Update : I wanted to share a picture of my hand ( but couldn't post picture ) and should have shared months ago ❣️You, can't even see where my hand was repaired . I, can't wait to go back to Dr. Coleman for plastic surgery ????. Dr Coleman, saved my Life ! I, was bitten by a dog that I, was fostering. My hand became infected to the bone. Dr. Coleman sent me to Dr. Hospital at infected diseases the same day . I, had to be put on a on an IV pic and antibiotics immediately for six week s. Plus the doctors did not know what kind of infection they were fighting. Dr. Coleman, was able to reattach my tendon and after 9 months. I, am back to using it ! I, am so pleased and thankful for Dr. Coleman ! He is just is absolutely the best ! Over the Christmas Holiday's. I, had an issue come up . When I, called the office. Dr. Coleman answered the phone. I, was shocked. He, was waiting on patients and answering his own phone so his staff could have extra time off ! That says a lot about him !

I came to Dr Coleman's office after having searched nationwide for a highly trained, specialized hand surgeon who could reconstruct my thumb tip which was left painful after a previous surgery at another hospital. I flew in from out of state (I reside in Florida) and on both occasions (consultation and day of my surgery) Dr Coleman and his staff were very attentive, carefully explained all of the options, and guided me through the process I needed to complete my surgery. It's been almost a year since my surgery and I am very pleased with the outcome. Post-op, Dr Coleman called me personally to follow up on the status of my procedure and provided further orientation to ensure a successful recovery and outcome.I would definitely recommend Dr Coleman and his practice.

I arrived spent 20 mins filling out paperwork and went back to the counter to return it. The front desk person just ignored me and continued typing her note. I cleared my throat (you know in case she didn’t see me standing directly in front of her with a clipboard extended) she ignored me. I understand she’s busy so I asked “should I just leave this here or sit back down?” Without looking up she said “just a minute”. The other woman waaaay at the back asked her if she had me and she said she did but that she was just finishing up what she was doing. I found the lack of acknowledgment extremely rude. What I found even more rude was that she proceeded to collect a $50 consultation fee which I had not been made aware of. I’ve had a few consultations with other doctors ans not once have they asked for money before even meeting me, let alone without even notifying me of it. I don’t mind paying for their time, I understand. It’s the lack of consideration and dismissive behavior that I found off putting. And after reading about the lack of post-op care he has for his patients,I’m glad I followed my gut and left. I arrived spent 20 mins filling out paperwork and went back to the counter to return it. The office is clean, well run and friendly. Dr. Coleman is very good at communicating and is a skilled hand doctor. I highly recommend this practice to anyone with medical issues of their hands. He was great with my broken finger and never mentioned surgery. It is totally healed. This is an excellent medical practice. As the son of a hand surgeon myself, I highly recommend Dr. Coleman. Dr. Coleman performed my mom's surgery on January 10th. To give a fair review, I have to consider all events of the day and the days following surgery. I will preface this by saying I am a nurse, and I'm aware that humans make mistakes. It's how you deal with those mistakes that matters. This surgery was not emergent. It took several weeks of careful planning and consideration on our part. I wish the staff had also done the same. On the morning of the surgery, approximately 1.5 hours before, it was discovered by Dr. Coleman that someone in the office had neglected to order a crucial part that was to go into my mother's arm. Mistakes happen. We were willing to forgive that. What I personally cannot forgive is not providing a patient with follow up care. Dr. Coleman refers his patients to HealthLink occupational therapy. My husband, also a nurse, accompanied my mom to her first appointment. There, Cindy, the occupational therapist, did not wash her hands or wear gloves. My husband, after setting gloves directly next to her in the hope of her realizing the error without confrontation, had to tell her to stop and put gloves on. She was removing the surgical dressing, where my mom has a fresh surgical incision, with dirty hands and without gloves. She refused and argued with him. This type of incompetence is unacceptable, regardless of Dr. Coleman knowing her for "30 years". My mom has limited options with her insurance, being a military veteran with VA health insurance. So she called Dr. Colemans office to inform them. HealthLink could not be trusted to remove her stitches. Dr. Coleman is flat out refusing to allow his nurse to remove her stitches because he has referred her out. She has no idea what to do for occupational therapy now. No after care instruction, nothing. And no help from your office whatsoever. Dr. Coleman, we have forgiven your mistakes. We ask that you finish what you started and allow my mom to have her stitches removed at your office by competent staff. Something your nurse said he could easily and would gladly do, but you have said was not allowed. Healthcare is not perfect, but as a provider, more is expected of you than this. Dr Coleman is very knowledgeable and professional. He seemed to do a good job at my surgery, but after I have no contact and have been referred to HealthLink for post-op care and occupational therapy. Dr Coleman refused to see me to remove my stitches and referred me to HealthLink. I just feel that follow up should be with the treating physician. Other than that everything was pleasant. Dr. Coleman is very thorough, experienced, patient, and takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns. I had a plastic surgery procedure that, although I didn't get the result I wanted the first time, he did a second one at no charge to rectify the situation with a different procedure that accomplished what I was trying to achieve. Very reasonable pricing. My only criticism would be that the office tends to rush and plays a little loose for my taste. Just compensate for the staff a little and you will get taken care of.

Dr. Coleman and his team are incredible! He was thorough in explaining my options after I broke my finger. I opted for a procedure that required two minor surgeries 6 weeks apart. Due to insurance reasons, the surgeries were scheduled at two different hospitals. Dr. Coleman personally called me the evening before the second surgery to make sure I was aware of the change of venue and make sure I knew exactly where to go (though his team had already taken care of getting me my instructions)! I love his calm demeanor and he did fantastic work on my finger too. A positive experience all around. I highly recommend! Dr. Coleman and his team are incredible! Dr. Coleman and his staff are by far the most wonderful healthcare providers you could ever meet. I gracefully broke my fifth metacarpal and was starting to become terrified because it had been a couple days since the injury and I had not seen a specialist. Dr. Coleman’s office was the first I had called, it was the one referred to me by two ER doctors, and they also managed to get me seen only an hour and a half after I called! Once getting there I filled out paperwork and was called back in less than 20 minutes. Dr. Coleman examined my X-rays from the ER and saw me shortly after the nurse David cut my splint off. He thoroughly explained what my options were as well as drew pictures to make it easy! Because I was scared out of my mind and sweating at that point (I had never broken anything before), Dr. Coleman took that extra step and even called my father who also works in the medical field to explain the situation! Without further ado, he decided to go for a reduction and then a cast to see where that takes us. My hand was numbed perfectly and in the mean time I was brought water and cookies because the numbing still needed to fully kick in and I was getting more nervous by the minute! In the mean time, the nurse David and two scribes (who’s names I unfortunately don’t recall) joked and laughed with me, allowing me ease up a bit. Dr. Coleman was able to then pull on my hand, all the while one of the super amazing scribes was holding my elbow down to keep it from moving up as well. You will not believe it, but with my good left hand I was eating my cookies, incredibly satisfied and not feeling a thing!! I felt like a champ but in reality it’s all because of these amazing, caring folks who truly love what they do. My hand was then wrapped in a cast by David, which honestly is the neatest and most comfortable cast I could ever imagine! I swear it’s perfect and I’ve had no issues for a week now. After the procedure, X-rays were taken again. Dr. Coleman did see something he was not certain about so they opted for me to get a CT scan just in case. David called around, pulled some strings, all the while busy with other patients as well and got me a cheaper option across town the same day!! I went, and a couple days later got a call from Dr. Coleman himself about the results. I go in tomorrow morning for a follow up and x-rays once more to check my progress, but honestly I can’t wait to go again! If there’s anyone I recommend, it will be these guys. Hands down! No pun intended! Dr. Coleman and his staff are by far the most wonderful healthcare providers you could ever meet. Dr. Coleman and his staff are absolutely amazing! The front desk staff got me an appointment an hour and a half after I called and my whole visit took only about two hours! That includes a consultation, a call to my dad because I was terrified where Dr. Coleman took the time to explain my options, he did a reduction of my fifth metacarpal (they even gave me cookies to keep me occupied and not passing out!), David the nurse made a perfect cast, and they even called around for the cheapest CT scan
