I had a gastric bypass in 2007. At celebration hospital by Dr Beltre. From the time I left the hospital I had problems. Literally everyday( not a lie) since I’ve been upchucking almost everything I eat or drink. I been to hospitals. Numerous Gastrologist’s, endoscopy’s. Had a stent put in and nothing has helped. I was told by a surgeon in Altamonte that I needed a revision but nobody will do it because they say they don’t want to fix another doctors mistake or that it’s too risky. I was sent to Dr Lee in celebration to try to help but all he wanted to do was put a feeding tube in because of lack of nutrition. I finally had that taken out and as of today I still have problems keeping food and liquid down, stomach’s burning, nausea, ,. I have a doctors from Volusia county that’s trying to help me, so far he’s done 3 endoscopy’s and put a stent in my stomache. Today I find out what if they can do anything to help me because he took the stent out and stretched my esophagus. And it failed as well. I can tell you this is a horrible way to have to live and no one will actually do the revision . I don’t even feel like living anymore. Against my values Dr Led told me I should ho back to Dr Beltre. So I did but I knew it wouldn’t help. I made a appointment with him and instead seen a female assistant who told me Dr Beltre wasn’t in the office. He only did surgeries. She told me they had to get my records and then she would discuss the situation with Beltre. Every time I called to see if they had my records they would say no so after awhile it’s clear they didn’t want to bother with me. If you need someone’s life up you should at least try to help them. I don’t trust Dr Beltre . So I hope this stays on your mind Dr Beltre because it’s been with me for 15 years

I had my surgery on August 5, 2021. Dr Beltre was amazing, I had my surgery in the hospital with robotic assist. I was up walking an hour after arriving in my room. Once I got home I did not need any pain medication, just walked and sipped water like I was told to do. I had no complications, no pain, minimal gas and it pushed out without issues. I am now 4 weeks to the day post op and have had no issues with food and down 42 pounds since the start. Would highly recommend Dr Beltre! Wish I would have done it sooner!

I had my surgery June 9th and the whole process was perfect. Everyone was so helpful and informative. I’m thankful I’m able to change my lifestyle.

I was referred to Dr Beltre by my sister who spoke highly of him and was even more impressed after reading these reviews, however I contacted his office over a week ago called twice gave my same information and was told that someone would contact me ( no phone call) called again today spoke to the same lady she asked the same question my birthday/ insurance carrier I was so frustrated I told her never mine. This really upsets me, I had hopes of meeting the Dr. to hopefully get started on my new journey and now to to have people being very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I'm 50 years old and I was almost 400 pounds. I had the Gastric Sleeve Surgery August 2017 by Dr. Beltre and his Wonderful caring staff. I am now under 200 pounds and I've kept it off for two years just look at my pictures Awesome & I didn't have to have any excess skin removed a Tummy Tuck or anything and I didn't do any exercising except walk my dog because of an Ankle injury. this surgery literally saved my life because of my unmanageable health problems due to my weight ie High Blood Pressure and Rods and Screws in my ankle that all bent because of my size (Ouch) and I could barely walk . I was Gorgeous as a Big Woman but Now I'm Gorgeous and Healthier. It also feels Awesome to feel Stuffed with smaller amounts of food. I had my surgery September 7th 2017 and it was the best decision for me. November 7th will mark 14 months since the surgery. My start weight was 338 and I am currently 152.4 lbs. When I had the surgery hurricane Irma was happening and Dr. Beltra called me personally to make sure I was ok because he knew I had no power. The staff are awesome along with Dr. Beltra. I live in ohio so I didn't know what to expect . I was so nervous. The staff was amazing the dr was awesome. I had my surgery 4/10/18 I lost 55lbs in almost 3 months. I had a gastric bypass with Dr Beltre and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He addresses all you needs, questions and is always there for you! His staff are just beyond kind and competent! I would and will recommend them to anyone searching for a good bariatric surgeon!!!

I love Dr. Beltre! He walked me through every step of my procedure from beginning to end. All of my appointments were efficient and helpful in my recovery and during pre-op. His team is lovely and helpful - always answering my silly questions and helping me when I need it. He performed the gastric sleeve surgery for me. I can't have this procedure done again (of course) but if I could I would go right back to him because he was amazing.

I had sleeve surgery 7 months ago. I've only lost 20 lbs. I went for a follow up apt last week explaining that I can only consume protein to loose weight. I don't have the willpower to only drink shakes and eat 0 carbs. Who can only drink shakes? I looked to doc for help. He just shrugged hi shoulders and said it will happen. I expect more from a bariatric physician. I was disappointed he told me to make sure I get in my 60 grams of protein.... And my last follow-up it was determined that I need 100 grams of protein a day to lose weight. I don't feel like he really has an interest in trying to help me. He could have at least read my chart to freshen his memory and since I'm not the easy patient who coukd loose weight simply because I had the surgery...then i guess i dont get weight loss results. When I consume food that I can chew I can only eat very little maybe 4 oz, he definitely removed most of my stomach... Which I didn't doubt that... From a 2lg to a medium in shirts and size 20 in pants to a 13 today I cry back because after all my hard trouble to loose this weight I regained it back after putting an IUD that didn't work at all for me. Dr Beltre is the most kindest, understanding, and very professional Dr I have ever met. I had a gastric by-pass 10 years ago and the 1st Dr didn't do it right. Dr Beltre fix the mess Dr Bell did but , every visit at Beltre my questions and concerns fully answer, and reassure. I never once left with unanswered questions or unease he is a very in detail man. Also some Dr treat u as a patient and only there for the money, Beltre actually takes the time to give his one on one undivided attention and establish a real patient and Dr relationship, he doesn't give you three seconds of his time and goes on to the next patient. He really enjoys being a doctor and gastric surgeon. He doesn't make you feel like he's in for the money. And he is a pleasant man to deal with. The hospital where he does his surgery the place is beautiful and everyone is welcoming and everything was smooth and got my post- op and blood work done no problem.
