Dr. William Edward Paul

Extremely unprofessional dentist; he seems like he lacks A LOT of fundamental knowledge in dentistry along with communication skills… I’m not sure if the, “dentist” is burned-out from his career, but he needs a re-evaluation for sure. Just go ahead and read all of the other negative reviews. It’s horrendous!

Kind, caring, friendly staff and environment. The clinic was comforting as well as the oral surgeon and his dental assistant. I will continue to be thankful for having them by my side in my upcoming procedures. Highly recommend this clinic.

I was extremely nervous and scared with the procedure I was having done. The nursing staff assured me this wasn’t an uncommon feeling and did everything in their power to make me feel better. Everyone was kind and understanding. Even the DR communicated the entire procedure. I had all my questions answered. The DR who worked with me was in a bit of a rush towards the end of my procedure since the numbing medicine didn’t completely work, but there’s nothing I’m aware of that could’ve avoided that. The whole thing for me lasted from 10:40am - 12:55pm. Not to sound negative, but I’ll be glad not to get my wisdom teeth pulled again. They’re great. I hope I never need dental surgery again.

The dentist was very rude to my disabled brother who needed some teeth pulled. Completely disregarded the fact that he was disabled and didn't understand what they were saying when they were berating him for his hygiene.

Lady at front desk kinda has tht im better than you additude. Seemed kinda rude. The nurse Nd Dr.Paul where great tho. I was in and out in 20 min from getting my wisdom teeth out and I felt no pain. They seemed to know there stuff.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here at 19. My son's wisdom teeth removed here at 18. I'm coming back to Dr Paul for some more treatment/ extractions. Great place if you need an oral surgeon

I went for my consultation today and was very pleased with Dr Paul. He was very informative, patient and caring. I went in very nervous but left with a peace of mind knowing I’m in good hands.

A few minor things took place but they were taken care of. My daughter went for a procedure and was nervous. She came out though with everything done and feeling a bit more relaxed knowing it's all over. Dr. Paul did an amazing job with her procedure.

Today makes a week that I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth and 2 molders pulled and to be honest reading the reviews made me very nervous and scared but after deciding just to use the local numbing agent the day of the appointment I was nervous but they took care of me they also finished in less than 30 minutes my lips felt huge afterwards even though they weren’t. I appreciate y’all so much I’m still using my mouth wash prescribed.

It is such a great feeling to sit back and let Dr. Paul work on you knowing that you have complete faith in his work. Very skilled hands very knowledgeable and a great bedside manner to boot. And the rest of the staff is very genuine and nice. Thank you very much I will definitely be back and tell everyone I know

This guy is horrible but unfortunately seems to be the only oral surgeon in the area that takes Medicaid. He is competent as an oral surgeon, but he is arrogant and completely lacks empathy. He has removed the wisdom teeth of three of my children and will try to sell you a steroid shot for about $100 that Medicaid doesn't cover. I get it, Medicaid pays peanuts, but people on it don't have money. One son had the teeth removed with no reaction. The second son had an allergic reaction to the pain meds, but the doctor assumed it was because we didn't get the shot. My daughter was terrified of needles, so they gave her IV sedation instead of the more expensive hospital procedure. She started crying because they put her in the chair and took so long to sedate her. She begged for me to stay in the room but I was kicked out before she was even slightly sedated.She was still calling for me but just couldn't move her arms. Once again I get it, Medicaid doctors are paid nothing, but they could at least treat patients with kindness. Perhaps if I had paid him the extra $1000 he would have been kinder,but that just makes it more wrong. I had a wonderful experience with both consultation and procedure here. Dr. Paul is kind, patient, and professional. First I’d like to say, the lower star reviews are hard to believe… the staff is so kind and caring and Dr.Paul is awesome!! Everyone there was super sweet and attentive to me and answered all my questions!! From the moment I walked in I felt very welcome and cared for!! Dr.Paul is an amazing oral surgeon, very kind, very thorough, and I felt no pain what so ever while getting my 4 wisdom teeth removed! I was absolutely amazed!! Horrible rude customer service from the older receptionist woman. Waited forever, still.didnt get seen.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out here, and all I have to say is wow. All the people who took care of me were very friendly and compassionate which helped me a lot with my nerves. Dr. Paul did amazing at everything he did, his calm and kind demeanor really made me felt like I was in good hands. On top of that, I get really nervous with IVs and needles, but he inserted my IV with such ease, I actually didn’t know it was in my arm until he said it was done. 1000/10 experience, would definitely recommend this place! I took my nephew here to have his wisdom teeth removed. Staff was amazing and very nice. They were so helpful answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone for oral surgery.

Horrible place , my appointment it was on 10;40am, and I have to wait to 2 pm to the doctor see me . Never come back, very disappointed.

They are going extremely rude and unwelcoming! I over heard a staff that did my extraction on 6/2/21 say “We shouldn’t have done hers” yes I’m black and they are all WHITE AS SNOW. God bless I don’t recommend going to them if your a person of color you are not welcome there like every other race.

The staff was very friendly and made sure I knew what was going on. The procedure went well and Dr. Paul and his staff did an amazing job.

Had 2 teeth removed with no issues. I was home about an hour and received a call asking how I was doing. Everyone I had contact with was professional and kind. No issues what so ever. I would recommend.

I am disabled & have severe degen disc, titanium neck & lumbar & have to have more surgery soon. I sat for over an hr in pain in UNCLEAN waiting rm b4 finally getting called back to exam rm where they immediately told me they weren't going to do ANYTHING because I have to have antibiotic b4 they will pull broken tooth that I've had to wait over a month to even get in for. They could've told me this over the phone, charged me for a visit, & saved me alot of pain. But no. They r WAY OVERBOOKED & do NOT care about people! Steer clear of this place!!

Very long wait times

Extremely rude and disrespectful. Made my friend regret taking care of his oral health, which is exactly the opposite of what you want in a dentist. Go anywhere else.

If it was possible to give less than one star I would. Staff was very rude and disrespectful to my wife and service animal. Constant discrimination to my family because of a disability is not acceptable. I would encourage everyone to avoid this business.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled here back in December. The staff who operated on me was super friendly and nice. However, the staff who do the finances are not so great. You would think that if you do finances you would do the research and not make assumptions that screw a patient over and make them owe an additional $500 that you do not have budgeted for. Went in for wisdom teeth extraction. The process was highly efficient. The staff was personable and friendly. Post procedure the staff addressed issues that had come up and instructed me on post operation care. They are a great team.

Daughter had surgery last Friday to have 4 wisdom teeth removed and she told me that she gripped the chair and they told her to stop it she was fine.. The nurse upon check out was is such a hurry to get out of the recovery room that you couldnt understand half of what she said (luckily her dad and I have both had teeth pulled so I knew how to care for her).. Dentist seems more worried about hurrying through people that he doesnt remember that these are humans hes working with and not animals that cant speak.. She has been having issues for the last 2 days with eating still and says it feels like her cheek is stuck to her gum and its causing her to chew on her cheek.. I recently had all my wisdom teeth removed there. One of the nurses was really snobby and rough. And durring the procedure I grunted and gripped the chair because I could feel it all and the dentist told me I was fine. Durring the procedure they were really agressive shoving their fingers and other things in my mouth causing extreme pain. After getting out they said one of my teeth was abnormal but everything was fine on the xray. Now days later my face is completely swollen from my jaw to my eye sockets. Sylvia in the main office does not do her job in a timely manner.. I had an appointment for my 8 year old daughter who needed teeth out extremely bad. Were talking almost creating an abscess which can get to your blood stream and kill you if they get bad enough. I waited for two months to hear about an appointment scheduled with the hospital. So I called and after asking why my daughter got put on the back burner they proceed to tell me they had been calling which was a lie because a week later they had an appointment set. Why it took a whole 2 months and then another week after, I do not know. THEN when I think everything is good, she didn't put the insurance in right away so then I had to change all of my arrangements for her appointment to another day because we had to switch hospitals. The nurse violated my right to privacy, waiting 45 minutes PAST appointment time, very rude doctor, and nurses. I do not recommend this doctor at all. Couldn’t be bothered to answer any question directly.

Dr. Paul is a very kind and caring man. I was full of anxiety before my procedure and he assured me that he was going to do everything possible to calm my nerves. I was put under what was described as "twilight sleep" and remembered nothing until being awoken by him and the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Paul. All pre and postoperative instructions were given, both verbally and in writing. Approprate medications were prescribed. Thank you Dr. Paul for making my visit comfortable.

Dr refused to give my friend any pain meds after removing all her teeth...lied about forwarding paperwork...and didn't keep surgery date that was already 3 month out now it's another month!

Called for pricing, I have a discount plan of 20% off. Even after discount applied they were higher than others I called. And with their rating so low it was dissapointing. My went to get her wisdom teeth pulled here, he just stabbed the needle into her mouth and arm like he was in a hurry. He took forever to come back and when he started she was in pain and raised her hands and they said "put your hands down". Time to retire geezer, if this would've been me would've been a different story.

I went in to see him and he pressed on the other side of my mouth where the stitching was fine, this was tender and painful. I told him it was the other side and he literally just opened my mouth wider, looked, and said it was fine. I recently visited this facility with my daughter. She got her wisdom teeth out and was abviously out of it afterwards. The staff was amazing... except for Cindy. Cindy was extremely rude to my daughter and yelled at her multiple times. My daughter was choking on her gause and Cindy had no patience whatsoever. She did not even go out to the car to help me put my daughter in and overall was what caused me to give this facility such a low rating. I just had 2 wisdom teeth removed about 7.5 hours ago. The nurse that took me back and was getting me prepped was so sweet and comforting, she saw and knew I was nervous and was doing her best to calm me down and told me "Don't worry, we'll take good care of you" and at one point she came by and rubbed my shoulder and said "try to calm down you will be alright" in such a sweet voice, I wish I could remember her name so I could give her the praise she deserves, Dr. Paul was very nice and very gentle too and when he put the IV in I barely felt it. Wonderful staff, everyone made me comfortable before and after surgery. The office called to check in on me a few hours after surgery and even sent me flowers the next day. Best oral surgeon I've ever been to.

Sr Paul was amazing as well as his staff I had to have a couple major things done and my lower jaw bone sawed down. He was compassionate as well as his staff. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs oral surgery. We never had a scheduling problem, was never treated rudely either. I have neurological conditions as well that they were aware and cautious of as well during the couple surgeries he did. I'm very surprised by the negative reviews, as my experience with my daughter's wisdom teeth surgery was nothing but positive. Although Dr. Paul and his staff were all very matter-of-fact in all of our interactions, they were all very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful with every aspect from consultation to insurance pre-certification to scheduling to the surgery itself. We were given very thorough instructions for after-care, and they called us a few hours after we arrived home to make sure my daughter was doing OK, to make sure we were following after-care protocol, and to answer any questions that had come up since leaving the office. The icing on the cake was the very sweet bouquet of flowers delivered the following day from Dr. Paul and his staff with a "thinking of you" note attached. Awful experience in pain still after 9 days of healing he took a chunk of skin out of a part of my gum located in an area that is nowhere near my wisdom teeth. Lack of care and attention during a procedure of this nature was highly disturbing. The conversations being had while “sedated” were inappropriate in entirety. I do not recommend him to anyone and an completely unsatisfied. Lack of expertise is surprising after taking into consideration the amount of time this place has been operatibg.

Going to a dentist is never a pleasant experience no matter what anyone says. Because most of the time yor going in because of a problem. I'm happy to say I got a appointment right away, didn't wait long in waiting room, receptionit and nurses very polite and efficient. Doctor was polite, informative, not to congenial maybe because they were busy. No pain, no swelling. Overall experience good to very good. Thank you to the staff and the doctor.

Will never recommend him. Awful experience. So painful. Was there 2 hours for a 20 minute procedure. No apologies for making me wait so long.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was comfortable before and after my surgery. The office called me a few hours afterwards and even sent me flowers the next day. Best oral surgeon I've ever been too.

Everytime I have called and told them that something was wrong they simple say the same one liner "you knew the risks" and proceed to try to send me off to their "on call" dentist! If I can stop this from happening to anyone else that will make this horrible things better for me at least. When I came to from the anesthesia all I got was a pat on the shoulder and a place to sit and wait for someone to take me home. Dr. Paul was easy to talk to and his nursing staff were amazing they were so helpful. Wisdom teeth removal was my first ever surgery and being nervous I was on the verge of tears once I was being hooked up to everything, the entire staff was very understanding and comforting and when I was put asleep I stayed out! He would get five stars but one of teeth was very difficult to get out so a sinus cavity opened so now I must be extra careful, otherwise it went smoothly! perscriptions given before

Dr. Paul was VERY rude. I went for a second opinion about possible nerve damage. Before talking to me, reviewing my x-rays or file, he walked in and said I will tell you do not have nerve damage from the dentist that removed my teeth Well it turns out I have extensive nerve damage caused from the extractions. He didn't want to say the anything could have happened from my extractions. He was trying to cover for the other dentist for legal reasons. Where are his morals?

I was seen multiple times for extensive work and I have an extreme phobia of dentists. Dr Paul and his staff were caring considerate and gentle. Even in the early AM hours they are smiling. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing work.
