I had developed what my regular cardiologist in that practice called not as bad as AFIb but more of a flutter. My heart beat was not reacting to medicine so I went into the practice and had an ekg. Dr Buchanan read my ekg and the nurse told me that I would have to have a Cardio version and TEE, whatever that means. Never having had this problem before, I asked the nurse if I could just speak with Dr. Buchanan. The answer was that in the next week he was too busy to speak with me. He never showed

Have had open heart surgery and two appointments and yet I cannot recall actually having met him. Have only dealt with nurses and PAs. I might have met him pre-op, but can't say as I met a great many doctors and had just had an heart attack.
