find a dermatologist who genuinely want to help you and not take your money and you leave with no results. My daughter and I went here for 2 years. I have had ringworm on my leg for 3 months. Dr. Fox walks in and doesnt care to look at it at all and announces its just bug bites. He prescribes me a steroid which makes it worse and spreads! After a couple weeks of that catastrophe i call and make a second appointment in which, again without looking, claims it to be psoriasis. He again gives me a plethora of creams (which im scared of at this point) and a 30 day supply of antibiotics, 2 a day, 60 pills. ???? After a month of no success I go back and he prescribes 4 more creams and another supply of a month of the same antibiotics once a day for 30 days. So within 2 1/2 months ive been given 11 different creams and 90 pills of antibiotics. I didnt even fill the last months supply of prescriptions. I went and bought 2 tubes if Lotriman and stayed consistent with applying it and a week later of over the counter cream its FINALLY GONE. I do NOT recommend this place. I do not trust his judgement and its frightening how he, so freely, writes out lengthy prescriptions. Please seek another dermatologist. I have had ringworm on my leg for 3 months. This physician performed a treatment on my face (without explaining the followup care in advance). Had I known the recovery process I would never have agreed to it. He grabbed the can and sprayed so quickly I didn't even have time to object or ask questions! I had 2 weeks of large red peeling mess on the tip of my nose to correct what looked like a freckle. And it was not cancer or precancer, just elective treatment. When he offered to take care of it I thought he was going to apply a topical cream and instead he sprayed liquid nitrogen onto my face without warning or telling me in advance! He is irresponsible and deserves to be out of business. His staff acts like battered women--that was my first clue that something is terribly wrong with this practice. Avoid! Fortunately my nose healed up or he would be hearing from me! I later researched appropriate treatment for liver spots and liquid nitrogen is not a first choice since it can leave a scar. If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been going here for years and the customer service has declined. I have been going to Rogers Dermatology for over 10 years. Wayne Rogers is nice but just like all of the other reviews say, he is in and out just trying to quickly get rid of you. That’s how it makes me feel anyway. So I decided I would go to the other doctor (Fox) in the office. I’ve seen him before and thought he was a little more personable until today. When I stared asking questions showing concern about what he was prescribing he clearly got offended and wanted out of there. He told me I have been reading to much! He then said “I’ve got to move on, I have other patients”. The nurse then told him he had 2 more issues of mine to address. The waiting room was packed. This is clearly a place that is just concerned with money. They don’t care about people. I have been going to Rogers Dermatology for over 10 years. Horrible Doctor! He never did a skin culture, skin scraping, or looked under the microscope. My skin became really dark and very itchy. He always gave me triamcinolone. He called me in a antidepressant w/o informing me. I overheard him tell his nurse "I don't care what she thinks". I asked him what kind of Dr would say something like that. I told him it was time to terminate our relationship requested my records and left. I had yeast on my skin, psedamonas A. and klebsiella, which can be fatal.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Rogers. The nurse didn't listen to my symptoms, she just told me that I had a certain condition that would go away in several months. When Dr. Rogers came in, HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT MY RASH. He literally came in for 1 minute, signed off on a prescription, and shut me down when I asked him more questions insisting that he knew what he was talking about. Turns out, he did give me the completely wrong diagnosis-- probably because he didn't take two seconds to double check and look at my rash. It was completely unethical for him to make a diagnosis based on the nurse's opinion. I spent time and a lot of time/ money, and now (a year and a half later) I am spending more money to solve a problem that is still there and has gotten worse. Every time I would call with concern over the rash, the staff told me to "wait it out" because it will go away--very rudely might I add. Please avoid Dr. Rogers at all cost. I said " I don't have Medicaid" what changed with my insurance. Then she states "Nothing changed you just have to pay $50 before he can see you. After being a patient here for over 20 some years I never felt more betrayed. I think Dr. Rogers and his associate Dr. Fox have taken on way to many patients. I feel I have become just a number on a patient log and not a person. The lack of care is unbelievable. They say they call and make reminder calls but that is not true. I was in need of an urgent appointment and live nearly an hour away from Dr. Roger's office, but his staff worked with my own busy schedule to get me in. I have been back a few times since that 1st appointment. Honestly, I read these reviews and expected to walk into a horrible environment. Dr. Rogers and his staff have been wonderful to me. They have worked with my schedule, the distance (trying to get to them from so far away via I-85 is a total disaster all the time - it was completely shut down for hours one morning preventing me from making it to 1 appointment at all), and most importantly my difficult health issues. I have a diagnosis, which Dr. Rogers (and his staff) have worked endlessly to treat. I just want to say thank you to his entire staff! I was in need of an urgent appointment and live nearly an hour away from Dr. Roger's office, but his staff worked with my own busy schedule to get me in. I have been back a few times since that 1st appointment. Honestly, I read these … More

Coming to Dr. Wayne Rogers office for many years. He seems to be knowledgeable and show true concern. The staff is a total nightmare. So I tried to ignore them to just wait to deal with him. After yesterdays appointment, if you want to call it that, I now wonder that he HAS to know of all his staff's nonsense. Hung up on by Sabrina after said said they are busy and and I need to get some patience. This is while am at the pharmacy waiting after a month to get a prescription the nurse up

Turns out, he did give me the completely wrong diagnosis-- probably because he didn't take two seconds to doubl

Rude staff. Very cold environment all around. I wrote this review to help you guys out because I work at a medical office and my boss would want to know what people's honest opinions were so that you can improve. If I don't see any improvement it must mean you don't care, but you are losing patients big time. I had a friend to came to see you guys recently and said the same thing. Rude staff. came in for my son having major peeling and chaffed skin on just his feet (he is 21 months old) we waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room ( there is no tv and no toys for kids)...we got there early to fill out paper work because they told us to and didnt get the paper work until 5 mins before we went back, the nurse was very inpersonable, i dobt even think she spoke to my son or husband and the only words to me was why was he here. we saw the doctor which my son was terrified always has been of doctors and he was crying instead of trying to calm our son down, attempting to talk to him, anything...he gets aggravated that he cannot hear us over him crying, then gives us the ointment version of the same medicine we already had and two prescriptions for itching when i specifically told him he does not scratch and it does not itch him. i wouldnt want to inconvenience the doctor anymore by going back. it wasnt a good experience and i cancelled our next appointment. i wouldnt recommend this place. There are so many dermatologists out there you would think you need to actually make a good experience for your patients in order to keep them. came in for my son having major peeling and chaffed skin on just his feet (he is 21 months old) we waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room ( there is no tv and no toys for kids)...we got there early to fill out paper work because … More

Dr. Rogers, having been asked if he would fill out a form that allows someone who needs to spend even less time in the sunlight to obtain a handicapped placard, outright refused based on principle. He didn't make this decision based on a medical opinion or even a review of my case. If he believed, based on medical evaluation, that such a placard was unnecessary, I would have at least, though disappointed, accepted his assessment. However, that is not the case; he won't even consider it because he "doesn't do that" as the rude, condescending staff have told me. The snappy staff were unreasonable to the point of being unprofessional. Despite these measures, I am still getting sick, but apparently I should just tell my disease "I should be fine" so it'll quit flaring up. In order to protect myself from the sunlight and avoid aggravating a condition that I have just like my previous dermatologist advised, I apply sunscreen every day, wear hats and protective clothing, and use an umbrella as a parasol (despite the ridicule it sometimes affords me). All I've been told is "I should be fine," and this is based on nothing. I wonder how many other patients have told "They should be fine" based on this dismissive attitude. When it comes to my condition, I can without exaggeration or lack of self-awareness say I'm not a belly-acher. I don't complain or ask for special treatment because, most of the time, I can manage it without calling attention to myself any more than absolutely necessary. If anything, I find my condition embarrassing and I'd just like to dismiss it and move on. So, when someone decides I'm like that for no reason at all, especially someone who supposedly swears to help people, I can't help but get a little offended at the implication. Suffice it to say, I wouldn't recommend going to a doctor that inserts his personal views over helping people when given the choice. Let me start, by saying the Dr. and staff were great. HOWEVER, I was completely shocked by what I encountered. I drove an hour with my son to an 8:15am appointment. We arrived at 8:05, I signed him in as a new patient and we took our seat in the waiting room. The waiting room was nice, very modern, very clean, nice music, and full of well dressed people. I felt like we were waiting in a high end spa or a similar environment. At 8:20am, I was called to the window. The receptionist informed me that our appointment would be handled in their other building, across the parking lot. So we walked over there. Upon entering, it smelled horrible, was packed, dirty looking, small room with wood grain walls, two pieces of art, and no nice atmosphere or music. Looking around it became evident that we just got segregated to the "poor people" waiting room, or.. Medicaid waiting room rather. You see, my son was adopted through foster care system. In doing so, the state allowed him to keep their medicaid insurance until he is 18. Since his medicaid is better than my blue cross or my husbands state plan insurance, we were happy to keep it. Never being one with medicaid though, it blew me away the differences between both waiting facilities and how different this office treats people they perceive as poor. My son will not be back to be treated like he is less of a person because of whether he does or does not have paid for health insurance. Guessing the more positive reveiws come from "the other side of the parking lot". SMH. Let me start, by saying the Dr. and staff were great. HOWEVER, I was completely shocked by what I encountered. I wish that there was a way that you could give 0 stars, because that is what they deserve. The staff is rude, the doctor wasn't helpful at all, and my son didn't benefit from it at all. He was sent there for a skin condition, and the doctor never did anything for him and the condition has just gotten worse. He was supposed to have a doctors appointment last Monday, but I had to reschedule because of car trouble. It was rescheduled to today. We got there, signed in, and watched as all the patients came and went, and we sat there for over an hour. I finally gave in and went to the window where the lady was very rude and asked her when she thought my son was going to be seen because we had been there for over an hour. She tells me that his appointment for today was canceled. It was not canceled by me, and why couldn't she tell me that when we signed in instead of crossing his name off the sign it sheet and making us sit there for over an hour, almost 2 hours. My son is only 5 years old so he was getting restless and had to use the restroom and the lady wouldn't tell me where the bathroom was so he ended up having an accident and the staff looked at him in disgust because of it, and then she proceeds to tell me that she can try to fit him on the schedule today before they closed. Ummm... No because he was already on the schedule and apparently they don't know how to do their jobs, so I told her not to worry about it and we walked out the door, And will not be going back. Horrible experience all the way around. Will be finding him a new dermatologist to actually do something about his skin condition. My experience at Dr. Wayne Rogers' Office, especially with the staff has been horrible. I have been a patient since 2013, and found no loyalty from him or the staff. The staff is very cold, unruly and unfriendly, especially the front staff. They are never welcoming or smiling, barely look up, and do not greet you when you sign in. Dr. Rogers is very professional and caring towards me, but the nurses and other staff are not! I live in ATL and it takes me almost 2 hours to get there.

I refused to sign their 24 hr notice for cancellation and accept a $50 charge. Stated I would gladly sign it if they would amend the agreement to refund ME $50 if I was not seen within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. They refused and suggested that I seek another dermatologist. I guess their time is important, but mine is not.

May 2015 - been a patient for many years. Had an appointment at 3pm, still not seen at 4:15 (waiting area over flowing). Questioned the receptionest and the manager regarding overbooking. Had to leave before being seen. Attempted to obtain an appt with Dr Rogers and was told I could no longer see him, unless I was willing to pay an additional $50.00 because I cancelled an appointment in 2014. Dr. Fox's office is a joke. My husband works in Corpus Christi, TX. and I called to schedule him an appt. weeks ago for today when he was flying home. Works outside in TX, has a spot on this temple that could be skin cancer, and has bad eczema on his back that requires shots. The rude nurse came in and told him they could only see him for one thing and for him to choose. We spent $467 for a plane ticket for him to get him to see the doctor, and it's not like he can run in on his lunch hour. Nothing was said when I booked the appointment about a one shot diagnosis and to choose what he wants looked out. He has been a patient here for years. See this group at your own risk. I was misdiagnosed twice at this office. And only seen for my appointment for Atleast 2 minutes . It's like he just looks at your skin and says what's on his mind . Now after one year later, I'm still suffering with my skin condition and can't seem to find a dermatologist who I can trust and who can treat my symptoms correctly .

I've never been treated so rudely by a doctor before. It started with me being mocked for nursing my 8 month old son, followed by him telling me that I was not being honest about having an appointment scheduled with him, and it ended with him telling me that it was unfortunate that I had wasted my time driving out of my way to see him and that I should take my business elsewhere. I just needed a mole removed and not to be exposed to anything that could affect my infant son.

The office as not as clean as expected for a medical facility with black grime between floor boards, nasty orange goo under exam table tray contents, dirt and hair around sinks, etc. Artwork was borderline racist with images of African Americans working in fields whil White individuals supervised. My breaking point was when he prescribed penicillin to my daughter who is severely allergic sending her into anaphylactic shock. I called to ask him to prescribe something else and he refused.
