This guy (shouldn't even call him a doctor) is an absolute joke. No knowledge of gastro, does unnecessary procedures to make money and him and his wife are both rude and greedy!! I should've been alarmed when I got an appointment within a day. That tells you no one is going there and for obvious reasons! Stay away and take your kids elsewhere to save them from trauma and maybe procedures they won't need. Worst experience ever!!!

Can I give less than 1 star? Drove 50 miles as he’s the only pediatric GI doc on Blue Cross. What a joke. He gave my 13 yo daughter the creeps, was condescending to me and twisted our words around. I had a better medical vocabulary than he did. Epigastric pain and positive gallbladder finding = use Miralax. Really???? Run, run as fast as you can, he’s a joke! Should have taken other poor reviews to heart.

This appointment was the biggest waste of time and money ever. Dr. Villa had zero knowledge about the reason we were there in the first place. I actually almost got up in the middle of the appointment and walked out it was so bad. His nurse that takes you back to the room was rude and had zero people skills. I am shocked this guy is still in practice.

This doctor is horrible. The first thing he said to my son when he walked in the room was “hi there, so you’re the troublemaker”. My son is no doubt easy and we were there for help and to actually start our appointment off by saying that to him was unnecessary. Great doctor, knew what to ask to a kid and very understanding but also concern on what's going on. Very patience with kids.

If I could give negative starts I would. He didn't seem to care at all. Just passed it as nothing, even though my baby had been throwing up for weeks and xrayed that she had reflux. Told me to get off the meds her Pediatrician prescribed which made her get worse. Made rude remarks about breastfeeding and to top it off, when their receptionist called to confirm the follow up she didn't cancel it like I asked. Which means a $50 "no show" fee.

One star is too many for this office. The staff there is terrible, I mentioned it to the doctor but he seems to careless. Do not recommend this place for anyone. Questions never answered, I signed a consent for another Dr they said they never received it. Horrible service.

Avoid this place!!!! I was referred to Dr. Villa because my 8 week old baby had extreme GERD. There is a reason you are able to get into his office so quickly! I got my baby an appointment and went to see him. He had great bedside manners but his office staff is absolutely terrible. His only nurse is EXTREMELY RUDE! I had to get two outside xrays done of my son's chest for this doctor at the hospitals, with promises of a 24 hour call back from my doctor (Dr. Villa), after the first one, I called

While the scheduling staff is nice, I do not like Dr. Villa. He tries to play "gotcha" word games with children and parents. He does not address concerns, provide test results, or generally respond to calls with questions regarding the child's condition. His catch-all diagnosis is "constipation", even when that is not the focus of the complaint, or the result from labs. My child left confused and frustrated. Every follow-up was the same and did not address concerns.

Didn't help my daughter at all. Just wants money... I called to cancel the appointment because I started to get to many bills and they didn't cancel plus send me 50 dollars bill to no show even I called ... now they are calling me if I don't pay they going to send that to my credit report even my insurance already pay all the balance and the mistake with the insurance was from his office... and my daughter didn't get well until we see another doctor

I would give less if u could. First they want u to go to 11 different sites to fill out there health form. Then he orders tests and never actually takes the time to get the films before ur appointment. Then he ordered so much blood the quest diagnostic people wouldn't touch my son. Way to much blood to take from a 3 year old boy. Then I told them I wasn't coming to next appointment if he didn't have the films. My son's family doctor recommended Dr.Villa when his blood test showed severe liver distress. He was 12 years old. Dr. Villa has been treating him now for 18 months. He has 2 deadly liver diseases. Dr.Villa is at the top of his field, the waiting list to get in to him is long, he is that good. His patients are children who are deathly ill, the cost of the care may be high, but you are seeing a SPECIALIST,who will work around the clock to save them. He loves these kids. He saved mine.

Definitely would not recommend Dr Villa to my worst enemy. Office staff is very unfriendly. He overcharges for everything. If you are looking for a doctor that have your child best interest (health wise) at heart, he is certainly not the one. Would not recommend.

Office visit - he spent about 5 minutes, asked her symptoms, felt her belly, ordered an xray. Charged over $600. Got xray back, told us our 9 year old had severe constipation and prescribed two bottles of magnesium citrate. I asked to see radiology report: showed only moderate constipation. Later met another parent who also got super bills and the same Rx for their child from Villa There are other docs in the area (not associated with Cypress North Houston and their whopper fees) Go there.
