Dr. William R Miely

Dr. Miely did the discectomy in Jan. 2014. When I came to him I needed the staff to bring a wheelchair to my car because couldn't make it to the door without assistance! The surgery was a breeze and I was back on my feet — pain free — soon after! The doc's "bedside manner" is a bit stiff, but if you want a top-notch surgeon — this is your guy!

Dr. Miely and his staff were super great to me. Because of how they explained things to me is the reason I went to him and not the other doctor I saw. That was so important to me.

I liked him 9 years ago when he did my back surgery. I went to him recently for back pain. I had spinal fusion surgery 9 years ago by Dr. Miely. In June I had serious lower back pain. I went to see Dr Miely on 66/13/17. He said I had some irritation and spinal stenosis/arthritis. He prescribed Mobic and Physical Therapy. I had a follow up visit 7/25/17. During the follow up visit, I got the feeling he had the wrong patient. He asked how my legs were doing. I had not had any issues with

Dr. Miely did my back surgery in 08. I had L4-5 and S 1 fused. I have been very active since my surgery and love my new life. I'm grateful for Dr. Miely skills and would and have recommended him.

He did my back surgery. (l4-l5 discectomy). He did an amazing job. My PT told me she knew of many successful surgeries by him. I had along list of questions and he took the list an answered every single one. He kind of has a dry personality but his surgical skills are top notch!

Dr. Miely and his staff were great! Everyone I dealt with at Orthopedic One was very professional and nice. I was in a lot of pain, and was scared to have surgery on my spine. They were very understanding and comforting. The surgery went great and I feel great. Will definitely recommend Dr, Miely and his nurses to everyone.

World Class, When it comes to spinal cord injuries - There's only one place to go....

I was a junior high athlete and hurt my back in sports. I needed a second opinion (a Dr who actually had experience) and was referred to Dr. Miely. He did wonders for me and I was able to play sports again through high school and even played soccer in college. 16 years have passed since I saw him last and my back is still holding up and is a lot better than when I first saw him. I recommend him if you are in need of his services!
