Always very pleasant in his office.

5 years now and very happy with doctor minnix as my Primary care doctor .

I have been going to Dr Minnix for 6 years and he and his staff make me feel like I'm part of the family. Great practice.

My appointment with Dr. Minnix was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to find out what the problem was, therefore, he was able to prescribe the medication I needed.

I love my doctor and this office. I find them to be competent, caring, and timely. I have confidence that my questions are answered and that they follow up. I highly recommend.

The ladies at the reception desk are always nice and greet each patient with a smile. My average wait time to be taken back is about 10 minutes. The nurse is never impatient asking relevant questions and does not mind answering questions. Of course she is very thorough. Dr. Minnix comes in about 5 minutes later. He also asks questions about what is going on with me and does not rush. Always very professional and discusses treatment etc. I have been seeing him about 11 years now and have nothing bad to say. He's the kind of doctor everyone wants !!! I will be his patient till my time comes !!!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Minnix to all my family, friends, and coworkers. He listens and goes over your chart and bloodwork in detail to point the good and bad. He is one the best primary care doctors I've ever had.

Have had great experiences in the past but had a resent episode that was not treated appropriately. Needed diagnostic tests and he referred me to the emergency room rather than managing me as a patient. More indication why our emergency rooms are so full with non-emergency patients.

Love the Doctor, trouble getting PX called into the pharmacy. Friendly staff.

I have been with Dr Minnix for many years and have found him to be exceptional with his diagnosis as well as sending me to other wonderful doctors if need be.

Dr. Minnix took us on time. We always wait with other doctors. He did an entire examination, spent time to explain what is necessary, what isn’t necessary, what each medication will do. What he doesn’t recommend for the age. Dr. Minnix was so thorough, and understand, and kind. Something that is hard to do with so many health issues when a doctor’s schedules are overcrowded. Dr. Minnix 1615 Pasadena Avenue South, South Pasadena, Florida 33707, cares more about his patients, then over booking and not having time to explain anything. I am so glad I found him. His staff is kind and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. William Minnix ????

Have attempted to schedule online over 3 times. Despite getting confirmation, upon arrival to office, staff report I have no appt. Staff realize this isn't working but the still do nothing about it. They report "we called you" yet there are no messages left on my phone (after confirmation of phone number). This definitely should be FIXED!

I tried to change my appoint. to a phone call as was sick in bed. No answer so went to get ready for appoint. and had message that appoint. was cancelled. Called to make appoint. and office closed. Tried to get phone appoint. and told they don’t do it anymore even though it’s on the website. Received note to be at my 8 am 25th appoint. 15 min. early. Arrived 20 min. ahead but had to wait til 8 to get in. I was first in but he didn’t come in for 40 min. Doctor prescribed me 2 new medicines to take immediately for stress and 1 for diarrhea and check back in 30 days. lady said the prescription was sent to Caremark mail order so I wouldn’t get it for a week. told her to change it to pick up at CVS Madeira. She said ok. Called CVS at 1pm to check and they had no prescription but there was the one for diarrhea at Wrong CVS but was later put on hold? Called office at 1 and it was closed early! That’s of stress trying to get stress medication and what good is Diarrhea medicine 5 days later?

Best in the business. Look no further!

Always seems in a rush to get out of the room during appointment. Do like he gives referrals to good doctors because does not seem he likes to get too involved.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Minnix as our PCP for many years. Always, professional, listens to concerns and provides explanations that are easy to understand. We never feel rushed. He is very easy to talk with and is very knowledgeable.

They never sent my prescription in to my pharmacy so I had to recall and ask them to send them.

Mr. Minnix has terrible beside manner, walks away while your talking to him. Don't go see him. You'll feel like your talking to Jerry Springer but with a bad attitude. He doesn't Care at all about your pain or helping you get help.

Miserable experience, had been in a car accident that put me in a trauma center for 3 days. I want to update my primary care physician on my health. Although he came into my room 45 minutes after my appointed time he had NO time to talk with me regarding my injuries or health He told me to make another appointment for more time. Dr Minnix helped to save my life. He was very proactive in sending me to the right specialists who found a very rare heart defect that would have taken my life if not corrected very quickly. Most Drs would have dismissed my symptoms as anxiety, but he didn't. He has also helped me with additional diagnoses that most Drs dont even know about. I've run into many arrogant Drs who think they know everything- he is not like that at all. He is humble enough to send you to the Dr who knows more about your issues when needed to make sure you get the best care. He takes the time to learn how they are helping you because he wants to work with their approach to help you. Dr. Minnix has been my primary care physician for nine years and I am fortunate to have found him. He takes as much time as needed to understand my concerns and discusses treatment plans with me. I always leave his office assured that I am getting the best care available!

My appointments with Dr. Minnix are always helpful and informing. I like how he take enough time to actually hear about your problems and gives great personal and medical advice. I started going to this practice 5 years ago, when i moved here, and it quickly became my best doctor/patient experience that i have ever had. Went to him with a possible kidney stone, he didnt like what he saw, and immediately sent me to a urologist. Turned out to be stage 3 bladder cancer. I really attribute him to being one of the decifing factors thst saved my life...early diagnosis and treatment. The staff at the office are always very kind and will work you in at a moments notice. Thank you to all of the employee professionals there. You DO make a difference!!!

My wife and I are patients of Dr. Minnix from several years in the past when we were spending more time at our FL condo. As time went by we were spending less time here and the need for service from the then "walk-in service" that was always available. Now that we are older and staying at a different condo for longer periods of time....it certainly is a pleasure and "need" for us to re-establish ourselves with our friendly doctor. We enjoyed our recent appointments with Dr. Minnix and are happy to be reunited.

The front desk staff for Dr. Minnix always impresses me with their knowledge, patience and kindness. It is a great way to start a Doctor's visit. Dr. Minnix, himself, is one of the smartest and most genuine healthcare practitioners I've ever had. I actually drive 30 minutes from where I live to keep him as my primary care provider.

Dr Minnix was a pleasure to meet. He was friendly, on time (10 min wait) and was very thorough in my 1st visit.

Had an appointment in early October 2019 at 11:00am with Dr. Minnix. After waiting nearly an hour, at 11:55am I heard someone in the office say, "Dr. Minnix is at lunch". I am the ONLY person in the waiting room, been waiting an hour for my appointment, and Dr. Minnix decides to go to lunch! No one bothered to inform me of this. Not only was I not a priority, I wasn't even on the radar. When was he coming back from lunch? 1:00pm?? 2:00pm??? I went to the window to cancel the appointment. The person apologized saying, 'we are understaffed today'. What a lame excuse! As far as I'm concerned, this is a total lack of respect. I cannot think of one reason to go back to Dr. Minnix. To this day, December 2, 2019, NO ONE at the office of Dr. Minnix has called me about this. They have had more than enough time to call me. Clearly they could care less.

I am a new patient here in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Minnix came highly recommended to me and I feel very secure knowing I have established medical help in the area. I am very impressed with the attention to detail and the referrals I received at Dr. Minnix's office.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Minnix for your primary care needs. He truly cares about his patients, listens carefully to their health concerns, and does not just go thru the motions.

As I was preparing to have cataract surgery at a well known provider a few days after my visit with Dr. Minnix, imagine my surprise when Dr Minnix informed me that he didn't find any evidence of cataracts. He strongly suggested a second opinion. I got another opinion and was relieved to learn the surgery scheduled was medically unnecessary. Saved me pain, anxiety and a ton of money which was needed to correct an astigmatism which outcome wasn't guaranteed.

quality doctor and staff!!! went through several primary care doctors and have been super happy to have found Dr. Minnix and his staff... very knowledgeable, caring, and good listener. They seem to make sure they are doing positive something for you with each visit even if just being available to discuss maintained issues and strategies to improve your overall wellbeing... Also referrals are very strong from him as his team has been established in there specialties... My wife and I gladly travel a few extra miles to his office from our house...

The only reason I give him one star is that no stars was not an option. My annual “physical” lasted five minutes during which he failed to diagnose a blood disease that almost killed me. Do NOT use this doctor.

Been using Dr Minnix since I moved to Florida in 2012. Used to go to his Maderia Beach office and followed him to new office at Palms... He always listens to my concerns, spends his time with me where I don’t feel rushed. He has referred me to several specialists that were great. Dr Minnix is Top Notch!!! Highly Recommend!!
