I want to thank Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Almaz, and their amazing staff. They are the friendliest and the most caring team. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

README: Too bad I can't display my dental work as art... Dr. Almaz practiced the science of dentistry using a laser to deal with my cavity (that was awesome), and the art of dentistry in restoring my tooth structure (that was amazing). He has an amazing fluidity to his work - he communicates extremely well, is patient, caring, great listener, and extremely precise and gentle with each step. If you are looking for a new dentist - end the search - he's the man. P.S. The facility is exactly what you would expect in Granite Bay - Exceptional!!! Find a great leader, and you'll find a great staff. I would invite them all to my birthday to have chocolate cake; but I don't want them to think I still have sugar in my diet - hahaha.

Great experience every time i go for a cleaning. Staff here are great! Cindy the Hygienist always does an exceptional job on my cleanings. While, Vicky the RDA who assists in the procedures makes your dental experience here a non stressful experience. So coming here for any type of dental work i highly recommend.

This is the most Awesome Dentist I have ever had, and I have a lot of experience. Great front office staff who really know how to explain your insurance benefits and strategies. Coolest High tech equipment with a great atmosphere. I had a broken molar replaced with a new crown in under 2 hours start to finish. Great hygienists and assistants, friendly, and knowledgeable. No pressure to do work you don't want or need.

Always amazing service with the latest modern equipment. Julie is efficient and excellent at her job. Dr Gilbert is always a pleasure to see as is Dr. Ahmaz(sp?). Both are focused on the well being of their patients.

I’ve been a patient since moving to the area 2+ years ago. The team always troubleshoots the problems and handles any necessary action with calmness, swiftness and integrity. I’ve brought my whole family to the office too. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Gilbert’s office. My sister referred me - she has been going to Dr. Gilbert for years. A few weeks ago, I had a painful broken tooth and they got me in for an appointment quickly. Dr. Almaz and Vicky put on a temporary crown and then yesterday put on my permanent crown. They are both kind, friendly, and professional. I am so grateful.

I was in this week to get an onlay on my tooth where the old one had cracked. Dr. Gilbert and his staff took great care of me, there was no pain during the procedure - and I have had no pain the day after. I would highly recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone seeking dental care.

I came here on a whim after moving to town after a tooth had been bothering me. Dr. Almaz was very thorough in figuring out the root of my problem and was able to solve it with a solution my prior dentist had never offered/mentioned. Sounds like they use the latest technology and options available there! Fast forward, I decided to make an appt a cleaning. Since I was a new patient, the doctor did a very thorough exam of my mouth, health history, pics and X-rays and then the cleaning (2 hour appt). They are very thorough there. Both doctors came in multiple times to talk, ask if we needed help; etc and both seemed very personable/gentle (which I personally like in a dentist). The hygentist and assistant were both very thorough, friendly and professional. I learned that the doctor is a native Granite Bay person. The other doctor took him under his wing of sorts. Dr. Gilbert and staff are AWESOME! I've had issues getting numb in my lower teeth and Dr. Gilbert used a special technique to help me out. I can not tell you how happy (and relieved) I am now that I've found Dr. Gilbert. Couple of other notes, 1) you know how some dentist offices push products and services on you (almost a hard sell)... I've never had that feeling with Dr. Gilbert 2) his bedside manor is second to none. Not that this is a huge deal but it is nice to have a dentist that you can talk to (and you know he's listening). My wife and I have been with Dr. Gilbert's Dentistry for over 15 years...the office and treatment rooms are always spotless, have state of the art equipment, and the staff are wonderful...Dr. G. is a truly skilled and caring dentist.

This was my first appointment at Dr. Gilbert's office. I found the office staff very friendly and helpful. Vanessa was the technician who assisted Dr. Almaz and she made me feel comfortable. Since this was my first visit, Dr. Almaz asked me several questions regarding my dental history and I felt he really listened. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Everyone there is absolutely fantastic. I am not a fan of the dentist (I mean who is but I am one of those special people that actually fear them) at all but i am extremely happy with Dr. Gilbert and Julie, my hygienist. Both are very thorough, explain in detail what they're doing and make you as comfortable as possible. I never feel like they're rushing to get you in and out to do as many appointments as possible like I have in other places. Don't fall for their complimentary consultation. If they don't have updated records/x-rays, they'll take them there and bill your insurance without preauthorization. My husband came here because he had been a patient back in 2012. We since moved out of the area, but he's had so many issues with his mouth (root canals, crowns etc...) he needed to find someone he could trust again. Unfortunately it looks like Dr. Gilbert will not be our dentist of choice since we received a surprise bill for $132! And he didn't even have a cleaning or any work done on his mouth. Also, don't fall for all the good review, they use a software that directs all negative reviews to a private message to their front office. I'll leave this same message on Facebook and Yelp. Walking into Dr. Gilbert’s office was a great feeling as it is a very open and calming atmosphere. The staff were so very happy and everyone I saw had a smile and a good word to say. They immediately make you feel that they were waiting just for you alone giving you their full and undivided attention. I received my usual excellent care. Each staff member had an entire PPE safety attire, an explanation was given about the new mouthwash procedure, as well as other COVID19 precautions. Julie did her usual thorough cleaning, painless x-rays were taken, Dr. Ahmaz did an exam that included neck glands, TMJ joints as well as teeth, and there was time to catch up a bit on our lives, as we've come friends over the years. This office is amazing. I felt at ease just walking through the door. Went in with a broken tooth that needed a root canal. Dr. Gibert was able to do it right in his office the next day. It's always the same; warm greetings, care and concern for your overall health status and then, excellent assessment and intervention to clean or correct the issues with your teeth and gums. So, my experience is one of sustainable excellence and after 18 years of Dr Gilbert's and his staff's care, I know of what I speak. They have always made me feel comfortable and worked with my schedule. But I also take my child here, who is 2 1/2, and with their help, we got through his entire first cleaning! They were super patient and calm with him throughout! They let him look at all the tools, pick out a mid treatment toy, and let him sit on my lap. With their patience and allowing him to take breaks, we got through the entire appointment easy breezy, and he even asked for “more dentist” when we left! I was nothing but thrilled after my routine dental exam and cleaning but the rubber really hits the road once the Dr has to pull out the drill and go to work. This week I had a crack in a tooth repaired and a very old filling replaced by Dr Gilbert. I have to say the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The Doctor explained everything that he was doing; took pictures so I could see the work (before, during and after - something none of my other dentists have ever done before); used a surgical dam around the tooth so no debris fell in my mouth (fantastic); and, for the first time I can remember, injected the Novocaine so perfectly that I didn't even feel it!
