Long wait time , dark and dingy, seats broken in office, and a staff that don't know what there doing!!!! Disappointed is not even close to what I am feeling... The office sends you for mri, then it's up to you to reschedule for your results!! Never in my life have I ever delt with doctors office where I didn't see the doctor I was scheduled to see.. the nurse practioner was the one who saw me , not Dr. ! Go in to see the specialist about my shoulder and never the specialist!! Makes no sence!

Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy. Wasted 2 months of time trying to schedule an labrum tear surgery. The receptionist and service is horrible they never call you back for updates. Had to call every single week to find out that the date they were aiming for kept pushing to a deferent date. Looking back now I’m glad that it never happened. Went to Manhattan orthopedics and saw dc Edmond Cleeman and had an surgery appt ready for me within 2 weeks. And the service is great there the doctor and assistant are easy to reach and if not available at the moment will get back to you very quick.

This place is insane. I had to reschedule my original appointment but I called ro make a new appointment for the following week. My appointment time was 4:00 pm, I arrived at 3:45 pm. I was not seen until 5:30 by the Physicians Assistant. The positive PA Lydjia* (spelling) was an absolute doll. Kind, knowledgeable, 10/10 bedside manner. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and come up with a treatment plan. The office staff while generally friendly are very blasé about the wait time. It’s evident they overbook appointments. As much as I liked her bedside manner I can’t continue with this facility as its clear (from the frustrated people in the waiting room)they consistently have no regard for people’s time.

Hello I had no problems with Dr lackey I have two partial knee replacements that he did excellent no problems I was there before he started there I had another doctor name Dr luchardy

Would love to leave 5 stars but after waiting for over an hour I can't because I never saw the doctor, that amount of waiting makes no sense. I'm not sure who benefits from overbooking certainly not the patient in pain.

100% with the outcome of my knee replacement surgery. Dr Lackey has done a great job and I highly recommend him to people who ask me who did my surgery. EXCELLENT TOP NOTCH FROM START TO FINISH. DR LACKEY & THE ENTIRE TEAM IS BRILLANT. THE YOUNG LADIES AT THE FONT DESK ARE VERY PATIENT, KIND & DILIGENT. I visited Dr. William because I had a back problem and was diagnosed of herniated disc. He was of absolutely of no help. He kept on asking me to do PT sessions. Despite of letting him know it’s not helping after 8 months, he added additional exercises which were again of not help. I insisted on injection as I had read somewhere it’s worth trying. Instead of giving the injected on the back, he gave it on my outer thigh which had to lead to a swelling because of my back. Which dint help! I finally gave up and stopped visiting him. Woke up with sever shoulder pain to the point I thought my shoulder was dislocated. Dr packets office thankfully was kind enough to take me short notice the day of. Office took my insurance and everything was verified by the office manager Danielle who also was so kind and compassionate towards me considering it was an emergency. Check in was quick and easy and I was seen by the Dr immediately. Turned out to be a shoulder impingement after I received MRI which was in the same building. The Dr was fast, efficient, knowledgeable. Upon checking out, Danielle the office manager was extremely kind and patient with me as far as booking up follow up visits, putting meds through the pharmacy, and what to do as far as physical therapy. Truly took time out to make sure I had everything I needed before I left, especially considering how busy the office looked. Found this place on ZocDoc during the lockdown and I had my first visit trough the video call. Dr Lackey was really helpful he immediately gave me solutions and gave me an idea what is going on with my hips. Later on I went to the actual office and all the staff was there to help everyone especially Tania his assistant. They have all the information you need at any given time. Dr Lackey goes with conservative methods such as PT and steroid injections before trying any surgery, he’s very honest and knowledgeable. I also heard a lot of positive experiences and feedbacks while I was in the waiting room. I’d say if you have any kind of joint problems go to them they will do their best to help you! Dr Lackey has been my doctor for over 10 years. He is always on point and follows up with his patients. His office staff are kind and hard working and they go out of their way to work with you to get whatever needs to be done, done well. Dr Lackey did my shoulder surgery and looks after my chronic back issues with diligence and kindness. He is a great Doctor all around and I highly recommend his services.

very efficient process. Dr, Lackey took time to show diagrams and to explain the procedure in nice detail. he gave ample info on what to expect and the likelihood of complications. It was a lovely experience.

Dr Lackey has fixed me up extremely well. Prepping for another procedure to kick off the year.

I'd recommend Dr. Lackey to anyone. He's clearly knowledgeable, and (massively importantly) takes the time to explain what's going on with the joint in question. I feel like I'm in good hands, and that's saying a lot--he's the third orthopedist I've seen about the same set of problems.

Answers questions& approaches all injuries with all intention of having me heal. ACTUALLY listens & is worried about my pain/pain levels,if we are taking the correct approach for me to work with my injury (since I am the primary source of income) without doing any further damage to my injury that is currently taking place. He listens to everything I have say while making me feel very comfortable since I am shy. I would trust him with any family member and refer/ed him to many people looking for an orthopedic or orthopedic surgeon. I was diagnosed with a fractured spine and coccyx, stenosis to several nerves in the pelvis along with 3 herniated discs. It has been very challenging for me to overcome my injury but every 4 weeks we have worked on progression, pain management and getting back on track. He is a wonderful human being. Dr. Lackey's bedside manners blow any other MD out of the water. To me he is an angel and Gd has put him on this earth to heal with his heart & skills.

Went in to discuss knee problems which he diagnosed almost immediately but the Doctor took time to listen to my whole medical history which included a prior shoulder injury. After examining my shoulder he immediately gave me an injection which at time of typing has eased the pain considerably. Great service from both the doctor and his staff. Relaxed office atmosphere and friendly, efficient welcoming staff.

Dr. Lackey provided great information about the pain I was feeling in my knee and pointed me in the right direction to help!

nice office, the have PT in house, i didn't need it... yet. great hospitality with the staff. dr lackey is a great listener and doesnt doubt you when you suggest a diagnosis you read online, he takes his time and explains what all the possible diagnosis are and what the treatments are for each of them.

I've been seeing Dr. Lackey for 10+ years and he is the best in the business. He's knowledgeable, compassionate and never rushes through an appointment. 10 out of 10.

This doctor and his office should be ashamed at how they treat people in pain. I made an appointment online and never actually saw the doctor. I saw his PA. She was nice and seemed knowledgable. The real trouble was when they gave me a script for an MRI. It took them over a week to send a clinical report to the health insurance company required for the MRI approval. Then, they didn't provide enough information and it was denied. I called them every day for almost two weeks begging them to call to do a 'peer-to-peer review' to appeal the decline of my MRI authorization. The health insurance called them and left several messages but they NEVER called to do the review. I finally got the MRI authorized with the help of my HR department and it turns out i have five bulging discs and two are significant. They did NOTHING to help me determine what what was going on. I do NOT recommend this doctor.

No wait listened to my issue and took care of it promptly. I would highly recommend him and his staff. They are warm, kind and attentive.

While I like Dr. Lackey, the wait time is consistently over an hour and today almost 2. There were no emergencies to speak of, they just overbook. Today I had to leave to move my car, when they called me . Said I was next and I came back and waited another hour. I will not be back anytime soon. I can take a bus to Manhattan and be done in shorter time

Dr. William Lackey is one of the best an orthopedic surgery specialist in Brooklyn. He performed the surgery on my knee for a torn meniscus and did an excellent job!!! Recovery was fast and painless! The staff (especially his assistant Tanya) were very helpful and supportive as well. I will definitely recommend Dr. W. Lackey to anyone who has the same or similar problems.

Don't go to any other orthopedic surgeon. He's amazing. Super patient and kind with my 7 year old son after he broke his foot. Very efficient in his diagnosis and was able to explain to us exactly what was going on with his foot every check up we had. Had him skating back on ice for hockey within 3 weeks; he showed us exactly what was happening with his progress on both the xrays and in simple terms. I recommend all my friends kids who play sports to go to him--he's super nice and very mechanical with his hands so he's able to carefully figure out what's going on with your child's body immediately.
