From my first appt. with Dr. Pennington he was very kind, professional and explained everything about the surgery,recovery and pt. He covered it from a-z. That was in 2013 and I am still so pleased.

I’ve known Dr. Pennington for over 20 years now. He’s performed 2 knee surgeries and one shoulder on me. I can list a bunch of superlatives here, but that won’t prove anything. Take confidence in knowing he and his team are the best. He’s added decades to my ability to use my body for my job.

I made an appointment with dr. Pennington to determine what could be done with my shoulder following a complete total shoulder replacement done by another doctor and was having problems with it. First I must say I never even seen dr. Pennington who I made the appointment with, instead his PA entered the room. I explained that my problem was not with the actual shoulder but my bi-cep muscle.I explained that it happened in PT. This PA did not even examine my shoulder or my bi-cep instead said looking at the x-ray that I needed a total reverse shoulder replacement and as far as the bi-cep they could not fix that. She also did not even read the ultra sound test I had provided which said that my bi-cep tendon was ruptured and had slid down my arm. This whole “exam” was done in less than 10 min. I decided to see another dr. After a complete exam, I had outpatient surgery to correct tendon and is now fine. These are careless doctors at this clinic please be advised here.

I had a torn Tendon at my Shoulder and some rotator cuff damage Dr. Pennington repaired it all and I had absolutely no pain except after therapy.

Dr Pennington is not only an excellent orthopedic surgeon, he’s a caring man. His bedside manor is super. His staff is also outstanding. They return my calls promptly. Highly recommend Dr Pennington.

EXTREMELY pleased with the experience, from the original Dr visit that provided him enough information (MRI, x-rays, prior office visit with his assistant ) to determine the need for the reverse shoulder replacement. The surgery date was set within five weeks (conveniently in consideration of my vacation schedule), excellent communication prior to surgery including pre-surgery training session, ordering the necessary rehab equipment, phone contact with the surgery nurse advocate, and discussion with the DR just prior to and following surgery. Now in physical therapy with great progress. A VERY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE ORGANIZED AND EXECUTED BY DR. PENNINGTON AND HIS STAFF------highly recommend w/o reservation. Dr. Pennington is THE doctor for knees and shoulders. I cannot thank him enough for his expertise and caring about not only my knee, but my extended family's experience with him for related issues. Dr. Pennington and Dr. Butler did a total knee replacement on my right knee approximately 15 years ago and I am still kicking! Dr. Pennington has done numerous knee surgeries for me and I would recommend him to anyone. He Is not only an excellent surgeon but just a nice guy which is rare among surgeons! Wonderful. He’s so caring as is his staff. I recommend him to everyone. Very honest and an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He should be rated 5 stars.

Excelllent experience from beginning to end. Dr. Pennington's entire team worked together like a well oiled machine, professional, caring and efficient. His PA's are top notch. Complete shoulder replacement with very little pain. I highly recommend .

Dr Pennington released me after I was still in a lot of pain and discomfort. I could not move my shoulder half as good as my other one. On my last appointment he had no intention of listening to my concerns or what my PT professional suggested to have more rehabilitation. I would never suggest anyone going to this doctor. I had to get a second opinion by another orthopedic surgery who agreed I needed more rehabilitation per the request Of my PT suggested. TERRIBLE,VERY ARROGANT,THE OFFICE PERSONNEL LOST MY WORKMAN COMP,PAPERWORK,BILLED THE WRONG PEOPLE,INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING,THEY TURNED IT AROUND AND SAID THEY DIDNT WANT TO TALK TO ME,CAUSE I WAS RUDE. I TRYED TO SPEAK TO THE DOCTOR,HE WAS JUST AS ARROGANT. ALTHO HE IS GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES,QUICK TO PUT U UNDER THE KNIFE THO,BUT NEVER AGAIN. I HAD FAMILY MEMBERS EMPLOYED THERE,AT HIS OFFICE,THEY KNEW ALL ABOUT MY SITUATION, AND SAID I WAS RIGHT,AND THAT THEIR OFFICE WAS FILLED WITH ISSUES

I ended up with head to toe fibro from my shoulder surgery many years ago...my life TOTALLY CHANGED!....I've been suffering for damn near 17yrs...I could've lived with the pain in my shoulder over fibro pain! I HAVE NO LIFE!????????????

He has taken care of me since 2000 my knees and shoulder he is an amazing Dr. wouldn't go to anyone else

He was straight forward, didn't send me to PT and found issues on both shoulders and arms! He's the best including Brian. They(Racine) wanted to give my mom a shoulder replacement and Brian assured me that she did NOT need that. She's doing awesome at 78 yrs old!

I had a total shoulder replacement in April 2018 by Dr Pennington and have amazing results thus far! The entire team has been great. I highly recommend.

Had rotator cuff repair on my right shoulder. 4 anchors, a labrum tear and within 5 months I was back to swinging the golf clubs and playing softball. shoulder feels 120% a year later. one of the best docs around for shoulder repair.

I am celebrating my 5th year of total recovery from extreme shoulder pain. Dr. Pennington did an excellent job with my shoulder replacement. I was faithful with my icing and exercise as directed, and was back playing tennis in 6 weeks. I have not experienced any pain since my operation 5 years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Pennington.

Dr. and P.A.s are great. Complete shoulder replacement. Walk in, 33 hrs. later I walk out. No more pain! All nurses, but one, were very good to excellent.

The absolute best! State of the art treatment and two PAs that know what they are doing adds to the package!

Had my shoulder surgery done by dr. Pennington at Wheaton Franciscan on 27th and Oakwood Road not only did I bring extra clothes for after my surgery to be put into they failed to do that properly and put me in my good clothes after my surgery and I had to cut off a $30 shirt also the surgical team I told him I didn't have a problem with getting stuck with needles I'm a hard guy to stick with a needle in Hit a vein they poked me four times and then and then had to call in the anesthesiologist to do it right then he wouldn't sign a form for extra pain meds for when the pinball ran out people do your surgery overviews research your surgeon iPad over 30 surgeries in my life and this team was the worst Had my shoulder surgery done by dr. I am sorry but he feels he does not need to show for clinic but leaves his P.A makes poor decisions on terrible mis dianogisis and when challenged he does absent act find another shoulder doc.

Dr. Pennington is the real deal. With a great staff of PA'S too. He's scoped both my knees, and repaired a torn Labrum, and bone spur. I trust his judgements, and he's been very helpful with advise. I wouldn't recommend any other Doctor in Wisconsin when it comes to knee, or shoulder repair.

He did a rotator tear repair & removed a bone spur, a very painful procedure, then refused to give me meds to deal w/terrible pain as a result. Never returned my call but had a flunkie secretary tell me to contact my other doctor for any other pain meds. After the surgery I was bruised, ugly purple, black &blue from my neck all the way down to midforearm, all around my arm & even from my neck in front up to& including my left breast & my back shoulder. Won't recommend even as a vet!

Got me in same day I called for severe shoulder pain. Office staff went out of their way to get me in and avoid an ER visit..

I have had both shoulder worked on and my son has had one. I wouldn't suggest anyone else in the midwest
